He had to agree, when he was sober he knew being drunk like that was a bad thing, his head still occasionally ached from the stun blast he'd taken that night.

"Well if you agree," his mannerism inclined that he was talking to Amelia, but the comments were all left open enough to include them both. "I make an honest promise to control myself, drinking, and otherwise."

He averted his gaze out the window, looking at the sand go by, perhaps it wasn't the best idea to be inviting the bosses daughter out for drinks, but he had always been impulsive, and who knows it could be fun.

"I'm sure Allina would love to, but I have other business I need to take care of on Tantooine after this shipment is ready to be shipped"

Allina smiled at her sister then back at Lucius.

"If you promise to behave then I won't have to kill you and maybe we will have a lovely time"

 

[Darth Nyne]

His head turned away from the window, a playful smile dancing across his lips as he eyed them both individually, and then set his gaze on Allina.

"I guess that would depend on your definition of behave..." he stated as he turned back towards the window catching glimpse of something. "Is that the settlement there?" he asked.

He was making a personal note to know more about the missions he got involved with in the future, he didn't prefer to play the lost puppy, even when it was to beautiful owners.

"Yes, that's it"

Amelia got up and whispered something to the pilot. He nodded and turned the ship. Both girls pulled their veils over their faces again as the engines died and the door opened.

"Ready?"

He pulled his pistol again, triple checking it this time and sliding it back into his waist line.

"Always," was the succinct response to the question. "Is there any food or extra supplies on here, we can use as bait? Try and pull em in without the struggle and all."

The latter was said as he spun around looking for a storage area for such a thing, peace offerings tended to go a long way.

Allina looked at him and rolled her eyes.

"I would not worry about a struggle, Lucius. We have dealt with settlements like this before and they usually come peacefully when an offer like this is made"

Amelia smiled at her sister and finished the thought.

"There may be a few who are opposed, but they won't be much bother"

Both girls smiled and strapped their weapon belts on. Both belts contained two blasters and a vibro dagger.

"We are always prepared though"

He smirked, it was nice to know that the young women were prepared, mindlessly wondering what all they were always prepared for, though after the knock to the head he'd gotten from their brother before he had no intent on saying anything off putting that could be taken as anything less than gentlemanly. Clearing his head he moved to the exit hatch, resting his hand near the release, he looked to them, and put on his most convincing, I'm Here To Save You Look, and smiled.

"Shall we then ladies?"

Both girls nodded and pulled their cloaks over their weapons. They saw no need to show them off when they wanted a peaceful meeting.

"Yes"

Amelia said and stepped out of the ship with Allina right behind her.

Lucius followed closely behind the twins, a friendly smirk on his face, he was prepared to do this, get it over with, and get on to the proposed drink with Allina, considering that her sister would be busy with other business, it was a chance for him to see how they acted seperate of eachother.

Stepping off the ship he got a good look at the ramshackle town they were in, it really shouldn't be hard to make these people believe they offered something better than this. Though he'd heard of settlements on this dirtball of a planet, that actually liked being here, and would die rather than leave.

"It's.... horrid" he murmmered softly, barely loud enough for the twins to hear.

Both twins nodded as the walked and neared the town.

"Please, do not speak Lucius...you will mess everything up"

Amelia gave him a sweet smile and walked closer to the wreck. As they neared a man with a vibro sword came forward.

"Peace...we mean you no harm"

"No harm? What do you bring then, stranger?"

"We just wish to offer you a better chance at life"

He stopped in his tracks a moment, 'don't speak you'll make things worse', that kind of hurt. He'd always been told he handled even the most precarious situations well when it came to talking his way out of trouble, almost as well as he had shooting his way out.

In truth the only thing that stopped him from speaking was the fact that he remembered the crack he'd taken from the brother last time he'd spoken to them in anything less than the most respectful tones.

His hand twitched slightly watching the man with the sword, he was sober so he didn't reach for his pistol, but made absolutely sure that he was ready to do so at a moments notice. Screwing up the mission would be bad enough with the boss, but getting the twins hurt or worse would certainly mean death.

The man scoffed and then laughed loudly.

"A better life? What is wrong with this one?"

"You have no opportunity here and this place is not a good place to raise children"

"I was raised here and I don't see anything wrong with this place"

And that was enough, one could only stay quiet for so long, he looked down at the dust covering the legs of his pants and gave out a chuckle.

"You really believe that this dustball is a good place to raise children," he decided to pay his words to the heart of where most peoples problems were. "you've got some of the worst scum on one side of you, and the Hutts running the other side."

He gave a deep sigh, almost as if he partially believed what he was saying. "You don't believe that the Republic is gonna come out here and try and save you all, if the Hutts decide to rampage do you?" he laughed inwardly, "And that doesn't even touch base on the Sand People!"

He kicked at the sand shuffling the dirt around and sending extra dust into the air, he truly wondered how some people could be so dense.
