[Castus Shan]

Nar Shaddaa - During the Galaxy Crisis.

Castus stood at the precipice of the cities edge. The urban jungle below was quickly slipping into a state of chaos and madness as creatures spewed from the sewers. The creatures managed to garner the attention of force users, some from his flock, and some from those who followed the light. The combination of such would prove to be a sufficient distraction for the marauder. Or at least he hoped it would be.

Seeing a break in the speeder traffic, the human sith jumped from his ledge. His body falling like a stone for several levels as buildings and speederways zipped past. Little more than a blur to him as he continued to fall.

Sensing that he was getting close to his target, Castus reached out the the force. Gripping a ledge. He focused on his grip, pulling himself toward it. When he closed the distance, the human sith flipped in mid air. Landing on the ledge. Sliding sideways cross the ledge he located a vent, large enough to fit a kneeling man. Using the force, he gripped the vent, pulling it free of it's welds, crushing it into a ball like a paper wod before casting it aside.

[Baldr Egilson]

Young Baldr Sigurd had heard of a very specific Sith who was searching in earnest for ancient Sith artifacts to learn from and enhance his power. Baldr had the same goal and figured that two Sith were better than one. He couldn't quite seem to track the man down, however. @Castus Shan was a secretive type, not easy to get ahold of at a moment's notice. So Baldr was quite pleased when he got some information that Castus was heading to Nar Shaddaa. The information came from the not so discreet pilot that had transported the Sith to the city.

Baldr paid another pilot - this one with only a small fighter made for two people and a small amount of gear - to take him to the same location. He arrived and paid the lady, but once she sped off into the glittering city life he could see no sign of the Sith he was searching for. He wondered where in Nar Shaddaa Castus might fight any ancient artifacts and knew the list could be endless. He'd never heard of a Sith presence here, but that didn't really mean anything. The Sith had always liked to keep their presence under wraps until they chose to unveil it in all their glory.

Young Baldr closed his eyes and focused his mind's eye on the Force and it's essence as it flowed through everything around him. He concentrated and meditated for a short while before he recognized another dark side user's essence. It was quite faint, but he definitely could feel it. The young Sith opened his eyes and took his bearings before executing the same freefall and somersault as Castus to land near the vent the other Sith had entered. Baldr looked warily to all sides, but couldn't see or sense anything threatening him and so he knelt down and entered through the opening provided by the brash Sith Castus.

[Castus Shan]

Already in the ventilation system, Castus didn't wait for the kid, as he didn't expect a fellow Sith to be a part of this. In any case he was down the vent system and dropped down into a storage room. As he looked around he noticed large metal creates with a stamp of some a red half sun. Or at least what the marauder always assumed was such.

"Jackpot!" he said aloud. It was then that he felt the disturbance. He would feel the younger Sith approaching. Being followed irritated Castus. So he decided he would wait for the other dark sider. Or at least it would of been his idea. Had company not swung around the corner.

The human Sith was so distracted by his own irritation that he had neglected to sense for others in the room, Or clear it of any danger. So danger is exactly what had found him. The patrolling thugs suddenly raised their blasters and open fire on the Sith. Castus quickly pulled his saber hilt free of his belt and ignited it. Batting back several shots before unleashing a powerful force blast to send the two aliens backward.

Young Baldr Sigurd didn't try to hide his presence in the ventilation shaft. He figured that he was on the same side as the other Sith, the same team, so if anything Castus should be glad of the help that Baldr would provide with whatever it was that he was after on this smelly planet. He clambered through the shafts with as much grace as crouching his fairly large frame into the small space would allow.

That was, until he heard the very distinct sounds of blaster fire and a lightsaber being activated. At those sounds, the blood started pumping faster in the young Sith's veins and in his excitement he made a poor choice to scramble as fast as he could manage the rest of the way through the vents. His momentum didn't allow him a graceful drop from the opening to the room the action was happening in - instead he fell almost face first from the ceiling and landed in a heap amid crates with unfamiliar symbols on them.

Baldr picked himself up off the floor without the least bit of shame - how could he have known the entrance would be a straight drop down after all? And what powerful Sith hadn't made their share of mistakes along the way, anyway? Instead he smiled with confidence and ignited his own two sabers, looking the room over as he did so. Castus was just ahead and to the left of him, while the enemies were across the room and currently floundering from some attack of the Sith's.

Baldr wasted no time rushing across the room to put a final end to the two that Castus had downed, to prove to the other Sith that he would prove a valuable ally. Quick and easy, a single swipe with each blade silenced them forever. That accomplished, young Baldr looked back to his companion with a confident smirk. "Castus, is it?" he said with a friendly tone.

[Castus Shan]

Almost bored with the two thugs, Castus continued to slice his saber through the air. Slapping away stray bolts as it were saber drills back at his former Master's old temple. In fact he was sure his Master would of used more firepower. Bored and more than a little irritated by now, he was about to use the force to choke the life out these two. When other Sith finally appeared. With the grace of a new born tauntaun.

Castus tried not to seem amused by the boy. As he was irritated by the boy's lack of skill. Still he could hardly help but the snort laugh of the kid biffed the create with a solid thud. Recovering however, the boy managed to finish what the paled skinned marauder had barely started.

Extinguishing his weapon and placing it back on his side, he looked the by over. The young man seemed to know him, yet he could not remember ever seeing such a Sith during his travels of the void or in his training. But there were so few he knew in their order that it made some sense he would not recognize the kid.

"And you are?" he answered the boy with a question of his own.

Baldr was wholly unfazed by the other Sith's laughter. He stood confident under Castus's gaze as the man sized him up. Of course he hadn't expected Castus to know him - Baldr was pretty sure they had never crossed paths before. It was only because of the rumors Baldr had heard about Castus's personal mission to find powerful Sith artifacts that he had sought the man out.

"Baldr Sigurd Egilson," the young man replied with pride evident in his voice. His mother was a powerful enchantress and everyone in the Sith should know the name he shared with her.
