My point? This has been going on for a while. Bold or not, it has to be expected. Prices probably wont go up alone based on these few incidents. My opinion is that the oil transportation business is so massive, a few lost ships don't dent it nearly enough.

I doubt the world powers will allow some random group of pirates to damage its interests to such an extent. The leaders of this group will probably be hunted down and brutally killed.

No. But it's worth a lot to it's owners, and will make them very rich if they ransom it or sell it on.
