Gaba and I are currently in the early stages of a space combat training exercise.
I encourage all Jedi interested in space combat to join, as this will be a good entry level exercise to get your feet wet and familliarise yourselves with how space combat is going to be played here on the forums.
This may also be a good opportunity for us to gauge how members interested in becoming a part of Rogue Wing will perform. From there we will be able to use this to analyse strengths and weaknesses and design a training regien that will help us all become better pilots.
As of now we are preparing to engage an unknown enemy threat. We have identified ourselves and why we feel they are a threat and have instructed them to take action in order to resolve the situation in a passive manner.
This however is a training exercise so we plan on roughing him up a bit.
Nonetheless the rules of engagement still apply. The unknown ship could be lost, disabled or in need of repair. The situation must first be properly assessed before it can be properly resolved, be in a passive or forceful manner.
Thus we dont want to just blast em out of the sky without giving em a nice talking to first.
Im eager to see how this plays out, hope to see you all on the simulated battlefield.
