I'm not entirely clear on a couple of points. I can't quite see when you ignited your lightsaber. Then, at the time of the first blaster salvo, Argo had not yet had time to take cover. I'm not sure what you are aiming at. At Argo's original shooting position, or where he will be?

It's ready in my last post, prepped to deflect in my most recent one. And I wasn't sure about your positioning and figured you're taking cover right after you shoot since Cain shows up pretty rapidly. As a result, I'm just deflecting it back at the cover. Uhh I can change it to deflecting to you instead? lol

PS the force push was aimed at you, not an NPC lol I don't care enough to argue it tho so whatev

Shikari turned away from the Lieutenant and glanced around the hangar. There a few meters away were some Vexatious-classinterceptors. Shikari glanced over at the agent who had offered his services to her. "Follow me." As the Lieutenant walked away, Shikari made her way over to the fighters. As she approached, the pilots of the small vessels saw her and stood at attention. "Stand aside. We need to check your craft for tampering." The pilots glanced at each other and backed away from the fighters. Shikari turned to Argo. "You take that one there." Then she said under her breath. "Get in and take off." Then Shikari turned and made her way to the other one. She climbed up the ladder and into the cockpit, flipping the ignition switches, she pushed the boarding ladder off the side and closed the cockpit. The pilots off to the side hopped off the crate they had been sitting on in surprise. Shikari saw them and waved before lifting off and hitting the throttle.

I stayed just behind them

Their was fighter outside of the ship, she realised when she got to the hanger bay. As one was missing, the crew where out apart from in the command center. The bombs where primed, and this ship was ready to go down. They have had done their job well, she decided to head for the command center, as they could not risk any last minute heroics. She put her Phrik Gauntlets on, and began making her way their. This would take her a little time, hopefully though her colleague could hold them off till she got their.

As she made her way up their, through the stairway, as turbo lifts could be shut down. She saw a man passed out on the ground, his hands where close to his rebreather. She took it as a spare if she needed, as she was unsure how long these lasted. Then she started to come round the last corner, where she could hear gun fire. She ignited her lightsaber, and prepared herself for battle. She would soon come round that corner, and face them....

So @Yuan is in space, okay dock fine, come to you fine, but first get by me.

No, that's what I was saying @Sabrina. Before Shikari got in the fighter, Argo tackled her and stopped her, so 90 percent of that post did not happen. It was an interrupt. Because of Argo's action, Shikari never left the hangar. She just got knocked to the floor.

I'm not sure I agree. Saying that you interrupt @Yuan 's interrupt = autohit seems sketchy. More to the point, had Argo done anything to resist the choke, that would be meta gaming. On the timeline I was working towards - before the interrupt - it never happened and he had no experience of it.

Please can I have a chance to respond?

I'm also not sure that you can maintain that concentration while everything else is going on.

Actually, it's your responsibility to disrupt attacks coming your way. If you had shot at me or something, then it would've worked. Yuan trying to drop a fixture on me while all I have to do is step back is not enough to break concentration. I'm sorry, but after 2 posts of choking, it's an autohit at this point.

I'm not having to shift focus on anything else, as Yuan didn't even actively attack me. Her post is just slashing and closing distance. There's no real strike being landed anywhere on me. In many past pvps I've been in, if a defense is solely relying on an external factor - it almost never works. You have to actively do something to throw it off.

Also, I'm not interrupting the fixture - Sabrina is. On top of that, as an added measure, I'm stepping back while choking you just in case that doesn't work as the fixture is just directly dropping:

The connectors securing the light to the ceiling creaked and snapped and the large light fixture dropped, free-falling down towards the blue woman.

Your defense relied entirely on Yuan's interrupt - which simply didn't happen. Yuan doesn't get a sudden leg up in the posting order. Remember - she was skipped a turn. There are penalties for that. Therefore the sequence is - choke happens - yuan tries to interject - yuan fails - choke continues. You are always free to shoot and take other measures when experiencing a choke and it's not metagaming. In this case you missed that opportunity.
