DESCRIPTION​

A gargantuan-sized luxury craft, the 'Star Palace' class lives up to it's name of being a palace in the stars. Manufactured by Blackwell Driveworks, the Star Palace-class is classed as a 'Mega Yacht' that's almost as large as a cruiser. These ships were marketed to either be personal yachts or used as luxurious cruise liners and are made to order. The Star Palace well fulfills the needs of their owners, having more than enough space for whatever they could possibly want and then some, many different cabins and compartments on it's many decks that can be used for whatever their owner desires.

Despite the ship's large size, it can be flown with a small skeleton crew, although a optimal requires over one-hundred crew, which in addition to flying and maintaining the ship, also includes attendants for the ship's owner. One could have droids staff the ship though.

The Star Palace has a huge passenger capacity, and plenty of space for them, making it great as a cruiser liner or if their owner wants to host a huge events on board the ship. The Star Palace also boasts an integrated smart ship AI suite node, with the ship be designed and built around it. Due to the sheer size of the ship, the suite can't assist the crew with the handling of the ship, but it can perform other menial tasks around the ship such as turning lights on/off, playing music. The AI can respond to it's owners voice commands anywhere in the ship.

A ship fit for a king, as Blackwell Driveworks would boast. As one could imagine, these ships are very expensive even among luxury ships, putting them only in reach of the galaxy's most elite. These ships are a rare sight in the galaxy indeed.

Although Yachts are normally perfectly legal, a ship this large requires licensing in civilized space for personal or commerical ownership.
