Words he had heard before. Words he had spoken before. The two were quite alike, at least in how Krinn was in his time as an Acolyte. What he did and said had been selfish, based entirely off of his desire to survive. Krinn had never felt a particular loyalty to the Empire, and he doubts he ever will. The Nautolan can only wonder if Senin's words were as empty as Krinn's had been.

He'd walk out of the artificial cove, but as soon as the ocean was clear, Krinn intended to make his dive.
