Ask Sun and Sea

[Krinn Nelthar]

Words he had heard before. Words he had spoken before. The two were quite alike, at least in how Krinn was in his time as an Acolyte. What he did and said had been selfish, based entirely off of his desire to survive. Krinn had never felt a particular loyalty to the Empire, and he doubts he ever will. The Nautolan can only wonder if Senin's words were as empty as Krinn's had been.

"I'm not hungry." He states simply, and he's at least thankful that the Acolyte paid the costs of their drinks. "And I'm not staying on the beach." Krinn gestures vaguely to the gills that rested like carvings within his skull. No, he wasn't going to relax on land. The Nautolan intended to fly beneath the waves. He'd walk out of the artificial cove, but as soon as the ocean was clear, Krinn intended to make his dive.

[Senin Ravelo]

”Oh, right. You want to stay under the water.” Senin said, finally understanding what Krinn wanted to say. Sometimes he forgot that there were other sentient beings in the Galaxy that were capable of breathing underwater.

“Then, I think that is time for us to part ways.” he said, before walking out of the pool. Even if he could follow the Champion underwater, the Acolyte wasn’t in the mood to continue here anymore. His conversation with Krinn made him come to the conclusion that he had no loyalty to the Empire, beyond the necessary to make him stay alive.

“As I said, if you become hungry, there are several tents where you can buy food.” he turned his back to Krinn and walked away. However, Senin suddenly turned to look at the Nautolan. “While you are here, try to not enter into fights or kill anyone. It would give me a headache to solve with the government later.”

With this last advice, the Acolyte left the Nautolan alone. Now he had more things to think about rather than babysit a broody Champion. While he walked out of the beach, Senin contemplated if it would be better for him if he left the Sith Order and the Empire.
