BIOGRAPHY

Syvux Nahrom is a female Cathar who originally hails from a remote, seldom visited region of the Outer Rim. The offspring of colonists who settled the region during the Old Republic era, she was wrenched from her agrarian upbringing as an adolescent by slavers. She was subsequently given as a kind of bribe to a local warlord in the region, the self-styled "Grand King-Admiral" Elbasy Satozo, a thoroughly delusional pirate chieftain who fancied himself a gentleman conqueror.

Syvux was initially kept as a kind of pet by the warlord Satozo. However, over time, the Grand King-Admiral began to notice the intelligence and innate skills of his slave, notably her quick reflexes and aptitude for piloting. Though not manumitted outright, Syvux began to receive greater trust from her pirate Master, and was even taken on raids occasionally. Despite this, she still had to put up with certain depredations; she chafed under her captivity, and yearned to regain the choices that had been stolen from her.

Syvux put a great deal of planning into how she would win her freedom, and one day, those plans went into action. On a rare occasion when all of the Grand King-Admiral's motley "fleet" was grounded at the warlord's home base, she set about stealing the coaxium hyperfuel from all of them, save one. This last she used to make good her escape, laying in a course that would take her as far as the hyperdrive would reach. Any potential pursuit was left stranded in the system, their own ships deprived of hyperspace capability.

Since her escape, Syvux has plied the space-lanes in her stolen ship, supporting herself as a freelance pilot for hire. Though she often finds herself on the wrong side of the law, she has proven as adept at staying one step ahead of the constabulary as from vengeful pirates.
