It hasn't been so long since Tahn joined the dark jedi of the bogan, and learned their secrets. But today was different, yeah he was going to have further training to become an instructor, and well he did not know his new master well. But he had heard the rumors befor about how crazy he was, and what he did to his previous apprentices. Gladely Tahn was prepared to give anything to the dark jedi of the bogan, and that is as long as he gets more powerful.

Tahn walked through the corridors of the dark temple, as he noticed the other crusaders, and acolytes looking at him. They probably knew well that Tahn may probably end up getting killed, but well Tahn knew well that he had the guts to take on the challenge, and become ana instructor.Yeah his arrogance was probably one of his strongest weapons along with his hate, anger, and of course his endless lust for revenge.Tahn was wearing his dark robe, and the robe's hood was covering his head, and of course his newly made lightsaber was hanging from his belt.

"I came here for further training in the dark arts" Tahn said out loud as he stood outside the room where his master was supposed to be in.

((The crap, I posted yesterday. Forums must've ate it...))

The door opened seemingly of it's own accord, revealing a room lined with bookshelves containing holorecords, scrolls dating back decades and centuries, and various hard copies. The room smelt of parechment and ink and that sterile smell that accompanies most technology when first used. In the back operating under a glow lamp was the pale figure, barely illuminated of Master Mortificar.

"Is that so..." he says quietly, not bothering to look up. Suddenly he became two people, like a ghost seemingly standing while his double stayed studying. The standing Mortificar walked forward. "And you think you have the stomach for what I will teach? You will learn about the force. The force is used to cause pain, domination, suffering. You will learn all those things intimately and before you're through you will wish for death and perhaps even earn it." He said this with a tilted head. "But if you survive...you will know the force as a lover knows his love. An intimate bond that you can do marvelous things with...and you will be tasked with instrucing others on it's merits. A gate keeper for that we know."

Tahn walked into the eerie, and scary room of his new master, well the new room seemed scary, but of course it was not as scary as the site of his master.

"master I am ready to give anything in return of the knowledge you will give me, yeah I need this knowledge to give my enemy pain, suffering, and death. I dont fear death for myself, or pain. If I cant learn what you have to teach me, then I will a weakling who deservs pain, and death . But please master teach me everything you know about the dark side, give me the knowledge that I need to take revenge upon the jedi" Tahn spoke in an arrogant, and a deep tone full of anger, and hate. He tried not to show his fear as well, yeah if Tahn wanted to survive this training he had to consider Mortifacur as an enemy more than an ally.

Mortificar raised a hand and let loose his power in the force, lifting the young teacher into the air and squeezing his organs. "You don't fear death? Then why should you live? Abandon and arrogance do not bode well for survival, and that is what we above all others must do." he let him go dropping him to the ground, that same cold indifference in his face.

Tahn was left up, and squeezed hardly by the Dark master. It was painful, but even during such a moment Tahn did not show his fear from the dark master, showing him only his strong emotions. Hate, anger, and revenge.

After Tahn was dropped on the floor he got back on his feet fastly." Master my lust for revenge is really strong, yes it is strong enough to make me abandon even my own precious life" Tahn spoke to the instructor in a deep tone that was full of pain, anger, and hate.

Mortificar looked highly amused. "Are you deaf? I'll not train you. Can't even bother to pay attention." He used the force to open the door fully. "See yourself out before I change my mind and kill you..."

Tahn stood infront of his master, and the pain from the previous attack was obvious on his face."I shall do anything the bogan wants me to do in return of your teachings master" Tahn spoke as it was true he could get killed now, but he would rather die here than become a failure, and leave."the needs of the bogan shall come first befor my personal ambitions."

Mortificar stood, the one that was at the desk, the force doppleganger disappearing right before Tahns eyes. "Is that so?" he says thoughtfully, raising a pale finger to his chin thinking. After a few moments of silence he smiles and steps forward somewhat. "And how might you prove this?" he asks curiously.

Mortificar removed a small vibroknife from within his robes. "Whatever I command you to do hmm?" He says curiously. He passes close to the younger apprentice that wicked grin on his face. "Here..." he says handing him the knife. "Cut off an appendage or a digit. I'll allow you to chose."

He took a few steps back and watched curiously head tilted to the side, that sharktoothed grin just smiling away as he played with one of the bones on his robes. You suddenly realize that the vast majority of them are smaller human bones and you've realized just how he got them, with those who prove so eager and swear themselves to do what he says.

Tahn was now nervous, and he probably did not know what to do. Yeah that was probably a hard challenge. But well of course he was doing all of that to be more powerful, yet doing that was impossible yeah that was going to make him weaker already. Tahn held the knife close to his arms, yeah he almost cutted them of, but he stopped at the last moment befor doing that drawing some blood from his arm. Tahn then closed his eyes, and start to breath fastly.

Mortificar chuckled. "Ah so you're stupid, but not as stupid as others...Hmm...maybe you're not a lost cause. I never said to cut off you're appendage, just cut off an appendage. It could be anyone's you know?" He said taking the vibro knife back. "But really now, you said you'd do anything so I want you to clean this room organise the shelves in cronological order, read them as you go and then tell me what you've learned by the end of it...Oh...yes...one last thing."

He waved his hand, the shelves went flying papers, holodisks, and various other records went scattering all across the room.

"Get started. If you're not done in satisfactory time maybe I will take an arm..." and with that he left the room off to who knows where.

Damn, well gladely Tahn did not have to cut a limp, or better say not his onw limp at least, yet organizng the room made Tahn really pissed off, and it also reminded him of his old days when he was still a mere slave. After his master left Tahn sat down on the floor cross leged. By using the force everything moved around resting in its place, yeah the force it was really a signifcant tool.

After Tahn was done he started to examine the holocrons, and the other papers around. Some of them probably had the code written on it, so gladely Tahn was able to refresh his memory, also he read the history of the dark jedi again, and memorized it by hard this time. The new thing he learned was about the job, and the duties of instructors. It took Tahn alot of hour, maybe even days he was not even able to notice that. The only thing he was able to notice was how much he liked reading, and learning. That was something he never expected to like after all.

After a few days Mortificar returned, a glass of wine in one hand he stood and looked around. "Now then...these should be all in order...." He looks around pulling various books out and tossing them back onto the ground, the vast majority of them went back into the floor. "I said to organize them, not put them back using the force. You can't simply use the force to do your bidding when you don't know what your trying to do intimately. You'll replace it again by hand." he said, cold indignant anger in his voice. "If I find one more out of place you will be losing an arm, and you won't be the one cutting it off." He made his point by closing a fist, force crushing the pupils arm though not strong enough to do more than cause slight nerve damage that would fade in a few hours, though still be rather painful. Without another word he turned and left.

Tahn's arm almost bursted from pain. Yeah moving it was hard at the moment, but oh well he had to move it if he did not want to lose it completly."yes master"Tahn spoke in an tone full of anger, and hate as he got, and started to fix everything back without using the force.

He putted the books slowly on their right place, yeah after all these days he was able to know the right place of everything that was in this place. It probably took him an hour to do that, but finally he was completly done. Hopefully everything was now organized.

Tahn stood now in the middle of the room. His anger was probably eating him, yeah he was really getting humilated badly, but well all what he was able to do now was receiving orders, and following his master's orders without questioning them.

Master Mortificar walked in slowly, robes billowing. He looked around scanning various places. Suddenly he split into three and began to search through very carefully all the documents there. Then his dopplegangers faded away leaving only the master.

"Very good." he said "Now tell me what all you've learned here today."

"I have learned more about the history of the bogan, and I guess that I also now understand the code much more, and well the force... yeah the force I guess I now know alot more about it, and how signifcant it is" Tahn spoke in an emotionless tone, yet the fear inside him was something anyone could sense easily.

"No, no no..." he shook his head in a very disapproving manner. "Tell me what you learned, the subject matter, not the titles." he said, lip twitching upwords into a slight snarl then back down that usual passive look.

"The force" Tahn said as he gasped for air." In the eyes of the Jedi it is a significant creature that bounds the world and life together. They followed its will, and wait for it to guide them. But to me the force is just a tool. A powerful tool that can help me achieve my goals"

"The code. No peace, only suffering. No knowledge, only instinct. No serenity, only passion. No harmony, only chaos. No life, only death." Tahn said as he started to move back, and forth. He had already studied the code many times, but after all there was no reason to not explain it again." There is not peace in the world, only suffering. And well I believe I have followed this line very well. I made my suffering motivate my strong emotions until I was finally able to gain the power that I have never dreamt of having" Tahn then stopped for awhile.

"No knowledge. Knowledge is something that the Jedi only believe in. They sit in their temples, and let the force give them the knowledge, and guide them. However we act on our instincts, and use the force instead of letting it guide us." Tahn said.

"Chaos, the world is made of chaos, and we are simply are agents of chaos nothing more, and this is something that the Jedi refuse to believe." Tahn stopped. Now was the time to explain the last line.

"Everyone is going to die. There is nothing such as being one with the force or living your life through the force. However we must take full advantage of our lives, and try to achieve our goals, and gain power."

"about the history. Well I knew the history pretty well, and it is something that we really should not be proud of. However I understood one thing from it, and that was the ability of the dark side to turn a group of cowardice exiled Jedi into a cult of powerful dark siders who are ready to defeat the Jedi order, and murder everyone in it" Tahn then stopped as he waited for his master's approval.

"Very good indeed." He said smiling. "I would like to make one addendum to your understanding of knowledge. We study knowledge, as Instructors we alone possess all the knowledge of the bogan at any given time. So then, how is this? Many a pupil has said it is paradoxical." He says, nodding as he talks, it was unlikely he expected Tahn to understand this.

"What you must aim for then, is for that knowledge to be so ingrained in you, that it becomes instinct, and from there that knowledge can grow, and morph and change and give you power you have not even dreamt of. You must make it a part of you, as you do the force."
