Teri'na Zreekt
"Would you care for some sweet tea?"
You are lead into a beautiful little house, completely immaculate. In fact, perhaps too tidy. The woman who greeted you has a comforting air about her, and her hair is cut into a tidy perm. However, the way she moves and talks is somewhat robotic. There is not a crease in her clothes. But her eyes are sunken deep into her head, like she is tired or thirsting. You start to get somewhat nervous, as she settles into a tiny little cosy armchair.
"Do take a seat, my dear," She says in a sickly sweet, simpering voice. "I'm sure you've had a long journey," She smiles then, and her eyes flash. Awkwardly, you take a seat down into an all too squishy chair. Looking around, you see the room is decorated with adorable little pictures of kittens and pink wallpaper. Tiny, cute little ornaments clutter every free surface. The whole thing is enough to make you feel ever so slightly claustrophobic and sick. You stop looking around, and you see the woman still staring right at you. "Do you like my house, dear?" She says with a little tilt of her head. You stutter in reply, mumbling something about her abode being beautiful. She flashes another smile, and stands up, walking over to the kitchen which, as far as you can tell, is just as cluttered as the room which you are sitting.
Not long after, she returns with a tiny teapot and two cups which have been painted with 'adorable' pictures of little children hugging. In fact, you begin to feel a bit more sick. She fills both cups with a sugary looking, amber liquid and hands a cup to you, smiling expectantly. You take a sip, and sure enough it is as sickly as the wretched woman herself. She drinks some too, and replaces hers on her saucer. "I suppose you will want to hear about my family, then?" She says eagerly, seemingly procuring a photo album from thin air. You shrug, thinking about it could do no harm. Flipping it over, she gestures you closer, and she does so you feel yourself being physically drawn towards the mousy, middle-aged woman before you.
"I have two sons and a daughter," She says with a nod. "Zato - he's here," She says, pointing to a family photograph. "He's a fine young gentleman. Very polite. Trained in the ways of the force!" She adds, with a flourish. Next she points to a slightly younger boy next to Zato. "This is Furosai! He was a darling!" She pauses for a second, frowning at the photo album. "They were gone. I never got to raise them," A dark, harsh tone entering into her sickly voice for a second. This quickly dissipates, and she points to a little girl on the album. "This is darling Zriri! My pride and joy; my little girl! Shame she had to go too," She smiles, this time genuinely. You began to feel a bit ill at the odd state of the children, how they looked so pale and withdrawn. You smile meekly, beginning to feel inexplicably woozy. Seeing a cruel glint in the woman's eye for not the first time, you decide it was time you left. Trying to stand up, it feels like your legs are like lead weights. Your head spinning, you collapse to the ground, knocking the little teapot flying.
The woman stands up, a smirk on her face. You realise it now, you've been drugged! Walking towards you slowly, she leans down, and says in her most sweet voice. "My; we're going to have fun,"
