Joss just got signed on to write and direct the sequel and he will also be involved with an ABC live-action series set in this Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I remember Joss saying he'd want the sequel to be ''smaller and darker'', so this is good news to me.

Not really, Marvels got at least four other movies in the works too and Joss did a phenomenal job and gave them shit tonnes of money in the process, so it's sort of a win/win scenario for everyone to be honest.

So I'm curious because of the recent Age of Ulton event within the comics, the Marvel cinematic universe is going to be one of the universes also effected by the event. Because in the comics right now because they fiddled with time too much essentially all of the Marvel universes are starting to bleed into each other, so maybe this will have something to do with it.

Oh my...maybe being stuck in a metal suit where we don't have to see him will make up for this decision. Of course the last thing I saw him in was The Office so my perception may be skewed.

He is, I don't disagree with his ability, I just haven't seen him as the villain in any movies so it'll be interesting to see if he can pull off an Ultron that does the comics justice.

I wonder how they'll be approaching Ultron, whether it's through practical, CG effects or both. On that point, would he simply be providing a voice?
