Battle of Coruscant: The Jedi Temple

Within three years the Mandalorian and Imperial Forces had made it to the heart of the Alliance: Coruscant. The Alliance threw the bulk of its Core forces at Alsakan, the battle was devastating as the Mandalorian carved through the resistance. It opened the way for the Sith to launch their attacks on Tython, looking to break the Jedi on their very home as well as Empress Teta. There was no doubt darkness had fallen, war had come to the very place where it was first declared. Citizens who chose to stay were now caught in the crossfire; the Jedi would make their last stand at their temple, and Senators who believed in the good of Democracy pledged their loyalty by fighting alongside those who were first called to the front lines.

Jedi Temple Front Gates

While many Jedi had chosen to leave the core worlds and hide, many did choose to stay and fight. They took their stand at their Temple, ready to defend everything they had fought so hard for. It had only been a year since the reconstruction after the bombing and now the Sith had returned in overwhelming numbers. The dark side engulfed its halls, flooding what little light did remain. The entrance to peace and tranquility now lined with Jedi, their blades glowing brightly through the smoke of destruction as they looked to slow the oncoming onslaught of the sons and daughters of Bogan. Their image now not ideal to what they used to represent. The Forces of light and dark will come together in their never ending struggle, though only one will prove victorious.

He could feel him, back there, somewhere within the bowels of the Temple. His son, his blood, his legacy. He didn't know why he was here, he should have left with the others, but something within him, something of his old self, had prevented him from running away when so many young Jedi were still here, they might be fools, but he wasn't going to let them throw away their lives for nothing. And throwing away their lives they were, there was no chance of victory here, the GA was going to loose, most of the Order was gone, it was only the stragglers and idiots that were left behind. But his son was still here, part of the last group of padawans still waiting for a transport to take them off planet, it was for him that he was still here. As soon as he was safe he would head out, lead as many of these young fools away from this chaos as possible.

So he waited, waited for the Sith, waited for the ship to take his son away to safety, maybe even waited for his own death. He had been a Master once, before he left the Order, before he went searching for something that was already lost before he even set out. Jedi Master Luthair al'Thor, that was who he had been, now he was a father, a father wanting nothing more than to see his son live through the day.

Light rhythmic footsteps were the only sounds Avlis made as he strode the red isle leading up to the Gates of the Jedi Temple, his crimson tool humming as his harbinger of death. History had so imprinted itself upon this temple, for so many times had it been destroyed by Sith, and rebuilt by Jedi, only to be destroyed once again. The Jedi, stubborn beasts, believing in figments such as peace and prosperity. This was why the Sith must always be present to teach them a lesson, for they would never learn, no matter how strong they may become. Avlis' crooked lips curved into a smile, and his tongue licked them in anticipation. The war had now reached it's climax, a moment where the Imperium would gain it's birthright, to rule the galaxy.

A hood obscured his pale skin, for the Avlis despised the light, a foreign thing from his own homeworld of Umbara. He was the first to come, for Avlis had only one target he wished to destroy, a beacon of false hope that Avlis so wished to crush between his ashen fingers. As the shadows of the repulsive statues obscured the burning sun, and he neared the Temple, Avlis dumped his cloak and spun his lightsaber in test, a scorched line manifesting upon the marble entrance and sparks flying. The satisfying hiss that resulted told Avlis that he was ready to go to war. With the Force, Avlis rammed the door, which stress under the burden. A painful creaking sound rumbled in result, like a warning to all Jedi that it had finally began. With another powerful slam, the doors burst open, and flew in opposite directions across the temple.

Avlis' crooked smile turned into a devilish grin, and his voice sung with satisfaction.

"The Dark Side prevails."

He saw the one that he was going to kill. He could feel it, for the man smelled of fear and like an unspoken prophecy Avlis could feel how he would cut down the man. This was the one, a fit and worthy opponent. He was older, a weakness he would bear. Avlis' mind was already battering across his and the others defenses, whilst instilling a Forced fear upon them. He wouldn't have to for they themselves had already fabricated their own. Their own homeworld, a place thought to be a haven, to be safe. There was nowhere else to go, the Jedi Temple itself was being overrun.

Any hope they still savored, like a lost dream, was foolish. They had been destined for death since their wretched creation, and Dioddai would be the conduit of it. Oh how it pleasured him.

"Flee, abominable Jedi, for your very Temple reaches it's doom."

A rare thing was upon Avlis' face, for he was showing an emotion. Naturally, he was an nonchalant changeless Sith, but today he was wild and unrestricted. Today, he let loose the vicious beast within him. A wicked grin was pasted upon his face, and his grey eyes now shown with cruelty and anticipation. This was not anger, nor annoyance. This was bloodlust. Today, the blood of the Jedi runs deep down the steps of their very own Temple, soaking their polished walls and blaspheming their holy sanctuary.

Today, the Jedi will die.

Alvis was not the first to arrive, but he was in front of Drakus. A dark figure walked slowly up the red walkway, Drakus had come full circle. Being a former Jedi this was were he had started his training...as well as the planet he was born and raised on. Now he was here a conqueror.

Drakus heard the door to the temple give way but kept on walking, he was in no hurry. The capital will be theirs he had vowed it. If only to himself, his homecoming would be a victorious one. A dark smile was hidden under the helmet of his armor, Drakus had modeled it after the Sith armor of the great Galactic war. An armor that would once again strike fear into the hearts of the Empires enemies.

Coming to a stop at Alvis's side, Drakus crossed his arms over his chest and took a deep breath. The three spikes on his gauntlets kept clear of his arms. This place hadn't changed, and he would revel in walking in it's ruins once it was destroyed.

"This place hasn't changed, let's raise it to the ground."

Drakus's voice was sightly changed by the Helmet, dark voids of the helmets eye's shielded his own. The Helmets HUD searching for a target of his own. But it would seem that a large number of Jedi had fled instead of stand a face their end. The Jedi were cowards, and those that remained would be dealt with as cowards.

"You have your fun Alvis, i shall wait for mine."

With that Drakus moved to a pillar and leaned his back against it, waiting for his moment to engage in glorious combat. Reaching out with the force sight to locate any Jedi heading their way. One would think they would be more focused on defending their temple and their artifacts if they were still here.

Using his jetpack, Logan landed on a building that was few meters from the temple. The sounds blaster fire could be heard from a distance with screams being muffled. On his arrival on the planet surface, he could see the city covered in smoke with imperial star destroyers bombarding the surface with their laser cannons. At the walk way of the temple, the sith were armed with their red blades, ready for battle. Logan was armed with a DC-15a with a grenade attachment, along with disintegrating weaponry and many armaments that are made for encountering any jedi. Rising his rifle, he set his sights on the entrance of the temple. The mandalorians have infiltrated different sections of temple, So if the jedi were attempting flee, they would be gunned down by the warriors. Being called into battle by Mandalore himself, his fellow warriors have begun to launch their attack on Coruscant. Transports of imperial stormtroopers landed outside of the temple. By the sheer amount soldiers that empire has, this will be a bloody battle.

Kin-Wan. Was that who he was? He didn't know anymore. He was a different Kin-Wan. He looked into a shard of broken glass seeing his eyes as crimson as the blood of the slain littering the once glorious Jedi Temple. He should care. He should feel saddened, but he didn't. At least not as he was now. He had not gotten the information he had sought in the Archives thanks to that damn woman. He would hunt her down once he grew stronger...once he devoured more essence. No. He shook his head. These thoughts weren't his. What was happening to him? It had all started when he found that cursed puzzle box. He wished he had never gone on that quest, but at the same time he loved the power. He had so easily crushed the stormtroopers. It sickened and excited him. He felt both dark and light fighting, twisting together inside of him until he wasn't able to discern the difference between the two. He scowled at his reflection. He could have a philosophical debate about good and idea, the light and dark side of the Force once he left this burning world behind.

He was nearing the main gates, considering most of the fighting was now deep in the temple as the remaining Jedi lost ground it would be safer than trying to leave through the hanger. The Sith undoubtedly would assume that as the first place they would attempt to escape from. He stood and made his way through the debris filled corridors, watching for any movements. He was still a bit tender, both physically and mentally from the fight in the archives. The Sith woman had been extremely powerful with mental attacks and the worthless stormtrooper had stabbed him in the arm. He had found an injured stormtrooper all alone and absorbed his life force to heal, but he was still sore. He neared the entrance and stopped, hiding in the shadows he saw the main entrance wasn't as empty as he had hoped.

Striding up beside the Sith masters came Satoryu, dressed in modest and simple, yet chic Assassin's robes. Her pallid white skin stood out in stark contrast to the blackness of her hair and clothing, her long sleeves hiding her small hands. Here she was, Coruscant, at the place of moments that changed galactic history, from Naga Sadow's invasion during the Great Hyperspace War, to Darth Malgus' sacking of the Jedi temple, to Order 66 and the fall of the Galactic Republic. Never had she been so far away from home.

She gazed up at the structure. This was were the Jedi sheltered their children from the true nature of the very galaxy they claimed to defend. An entire order founded on hypocrisy, naivety and false hope. What truly disgusted Sato was how the Jedi took their alignment to the Light so for granted, they were a tiny minority of beings separated from the reality of the Force and its cruelty. Innocence is a fleeting precious thing, but here was where the Jedi preserved theirs for eternity.

"Innocence will burn."

Sato took her place between Drakus and Avlis. Her piercing green eyes gazed towards the temple entrance, trying to catch a glimpse of her victims.

Coruscant, Jedi Temple... It was in this place where all his dreams died. All his hopes, wishes, desire for a better future. They were all mercilessly slain. Months ago. He could still remember that very moment, the Jedi Master looking at Galad's face with dissapointment, and sorrow. As if he was looking at a lost cause, a physical shape of the word, 'fallen'. He could remember how he was filled with anger, just as it happened yesterday. That very moment, was etched to his memory so deeply that, it would take much, much more than the mere test of time to remove it. No, it was a part of him now. Along with the other sources of his pain, and suffering. The screams of his mother, the last moment he spent with his father. These memories, were a part of the boy called Galad, destined to be his curse, always and forever.. Always and forever. The death itself could not break them apart.

He stared into the once glorious, magnificent Temple. Only a shadow of it's former self. The Jedi Temple he used to know, was a completly different place. A beacon of hope, and light, where no dark could hope to reach, beyond all evil. He was, sad. Standing witness to the fall of something so ancient, and important. The raising smoke, and the dancing flames declared that the Temple would not stand much longer. The Dark Side, was victorious at the end. A total, undeniable cloak of darkness would cover the whole Galaxy from now on, it's shadows touching even to the humblest of souls from the long-forsaken planets at the very borders of civilization. Was this what he wanted from the very beginning? He was determinated to see an end to the Galactic Alliance and the Jedi Order before. But, upon seeing the disaster for himself, a spark of hesitation grew within him. It was too late. The iron fist would not let him turn away so easily now. The insanity, enchanted with the will of the Dark Side, revealed itself, causing the remnants of the good to withdraw, who knows for how long this time.

The Jedi Temple shall fall.. Galad would have his vengeance. He would fight for it until his last breath. But against who? Where lay the true enemy now? How many more revenge wars are there to be waged? How many before the madness creeps in?

He was totally covered in darks, For the first time ever, he wore a Sith Robe, with his own black cloak added to it. With a hood of the same colour above his head, shadowing his face. He walked slowly with the end of his robes gently brushing the ground, following the other man in darks from a medium distance. When the leading figure changed direction, Galad kept walking towards the Main Gate. He passed statues, stairs, two more dark figures, and small fires here and there. His eyes were fixed on the Temple, he payed no attention to anything else. He stopped before the gate itself, observing the soon-to-begin duel for a moment, and the gate again. Under his robes, his lightsaber hilt was secretly waiting for it's time, when it would be unleashead and stain the ground with the Jedi dead. He slightly touched it, his fingers strolling around it. His arms were not visible, as they were hidded inside the robes, one would notice only a straight body when looking at him. A single dark figure standing at the doorsteps of the Temple Entrance. His head was down, bended by the weight of the duty.

He gave himself to the Dark Side, as the pure power flowed through him, filling both his body, and his mind. He was as dark as the robes he wore now. No light slipped away, no good-intentions were there to be found. For the first time ever, the purest from of the darkness, ruled over the young boy. It felt like..strength. And will. Passion... His cloak waved behind him, in the sudden winds.

Any who tried to leave the Temple through the Main Gates, would run into him first.

" How exciting! "

With war raging all around one would think such an exclamation would be in regards to the carnage, but the armored figure crouched by the nearest over turned trash can was more enticed by the discarded scraps of flimsi he held to the light. Both gauntlets clenching it tightly at opposing ends as if it were a map to some lost treasure. This metal word was new to the young Mandalorian, all the sights and sounds around him contrasted heavily against his lush jungle home. Suffice to say everything around him was quite new and... exciting.

The piece of flimsi Delmon Skyblade held between his hands was actually some type of take out menu. Though the words were lost to him, it was the pictures and colorful artwork that caught his eye. Shoving the flimsi into one of his belt pockets, Delmon withdrew from his treasure hunt back to the task at hand. The Jedi temple loomed before him like some sort of mysterious fortress, the many idols and statues that seemingly guarded the structure were what first caught his eye. He saw them as monuments to vanity, a futile attempt at immortality through meaningless reverence.

Who worship them now? Their so called followers had fled to the stars, betraying all they had claimed to believe in. They were cowards, one of the worst titles one could bestow in Mandalorian culture. The few that had chosen to stay would be given a warriors death, a fitting end to a tired regime.

Casually walking up the massive pathway leading to the temples entrance, Delmon appeared to be completely oblivious to the battle around him. His sword had not been drawn and his pistol still hung in its holster, his gait was slow and deliberate and his posture appeared to be relaxed. If there had not been a war raging around him, one might think Delmon was sight seeing rather than approaching battle. However, Delmon's senses scanned for any sign of potential danger. Although he was quite interested in the sights, his main objective remained clear.

As he neared the looming structure before him, a gauntleted hand came to rest on the hilt of his blade.

It was time.

Yuunda was one of the few Jedi who remained behind to defend the temple from the Sith. He hardly got any sleep the night before because he was double checking his equipment for the coming battle. Mainly that his robotics were in well working order, his arm and legs as well as the only weapons that he was bringing with him. He would be sorely missing his original lightsaber, but that was in the hands of the enemy now, however, he had two new lightsabers to help him get it back. One was made of a phrik alloy that housed a lustrous blue krayt pearl, and the other was a durasteel hilt that had been burnished black that had a lustrous white krayt pearl. He kept his durasteel hilt lightsaber hidden in his right arm as a surprise attack however plus it had a trick up its sleeve. It was a duel phase lightsaber that would extend an extra foot in length at his command.

Then there was his final weapon, his ally and his friend: the force. He had been training extensively in its use prior to this day, hoping that it would help him to survive this war. His repertoire of powers was meek when compared to the masters, but his skill in the powers that he knew was second to none. He had been honing his skills on some of the most basic manipulations, such as telekinesis and strengthening his body, but he had learned a great deal about some of the more advanced skills as well. One in particular that he enjoyed was pyromancy. Creating the fire out of nothingness took a lot out of him still, but once it was there, it was a simple matter to manipulate it.

The day of the battle had approached and the time was near for him to unleash his full strength. He had been holding back quite a bit in the skirmishes that he had had, and only a few of them let him use his full potential. This time he was not going to hold back anything, he was going to start out strong, he was going to unleash the dragon. He had made his way to the main gates of his home and was met with several Sith presences, one of which was familiar to him. He was almost glad that he had come, their last match, while Yuunda had considered it a win, was rather disappointing. He had never known a Sith to give up before. Excitement filled him, as it usually did before a battle. A weird trait for a Jedi, but Yuunda was no ordinary Jedi. He had been trained by a Dar'manda before he came to the order and by one of the most dangerous people in the galaxy. War was in his blood weather he liked it or not.

He walked out of the debris into the light and shouted at the man in dark armor, "Drakus, the time has come to fight once more. But it seems that you have grown even more cowardly than last time, you think that pathetic shell will protect you?" Yuunda had been starting to gather the force about him since his walk down the hall, and had meant to infuriate the Sith Master, for clearly he had risen to that rank. He called his Phrik alloy blade to his hand and ignited the dark blue blade. Taking in a deep breath he waited for the storm to break.

Ryloss looked at the burning temple. For years, that building had been his home. Then it had been blown up. Ryloss bowed his head slightly in remembrance of pretty much his entire childhood group. All dead now, of course. Ryloss felt his grip tighten on the lightsaber in his hand as he thought of his lost friends. Most of them had been killed when the Temple had been destroyed. Only three of them hadn't been in it. The first, a Twi'lek, died later that same month from wounds he sustained trying to find people inside. The other, an Onwati, had only died recently at the hands of a Mandolorian.
Ryloss closed his eyes and put his lightsaber away. Instead, he opted for his Massassi sword. He had crafted this blade himself, so it fit his hands perfectly.
Ryloss had chosen this weapon for a few reasons. One, it would almost represent a full circle to him. By creating this weapon, he had begun to slip to the Dark Side. Now, he would use it to combat it.
The second would be it would cause indecision. A lightsaber betrayed your allegiance quickly. A Sith sword wouldn't, because the majority of the Jedi wouldn't know what it was and the Sith would then think he was on their side. Until, of course, he attacked them or they tried to read his mind.
Ryloss was standing on top of a building over looking the temple. He was wearing a brown robe complete with hood, the double sided sword in his hand. He watched the Sith and Mandalorians approach the Jedi. Ryloss saw that one of them was Yuunda. All the more reason to go and help them.
Silently, Ryloss jumped from the building, onto a lower one near it. The next jump would bring him to the front gates. But it would be a long one.
Instead, Ryloss waited to see if more help was coming to either side.

He felt it before his saw the Sith, the Force battering against his mental defenses, pushing him down, a wave of fear unlike anything he had faced before. An image passed in front of his eyes, Kain's broken body, floating in a river of blood, only to be replaced by another, more terrible image, Kain as a Sith, his face distorted by hatred, his eyes burning a bright crimson. A weaker mind would have given up, a less trained mind would have lost hope, but he was trained, he was stronger than that and he had faced worse before. Reaching deep within himself he pushed out with the Force, letting its bright light warm him, washing away the effects of the Sith's mental attack.

He opened his eyes to see his adversary approaching, a crimson shaft of light burning brightly in his hands. Luthair pulled out his own lightsaber, though he did not ignite it just yet. Reaching out with the Force he grabbed a broken pillar lying on the ground, both hands rising into the air as he floated the pillar into the air and sent it flying with considerable speed straight at the approaching Sith. The first salvo had been released.

Battle.

A tingling sensation reverberated throughout Avlis' pale skin, it had begun. The stimulation it gave him was unparalleled. They were two powerful beings locked in a fierce conflict, and the essence of simply fighting for your life gave you power. Avlis' amassed pain and anger flowed throughout his veins now, awakened and freed from their iron prison. His emotionless face gave nothing but a mixed flavor of enjoyment and anger.

His grey eyes flashed as he watched the pillar being picked up and hurled towards him. The stone atrocity flung toward him, a minor delay to the Jedi Master's demise. As expected the fear had been well-defended against, for a Jedi Master must be trained for such things. His own Force telekinesis pushed against al'Thor's own, slowing down the massive projectile, and with a two-handed strike he split the gargantuan thing. His push morphed into two pushes in the opposite directions, flinging the stone pieces to opposite sides of the temple, effectively breaking it into many more pieces.

Avlis cackled and raised his free left hand, showing slender colorless fingers raised upward in summoning of the Dark Side. A raging ball of energy quickly formed and intensified at Avlis' fist, and it detonated with incredible speed upon the floor just in front of the Jedi, sending shrapnel and a wave of pressure his way. With that Avlis leaped above the blast, darkness obscuring his form as it's dark tendrils enveloped his features, a dark darting cloud of hate. Landing behind the potentially flung or protected Jedi Master, Avlis brandished his great saber and made a quick, immovable swing.

Drakus remained were he was, waiting for a Jedi green eyes shrouded by the dark eyeless gaze of his helmet went from Galad, to Sato. Smirking a little bit, he was about to say something when he sensed something. Ahhh, so that's were he went the turn coat has come right into his sights. Drakus laughed at the former Sith's trash talk. Did he think it was that easy to get under Drakus' skin? He'd have to try harder then that. Drakus had been watching the area through force sight, he could see them through the force. One was hiding, and he didn't feel so much like a Jedi. But no sith would hide like that, even assassin's showed themselves when their targets are right in front of him.

"Galad, Sato. It seems we have one hiding from us."

He turned his attention to Yuunda, pushing off the pillar. He reached behind him, gripping the hilt of his Sith lightsaber. Igniteing the Crimson blade with a snap hiss. As he stepped up to square off with Yuunda. Taking the Jedi ready stance of Form III

"Sato, you're with me. And as for you Yuunda, you call me a coward? Yet you betray our order and run off to the doomed Jedi? What? couldn't cut it as a crusader? So you turn tail and run to the doomed Jedi? Who is the coward then?"

He gathered the force to him, opening himself up as a conduit for the force. And just to show off, Drakus flared the force out in front of him in a cone shaped shock wave of telekinetic energy and control. Drakus was a master of telekinesis, and it's branch of powers. The shock wave, was enough to push Yuunda back a few feet. And he did it without even moving from his stance.

"You're going to have to try harder to anger me traitor, without the dark side. You can't win."

The battle has begun. Jetting from the rooftop, he landed beside the sith who were engaged in battle. As the massive projectile was severed, fragments of stone flew over Logan's helmet. It seemed the gates had little but few force users guarding the temple. A stream of blaster fire was being thrown in his direction. A squad of temple guards were approaching from the rear of the temple. Taking cover behind a statue, he fired a grenade from his rifle. Their bodies flew as they hit stone pavement.

Kin-Wan decided now would be the right time to step out. The other Sith in the room was now about to engage a Jedi he didn't recognize, but at the moment he didn't care. His still crimson eyes stared at the other Sith at the entrance. Was he right? Was he wrong? Was he not a Jedi? Perhaps, perhaps not. He would solve his crisis of faith and identity once he left this doomed world. He would examine his heart to see if the darkness had stained it, then beg for forgiveness of the sins he was committing. But right now? He was enjoying it. He ignited his verdant blade and called out to the Sith, "Move aside worm. I have need to leave this ruin and you're in my way. I offer you thgis chance, this one chance, to move aside or be torn asunder. I have no qualms about killing you."

With her hair and lightweight robes billowing in the wind, Satoryu's gaze towards Yuunda was momentarily distracted when a massive section of stone was hurled by the Jedi Luthair towards the Sith Avlis. No bothering to exchange snarky idealogical remarks, the conflict had already begun. Flanked by Drakus, Sato stood close behind her unofficial master and friend, in whom she had placed her loyalty and trust, two things that were ultimately foreign to the 15-year-old.

Drakus was not needlessly cruel, he did not let his pupils die, she felt he would protect her. She respected Drakus' degree of moral and restraint, both of which Satoryu herself did not have, especially at a time like this. At the Sith Master's side, the two approached Yuunda, who, according the words exchanged between him and Drakus, had once been a Sith himself.

"This Jedi has stayed behind to give his life defending what is left of his temple, Master. He's no coward, he's just abhorrently foolish."

Satoryu held no particular ill-well against the Jedi, they had never done anything to her. She had, however, experienced enough of the Dark Side to know that their entire philosophy was truly a lie. Her vile upbringing had been engulfed by the Dark Side, she was eternally tainted with no hope of reform. Writhing with arousal and bloodlust, she could restrain her sick anticipation no more. The ghosts of Chaos had guided her here and their powers seethed within her.

She detached her saberstaff from her obi and spun it around with one hand as she ignited the blades. Holding the hilt horizontally in front of her being, she half-twisted her waist with her other hand held away and downwards. She took one last gaze up towards the temple, then to Drakus.

"Let's burn this f-cker down."

The carnage that seems to come from the air itself astounded the young Mandalorian. Before he could even react it was upon him, the din of battle surrounded Delmon like a cloak he could not shake. Drawing his sword from its sheath, he broke his leisured pace and dashed towards the main entrance. Several force users had already entered the fray, rubble already covered the field and one of the many statues lay in pieces against the temple walls. Delmon silently cured himself for not being close enough to witness such a spectacle.

Truth be told he had never seen force users fight one another. Sure he had faced them in the past, but they had only been pups who strayed from their respective orders to seek wealth in the galaxy. They posed little challenge, something the mandalorian hoped to alleviate in the coming battle. Pickings seemed to be scarce however, many of the Jedi who had actually came out to face their opposition had already engaged several Sith, leaving him to move closer to the temple to find a worthy foe.

He had to tread carefully however, although he was out of the way of the on going battle, there was no telling where it could go. The last thing he wanted was to be caught between two force sensitives going at it. He would of course attempt to fight should an occurrence happen, but he wasn't stupid. Surely there were more Jedi hiding in wait to defend their temple. Delmon would have if he had been in their shoes. The thought of abandoning his home seemed so ridiculous it made him let out a light chuckle at the mere thought.

The young Mandalorian would continue his hunt. If nothing else he would take his chances within the temple itself. Being that the Jedi left in such a hurry there was bound to be all sorts of interesting things he could examine.

What Drakus had not been counting on, was Yuunda's own mastery of telekinesis. Holding his blade out in front of him like a plow, he used part of the force he had gathered and the shock wave that Drakus pushed his way dimmed to nothing more then a slight breeze. He smiled at the young Sith's eagerness, she clearly had no regard for her life if she chose him to combat. He decided to take her words literally. Using the force he had been gathering, he lit a ball of fire in his free hand and expanded it to a spear which he then launched at the acolyte. The spear would explode on impact creating a spray of fire.

Keeping his mind clear and focused on the combat in front of him, he gathered himself and using a technique he had learned from his old master, he used the rest of the force he had been gathering and focused it into his legs. Then he sped towards Drakus, using his momentum and the power of his mechanical arm, he delivered a powerful blow to the Sith master in classic Djem So opening style.

Ryloss lifted his hand. In it, he had his Massassi Sword. Past it, he watched Yuunda throw fire and winced. Fire was not good, not good at all. But there was a distraction for him, should he choose to exploit it. And, well, if everything went bad he could just run.
Ryloss turned and walked back about five steps before turning back. He would have to jump.
"No ussse-"
That bloody slur! He thought he'd gotten over it, too!
"-holding it all up..."
There. Ryloss sprinted to the edge of the building and jumped. Using the force, he sailed far over the point where any normal being would have fallen. He was, basically, flying. Except that he couldn't change direction.
He saw the little figures of the Sith, with their red blades, the jedi, with their blue and green, and the Mandalorians, with no blades at all. He went over them all and straight towards the temple. Using the force, he created a wall that stopped him and he fell about thirty feet onto the ground. Just as he did so, he saw Yuunda charged, or jumped, or something... He moved too fast for Ryloss to see right. But he was attacking the male, leaving the female to fight off flames. Ryloss sent a force strike, a very condensed force push, towards the female's left knee. If it connected, it would swipe her leg out from under her. At the same time, he charged forwards, bringing the sword down in a cut that was aimed at her right shoulder. He reasoned that if Yuunda was taking the other man on, then he knew him. Yuunda had been a Sith Crusader. With luck, this one was only an acolyte. Surely Ryloss could take her on.
Well, he surely hoped at any rate.
