Czerka Tech Concepts Database​

Czerka has numerous employees in the R&D Department that work hard to bring the latest Czerka technology and designs to the Galaxy. Many times others submit designs to the company for Czerka to produce. Before Czerka can produce these products they first go through a design phase. Once the Director of R&D has signed off on the basic designs a concept is produced. The concepts are sent up the top of the ladder where the CEO has final say. If a concept is approved a prototype is made and then after testing the final product is produced and distributed throughout the Galaxy.

If you would like to make tech for Czerka, whether you are a member of Czerka or not, please post it here. Nor'baal and I will then critique it and approve or disapprove it. Finally if Czerka has an open "tech slot" Nor'baal will submit to the site tech submissions board for final admin approval.. Regardless of whether Nor'baal or I have seen it before please post all previous tech (unless it has already been approved by Clayton) here. We have decided to do a thread like this for a few reasons. The first is that it is easier on Nor'baal and I to keep track of all the tech and Yay or Nay it. Secondly since Nor'baal now has to submit all Czerka tech this makes it easier on him. IMPORTANT: When you post tech here please use the same template you would for official site tech submissions. Also please don't use any fancy formatting. This is to make it easier for Nor'baal to copy paste.

Maneuverability: For its size the Patrol Craft is quite maneuverable.
Description:
The Deep Space Patrol Craft is the largest ship Czerka currently produces. As a result its production is limited to custom order so as not to strain Czerka's resources. The ship is fairly fast and maneuverable for it size. What is has in speed it sacrifices in armor. and weaponry The Craft is meant for Deep Space exploration and thus has a good sized cargo hold and landing bay to allow for quick and easy exploration and loading of cargo. Its also carries 1 years worth of consumables. The Deep Space Patrol Craft has a medbay but unlike most ships it has a unique feature. The ship has laboratory for testing of various things from creatures to minerals. On non Czerka models this space would either be an extended medbay or crew quarters. The advanced senor and communications array is military grade and important in a vessel such as this.

Well the tech template doesn't have a section for passengers. And really all those you described I would consider passengers. The six crew would be pilot, copilot, navigator, two gunners, and an engineer. Also thanks for catching the escape pod. I could have sworn I had added a few.

Size: Compact pistol

Ammunition Capacity: 7 rounds of 6x38mm ammunition

Description: S01 is a compact slug thrower popular as a secondary weapon among cops due to it's light weight. How ever criminals like it due to the small size allowing them to keep it in a pocket. Though small and unable to penetrate body armour the rounds are deadly vs soft skin targets. The rare S01S is a suppressed version. In all ways the same on the out side internally there are extra buffers and the parts are tighter it comes with a detachable suppressor. Over all it now is no louder than whisperer. This version is custom ordered and is used by mostly those in covert ops. None the less Czerka has allowed a few on the black market where the price is high. Those attempting to convert standard S01's in to S01S's are either doing so under Czerka control or hunted down and delt with, normally with a S01S.

Description: Putting the blast in to compact defence blaster. The phrase marketing though sold the HB1. They where right. Where other hold out blasters are cut down on power to make it small the HB1 went the other way. It can fire only 3 times at one setting of max power. Equal to a heavy blaster pistol. This does mean it packs a punch to both the target and shooter. It is not for grannies and to use as there side arm. How ever it will kill what it hits. For the rest it is small compact and easy to hide. The small size does limit the life span to only 200 shots and when combined with the high price means no government has bought it. But enough sales in the privat market have kept a limted production going.

Type: SMG Blaster

Description: A Compact Carbine it is ultra light and comes with a folding stock to make it even more smaller allowing it be concealed on a person with easy. It is probably one of the shortest Carbines out there but achieves this by being unable to change blast power. It is stuck at one setting. All so it is only as powerful as a blaster pistol. fitting because it is only a tad bigger than a pistol with the stock folded in.

The CMP2 is popular among a wide range people and groups from Special forces, assassins, Body guards, Cops, smugglers, marines to pirates. In fact in many cases have CMP2s fighting CMP2. Though Czerka sees this as a positive since it means the did something right.

Though firing a pistol strength blast the high rate of fire and magazine means it can over whelm even armoured targets with volume of fire. This volume of fire all so compensates for the average accuracy

Intent: To create a cheap but high tech transport for use by factions, governments and PC

Model: CZ WHT01

Size: 13m long, 4m wide 5.5m high

Weight: 23 tons

Armor Rating: front and turret some what resistant to medium sized canons, all round resistant to light cannons and small arms

Shield Rating: na

Propulsion: A Micro cold fusion engine providing power to 8 wheels. Top speed 90kph top speed in water 15kph

Armament/Equipment: twin light blaster canon, 8 dual purpose anti air/anti armour missiles and 8 firing port

Crew: 3(driver, gunner, commander) 20 dismounts

Description: the WHT01 is a high end IFV but built to be cheap. It achieves this but using low cost wheels over repulsion engines using a small engine that though reduces the speed produces a tremendous amount off torque insuring good off road mobility. Of course wheels will never match a land or airspeeder in mobility the Wheels are cheaper and easier to maintain.

Where the WHT01 did not cut corners was in protection. A flat body anti mine system to protected passengers and crew from mines, full on life support for use on hostile worlds or even space, a total of 24 smoke grenades 8 aft, 8 on the turret and 8 up front means the WHT01 can conceal it's self from guided munitions and sight for a brief time. Of course the armour is extremely high grade able to role over many bandit or pirate hold outs with out the paint being scratched.

Fire power was not negated. twin light blaster canons provide a tremendous rate of fire to deal with both ground and air threats. 8 guided missiles are there for high speed air targets and heavy ground targets. The missiles are fire and for get, there cost means the best used for high cost targets. Of course troops in side can fire out with the 8 firing ports and open the 8 top hatches, these hatches swing out wards and act as cover hence the armoured vision slits.

Ergonomics was another area the WHT01 does good at. with clam shell doors left and right, a rear ramp, 8 troop hatches, 1 commanders hatch and one drivers hatch getting in and out fast is easy. In addition to the Life support keeping the interior a nice temperature the WHT01 comes with 2 weeks supplies for 23 for those long range patrols. In addition to the crew all having Day/night, thermal and zoom x6 on there sites all three conceals can do all of the others job. Meaning a crew of 1 could man the WHT01 though not very effectively. The troops all so have access to several Day/Night cameras giving them a slight edge in awareness of the battle field. High end encrypted communication system means it will all ways stay in contacted with friendlies and a location transponder means those friends will know where it is.

Czerka thought governments would buy the WHT01 but with smaller defence budgets they could buy fewer vehicles and faster Land/Air Speeder based troop transports that could cover more ground and more types of ground faster meant only a few WHT01s where bought by governments. But PMC, Corporation's and other such small military groups loved them since they where easy to maintain, well priced and armoured. These groups rarely had to fight in swamps or on mountains where nothing was and they did not have to cover thousands of kilometres so the big weaknesses where not that big and the advantages where more imporataned. Off course this meant a lot of slavers, maurders and pirates captured WHT01 and when combined with black market sales means some times WHT01 vs WHT01 fights took place.

Description: The CZ PT01 is a light weight transport that is cheap and easy to maintain. It,s high speed and fire power make it favourite on more dangerous worlds where it can rapidly reach a hot spot. It.s armour though made of high grade Dura steel is thin and it is not built to go toe to toe with heavy tanks alone. Though it has been used to do that and been successful.

Both the gunner and driver have Day/Night vision and the CZ PT01 comes with standard communication gear though it can be upgraded along with insulation of a nav computer and even a auto pilot.

How ever the protection and low maintenance requements have insured it still used by governments all over the galaxy with either police or military units

top and bottom: some what resistant to light laser cannons. bottom has a double hull to protected against mines.

Shield Rating: Particle shield. The shield will not stop high speed rounds but will detonate larger warheads at a stand of distance. the blast force is not stopped though but it does mean it explodes some distance from the hull weaking the force. The shield can withstand 3 shots regardless of strength before failing and needing a mechanic to get them working again. Since the blast force is not stopped a large enough warhead could still do some damge

Propulsion: Power is provided from power cells that can be recharged well still loaded in to the predator or replaced if it is needed quickly. Propulsion comes from 4 repulsion engines and can propel the predator to speeds of up to 180 kmh.

The combination speed, firepower and carry capacity has led to it becoming a popular AFV across the galaxy. The medium laser canon has a slow rate of fire due to over heating issues but the twin light laser canons can sustain fire for some time. Firing together they can lay down a lot of fire fast.

The predator is made in a few other versions including a unarmed Ambulance, a heavy APC with a heavy repeating blaster and space for 20 combat ready troops, a Anti Air version with a quad light lasers and a artillery version replacing the medium laser with a heavy slug canon. 55 rounds are carried and no dismounts

Intent: The multipurpose mobile shield generator was created to be just that; a multipurpose shield. Because it has multiple protective settings, it can be used for several purposes, beyond the (likely) most obvious purpose of military usage. Selling or marketing it is up to Norb, but there is a relative shortage of tech in this nature. Further, this is not strictly for combative purposes, but has a good variety too.

Power Supply: The multipurpose portable shield generator has eight separate light-mass cores, which work in sync to minimize heat and overall power stress and drainage. It can last many hours before its cells become depleted, which would then either require the cells to be recharged or replaced (which can be easily done from the outside). As it uses light-mass cores, the cells are fairly generic, and thus inexpensive.

Description: The multipurpose portable shield generator is a protective or defensive device designed to create a 5-to-10 meter sphere of safety. It can be powered into three different settings; energy, haptic and protean. The energy setting produces a ray shield to protect from energy, radiation, and other ionized sources. The haptic setting produces a particle shield that protects from physical mass and matter, solid objects and the like. The protean setting produces a hydrostatic shield that repels water while allowing solid objects to pass through.

The energy setting can be used for combat situations, either creating a fortified zone or a medical / treatment zone on battlefields. They can also be used by engineers and mechanics to work in or on machinery or vessels that produce or vent radiation, or in areas, such as asteroids, that may be subjected to radioactive waves.

The haptic setting can be used for safety purposes, keeping individuals or animals out of danger-zones by shielding the pathways. They can also be used as a security measure, such as used to protect items on display from thieving hands, or shielding a sensitive console or terminal. The particle shields can also be used, much like ray shields, to protect breaches in spaceworthy structures until repairs could be made.

The hydrostatic setting can be used for underwater operations, such as working on underwater vessels, underwater facilities, underwater mining operations or other endeavors that might take place beneath oceans or seas.

However, the portable shield generator can only function with one setting active at a time, and must fully shut down before charging and transitioning to another setting. In many cases, this would leave individuals exposed to potentially extreme dangers, thereby making any setting switching largely impractical until the situation it was initially set up for is resolved or passed.
