[Ronan Carduel]

Ronan had been on board his ship with Hailee for only 2 hours and already he didn't know how he was going to make it. He didn't want to take her cuffs off, but she kept pestering him too. Eventually he had just shut and locked the door to his cockpit to keep her from distracting him.

A while later, Ronan docked at a refueling station. He paid extra credits for them to go faster, and he sat down in the cargo hold where Hailee was. There was an awkward silence, and Ronan did not try to fill it.

Hailee was still quite on edge since this change of plans was not what she had hoped for. She wasn't so sure about whether it would have been better if she could have just stayed in that cell, but at least she could walk freely here. When he locked her out, she had some chance to examine his ship and to familiarize herself with it, in case that she needed any information. Of course, there was no simple solution like an escape pot, but at least she learned a few things about his ship and there were definitely ways in which she could manipulate its tech. As Ronan rejoined her, she heard that the ship was being refueled, which could only mean that they had quite some distance to travel until they would reach this foreign planet. Hailee had heard about Moraband before, which is why she was partly aware of its location, but she had no idea where they were at the moment, since she was unconscious for quite some time before they had reached the prison ship. "Sooo", she purposely broke the uncomfortable silence, because she was not only a bit bored, but also curious, "are you planning on keeping me here in the cargo hold? I'm already getting tired and I fear that we might fly for some more time". Her voice sounded slightly annoyed and yet a bit challenging again, her green eyes were locked on his while she was trying to improve her desperate situation.

Ronan blinked when Hailee spoke. Her green eyes once again bore into him. Feeling uncomfortable, he stood up. "You can sleep in one of the crew cabins," he said, pointing down the narrow hall. "There are supplies in there. I think," he said. They had at least a month on this ship if he didn't go to hyperspace, which he wasn't planning on doing. It would be a huge waste of fuel and it wasn't completely necessary, either.

The rooms on this ship were not horrible, but Ronan's VIP suites were significantly nicer. There was another VIP suite, but he thought Hailee shouldn't get too comfortable; she was his prisoner after all.

She knew that she would notice her doing it even now and then but Hailee was just too curious to not enter his mind on a regular base to just dive in and quickly pull out any piece of information that was just floating inside his thoughts. Now she had just learned that she was not the only one feeling a little uneasy and that gave her at least a little bit of satisfaction. She wasn't quite sure about why he had such mixed feelings but it was a start. She could work with uncertainty quite well. The way he reacted at the moment made her even realize that she might be able to charm herself out of this situation, but she needed to be careful with her tries. "Crew cabin? Sounds comfortable enough", she replied shrugging while she turned towards the narrow corridor. She was a little confused about his sudden trust, because why would he be so foolish as to let her into a room far away from the cockpit all by herself? The young woman could think of a hundred ways to make this ship crash within an hour, but she knew that she would risk her own life with such an instance as well. Either way, it was not so clever to try something like that, because Ronan would probably sense her mischief right away and kill her in a blink of an eye and Hailee still clung to her life. She headed for the cabins, expecting him to follow her for now and probably to set up more rules or boundaries, while she decided to gain a few more insides about her captor. "Why are we headed for Moraband? Do you have some unfinished business there?", she asked cautiously.

Ronan followed Hailee down the hall, making sure she didnt cause any trouble. "You are full of questions. Dont push your luck, love," he said, prodding her in the back into the crew quarters. "You are to stay in this room, and try not to destroy it. All escape pods are locked down so even if you left this room you couldnt go anywhere. If you are truly curious about why you are here, you will wait it out. Curiousity killed the cat," even as he said this, his curiosity was growing, although he didnt know what he was curious about- he knew pretty much all there was to know about her- she had been sold to a crime boss by her parents, creating for a not-so-pleasant childhood. She was fiesty, stubborn, nosy, and why was she looking at him like that with those green eyes.

The way he warned her not to push her luck made Hailee feel uneasy on the one hand, because it reminded her of her former boss and other not so pleasant memories, but on the other hand it made her want to do it even more. She was not only curious but starting to feel a little desperate for not knowing what would await at the end of their journey. How long would she be stuck here with him being the only other living soul on this cold ship? She listened to his demands obediently and noded once to signal her understanding, but she couldn't just let it go. "Well, what would you do to me if I would tear this room apart?", she asked curiously with a slightly amused smirk, taking a step in his direction, folding her arms, knowing that she was indeed pushing her luck by provoking him further. She was however extremely curious, because she knew that he was bringing her to Moraband for a reason and she wanted to see what would happen if she would try to overstep the boundaries again. She knew she was playing with fire, but as he just said, curiosity might kill the cat, but this cat was really inquisitive.

Ronan raised an eyebrow. Two could play this game. He took a step forward until he was looking down on her. "Why dont you do it and find out?" he said, his voice a deep rumble. "It would make this month very long," he said softly. He knew she was provoking him and she seemed to enjoy it. He was quite good at provoking people and leaping across boundaries. She wanted to play with fire? So be it.

She sometimes hated herself for being so feisty from time to time, but until now it did not seem as though he might actually hurt her. The tension inside the cabin was growing, but she enjoyed this game way too much than to make it stop already. The smirk still laid on her full lips as he was closing the distance between their bodies. He stood so close that she could feel the heat radiating from his body and that was something she hadn't felt in a long time. "Actually...that sounds quite tempting", she whispered almost a bit lasciviously. She was not actually lying, as she was quite intrigued by this idea. She would be even satisfied already if he would have an uneasy sleep, knowing that she might be plotting something mischievously that night. Would he make her unconscious again? She was a little curious to find out how this fire would spread.

A smirk curled across Ronan's features as he stared down at the girl. If he moved forward a little their bodies would be touching. "Then I will love you to it," he said, reaching out and patting her on the head, specifically because he knew it would infuriate her to be belittled. He backed out of the room and with an overdramatic bow, shut the door and locked it. He knew she could hear the click of the lock from her room and his smirk grew as he sauntered back to his cockpit to wait for the refueling to finish. Tonight looked to be more fun than Ronan had originally thought.

Coward, she thought to herself as he simply fled the situation with another seemingly empty thread and a rude gesture, that made her actually a little furious. He was not taking her seriously and that was a problem. Or maybe not. Maybe it would help her charm her way out of it. Intimidation clearly didn't work on him, so maybe he would start to underestimate her like so many men did before, which would also be an advantage in the end. His bow made her roll her eyes with an amused smirk, but as he stepped through the door, her grin faded, knowing what he had planned. The door closed and clicked instantly and the Padawan knew that it wasn't a smart move to enter that cabin in a first place. She immediately strode to the door, pushed and pulled fiercely, but it didn't move. She was locked up again, but this time her hands were tied and she had little chance to use them properly. But at least she was alone and therefore had quite some time to plot her destruction. She let out a angry growl while she gave the metal door a furious, desperate kick, but it seemed extremely solid. What was she supposed to do now?

A couple hours later, he recalled that Hailee's hands were still cuffed. He knew she was not stronger than him in the Force, so he raised a hand and with the Force, pressed a button that unlocked her cuffs. Almost immediately after, the dock-master gave him a thumbs-up, singaling that everything was good to go. He nodded through the viewport in the cockpit and prepared for launch. Once he was a good distance from the station and had set a course, leaving it to autopilot, he returned to his own quarters. He pulled off his sweaty, dirty robes and tunic until he was laying on his expansive bed, bare-chested. He fell asleep rather quickly; it had been a long day.

Hailee wandered around for a while, ripped some metal from the wall and examined the tech behind it but she didn't yet break anything. She felt exhausted, her body ached and she felt like she could use some sleep. She sat down on the bed and tested the softness of it but since it felt all right, she laid herself down for a few minutes, regaining her strengths. After quite some time her hand cuffs fell off, allowing her to move her arms freely which was a relieve after all that time. She knew that he did it and she felt a little grateful, but she wouldn't tell him that right now. After the ship started to move she stood up again and searched for some fresh clothes but all she could find was a bunch of masculine shirts and jeans, so she simply decided to undress and slip into one of the oversized T-Shirts, which then hung loosely around her torso, almost covering up half of her legs. It was fine for the night, especially if he wouldn't decide to visit her again. As she lay down again, she was trying to enter is thoughts one more time but she soon found out that he was sleeping. Bare-chested. Strangely, that was something she saw and it immediately evoked a strange feeling so that she shook her head and tried to find sleep herself, not trying to focus on those confusing thoughts. She fell into a dreams sleep quite quickly

The next morning (based on time; it was always dark in space) Ronan was in the kitchen, using some supplies to make his breakfast. He was still bare-chested, and since no one was there to see him, he didn't care. After he was well-fed, he sauntered down to Hailee's room. He knocked on the door, barely stopping himself from just opening it. "You still in there, love?" he asked casually. He wondered if she had ever gotten around to destroying the room or if when he let her do it, it wasn't as fun.

She slept pretty well concerning the circumstances, because when she woke up she raised her head a little startled by the sudden knock, which she didn't expect. How long has she been sleeping? She needed a few seconds to process the scene, but all the memories suddenly flooded back in. Yes. She was still locked up, but at least her captor decided to wake her. "Have someone ever told you how funny you are? Quite hilarious, actually", she snapped at him sarcastically, as she rose from her bed and stretched for a second.

Considering that she hadnt told him not to come in, he unlocked the door and swung it open. He was startled for a moment when he discovered she was wearing one of his old shirts. "You haven't destroyed the room," he said lamely after a couple seconds. He quickly built up his mental wall. She did not need to be in his head at the moment.

When she was done stretching she quickly realized that she had not yet put on her pants back again but before she could fix that issue, the door burst open and she stood there literally half-naked. She swallowed hard and tried not to act startled. "Wow. And a gentleman...you're really charming", she responded casually, hinting at the fact that she had not asked him in yet, but she knew that she could have also told him to stay out before this had happened. Nevertheless, he even had the audacity not to turn away now and that made her anger level rise again. Yes, she hadn't destroyed the room, yet, but right now she felt like tearing this whole cabin into pieces.

Ronan raised raised an eyebrow, spun on his heel, and walked back out of the room, shutting it behind him and forgetting to lock it. "You haven't exactly been pleasant either," he retorted through the door, although at this point he could not fault her if she decided to attack him right then and there. He seemed to remember that he still wasn't wearing a shirt, and hastily pulled it on. She hadn't seen too much had she? His torso was riddled with scars and burns that stood out against his tan skin. He cursed himself under his breath and walked down the little hallway to his own room.

As he left, his last words simply bouncing off, she could feel her cheeks blush due to the embarrassment. How could she not have realized it sooner? She silently cursed herself under her breath, pulling her old clothes back on even though she would rather wear new ones. Maybe she could find something with a better fit in a different room, but for now she was left with a bunch of confusing thought. After a moment she noticed that he was also not fully dressed and in his case this might not have actually been a mistake. He went to her cabin, so he must have had some more time to grab some clothes. The image of his naked torso was still present in her mind, but she forced herself to think of something else before he would have the chance to read her mind again. She quickly massaged her temples before she realize that his escape was so fast again, that he might have actually forgotten something important. The door. She sneaked over and pushed, and to her surprise, it actually opened. Cautiously she poked her head into the empty corridor, before she set her first food outside. She was free. At least partly free. No hand-cuffs, no Force-inhibition. Or at least so she thoghts. She started to sneak on into the other direction, the one she did not know and tried to focus on the image of her cabin, so that if he decided to read her mind again, he wouldn't become suspicious that quickly. She had no idea whether this would actually work but it was worth a try.

Ronan changed his clothes and walked out with a stack of clothes he wore as a child that he had thought might fit her. He walked back into the hall just in time to see Hailee creep down the hall. He smirked, all awkwardness forgotten. He decided it couldnt hurt for her to explore a little- everything important was locked down. Meanwhile, he sat down in the cockpit, leaving the door open so he could see Hailee if she happened to walk by. He could feel her presence in the Force moving around slowly and he snickered to himself.

She had no idea where she was going but the corridor soon lead into a dead end. She opened the door to her left, and found a cabin that looked just like her own, the only difference being that it was even more icy in there. Shivering, she turned to leave and found a kitchen after a while, where she immediately helped herself to some food, because she knew that she had to regain her strength if she wanted to escape somehow. She gulped down some protein snacks, not because she felt hungry, but rather because she knew she needed them and as soon as she was finished, she decided to go on with her little tour. Something that piped her curiosity was one of the escape pods, but as he said, they were somehow blocked. She let out an annoyed sigh and knew that she had only two possibilities: Actually destroy something and cause a distraction or to behave and maybe try to gain his trust. Maybe he could negotiate with him in any way, she hadn't lost hope yet. She finished her little stroll and headed for the cockpit, where she was expecting him, but before she reached it, she found another door, leading to a luxurious cabin. Interesting. So he put her into one of those little cabins and he enjoyed such a rather spacious suite with a huge, comfortable looking bed and other conveniences...
