So, while I was down sick today I started thinking about the RP and the plotlines involved therein. I got to wonder if the effects of the SW wars on the general population had ever been explored in depth. I'm not talking about your 'Faction X decimated Faction Y' type things, but how those sort of moves can affect the little guy or the population of a planet.
It was just something that occurred to me, because that seems like a way to flesh out some of the immediate fallout of the large-scale RP events. Like how the mandos got shoved off of their homes, was the relocation and refugee camps ever really gone in depth? What about the prisoners taken from the IK? The release of the Blue Shadow Virus?
That got the idea rolling around in my head about a faction dedicated to relief work, or at least a loose conglomerations of PCs dedicated to the task. I'm not proposing a radical overhaul or somesuch. It just occurred to me that there's a lot of potential for storylines and exploration around the big events. I was wondering if anyone else had considered this or had any thoughts on the matter. Just throwing that out there. Wondering if I'm missing something brutally obvious. That sort of thing.
(I know that this isn't a traditional Star Wars theme, but it still seems to me like something that could be explored.)
