(( All good, sir! ;) Lemmie know if my embellishing is okay? ))
Following out into the 'zoo' of sorts, Lyeric found himself in awe of the sheer size of but the beginnings of this resort. Straying from the obvious path, both Master and Apprentice knew they'd not find what they were looking for without getting lost into the densest parts of each subsection. Yet Lyeric therein noted both the genius and the folly of such a place.
"Master", he temporarily hastened his steps to walk beside Hector, "it seems that each animal is motivated with an environment of constant change." Lyeric pointed out the quartering of each section and subsection and the circle that it made. "They are kept in confinement by the wants and needs of each species. Hunters only hunting what is cohabited in their subsection, rather than using conventional gates or shielding."
The zoo did in fact utilize a magnitude of walls and shielding for its perimeter and safe houses, as well as underground tunneling to reach certain observation towers and hidden research bunkers; but sought a more complex natural approach to the rotation of renewable resources and swelling numbers of the habitat itself. As Lyeric showed his Master of the recent discovery of possible reasons of disturbing complexities and possible outcomes to which brought them to aid, the problems of such a place came to understanding. The entire habitat was made a changing shifting operation, as each link in the chain followed the other. A simulated food chain was created in chronological order of the circle for one to lead to the other, and as each link migrated to another section so would the next follow. Each section was overlapped so that none would see any reason to change course like a herded bunch of cattle, the largest of carnivores at the back of the rotation; a large gap in between the near complete circle to give way to replenishing and recycling vegetation, showing a completely new area upon re-habitation.
Yet levels of precaution were installed, as natural walls and gates made illusion of vast and endless terrain. Lyeric wondered how such harmony was brought to chaos, yet could clearly see how delicate this establishment was to the whims beasts and the scientists who studied them. Apparently, such rotating dividers were no match for the natural move of things as animals of all kinds were no longer in desired order and no one to the better knowledge for it. Such information would have been better shared back at the control center. Lyeric sprang thoughts of foul play, yet gave them no voice. He wondered if the super predators were even within the confines of the perimeter anymore. They would soon find out, as some noises broke their step; a number of noises sounded up ahead, not big enough to be a rancor. Lyeric was a bit calmed by the thought, though he still stayed close to Hector as a shadow clinging to feet.
