Uobi sat on his chair and serving up some simple drink at the jumping ginger late in the day while waiting for a girl he was told might come for some help. The place was a pretty clean and down to earth environment which was not fancy at all but served expert drinks due to Uobi’s great skill. The place had very few costumers minding their own business while the lights where cut to low light to fit the time.

“that Roy better not be wasting my time, he has always had the weak spot for girls” Uobi said to himself before turning to meet his service droid “TIF, you got everything ready for the pack that is going to be delivered?” Uobi asked his droid who rolled over quickly “don’t worry sir, everything is under control. I am sure that boy knows what he is doing, he is a Jedi now after all.” She giggled before going back to the kitchen to get the food ready. Hoping for the best for his adopted son, Uobi looked down with a grunt while keeping his eye out for any girl that came in “I am really hoping you are sure about what you are doing kid…” the old sullustan said while looking at the sun’s reflection disappearing from the buildings in front.

Jason Isaac stared blankly at his gunship's multiple displays for hours while docked. He didn't know what to do. He felt tahat he had lost everything. His wife, his job, his sanity. What could he do? After spending a while contemplating this, Jason decided to go drink away his misery. He opened the cockpit of the Gunship, stepped down, and began making his way out of the small dock. Surprisingly, it felt good for him to even think about trying to get his mind off things. This good feeling disappeared as quickly as it surfaced; guilt taking its place. Slowly he made his way to a place by the name of the Jumping Ginger.

Jason walked in, slightly dragging his feet, a look in his eye of deep thought, and an expression of slight despair across his face. He walked over to a booth near the corner of the building, sat himself down, and smiled to the bartender as he waved.

The old sullustan herd the little bell sound as the slide doors opened to show a shambling corpse of a man, it brought him grief at how often his type would come. Waving back at the newcomer, he pressed some buttons on the bar before climbing down from his stool to walk around the bar and go attend to the man “welcome good sir, what would you like to order for today? We got a vast selection of drinks and mixes all done by me. We also got a hearty and delicious menu” Uobi said while holding the note pad on hand. Seeing how deep in grief he was, Uobi thought he needed a good and warm talk to see what is wrong and fix what needed to be fixed.

The Jumping Ginger? out of all names the owner choose to name his cantina The Jumping Ginger? Carud downed his last bit of dark ale as he came to a stop in front of the cantina on his speeder bike, he could use another drink and perhaps a moment to think. Sometimes he thought about his old gang, and how they betrayed him. "I left the gang after the gang left me.''

Dressed in his black & Grey Mandalorian armor he stood still for a minute observing the bar. It must have been new there was not any blood stains yet. He walked inside the cantina with his back straight and his eyes immediately fixed on the bartender, A look of sorriness was all over Carud's face. He nodded at the bartender before making his way over to an empty booth on the other side of the room in a small dark corner.

TIF peeked her head out of the kitchen and internally smiled when she saw the mandolorian come in to sit by his lonesome. Hoping this tough guy played nice, the she-droid rolled out of the kitchen and over to the mandolorian with a notepad to select what he wanted to eat if anything. “hiya sugar, what would you want to eat today?” she asked with a Bronx accent implanted on her just for fun by old man Uobi. The droid was a modified dual action service droid that also doubled as a protocol droid and could speak mando’a if he would prefer it.

He sat up lifting his elbows off the table as a droid came and dropped a data-pad off at his table, by the looks of it she must have been the kitchen droid as she then requested to take his order.

''Just a brown ale.'' he said in a deep tone not really in the mood for conversational talk. Earlier he had to kill someone so it was not all nice and dandy for him at all, he just wanted to relax and enjoy his alone without any trouble at all.

TIF did not mind his way of acting, he was in fact the nicest guy she ever met that looked like him; all rough and murderous at the first sign of aggravation. Uobi in the other hand was very worry of the mandolorians with their reputation of coming to firsts or blaster fire at challenge. Nodding at his simple order, she nodded before winking at him playfully “coming right up sugar” she said simply, enjoying the expressions people had when she played the flirt waitress. Very soon she came back with a large glass of brown ale “here you go sweety” she simply said before rolling away.

Jason smiled at the Bartender warmly. It was nice to have some contact with someone who wasn't interrogating you. He spoke up; his voice was raspy at first but after a moment it cleared.

"Well, do you have any mixed drinks with whiskey?..." He paused for a moment, losing touch of what he was doing... "Oh and do you have any hot dishes? Soup maybe?"

He felt that a warm soup or chowder would feel nice. He hadn't had any real food in a long while.

Uobi frowned at how bad he looked before placing a healthy soup for order in the pad wile placing another order of whisky with lemon “you’re a mess lad, what happened, come to the bar with me so we can talk while I fix you the drink” he said, not wanting to give him something too strong to mix with the whisky. The soup TIF was making him was something that would put nutrients back on that body, something a mother would give to a sick child or in this case, a sick man.

Most of the time Jason didn't really like sharing his problems with others but maybe, right now, it could help relieve a little stress. After a quick look around to see how few people were in the bar, Jason nodded to Uobi as he stood up, waiting to follow him.

"Sure... I don't really know what to say though."

This was only half true; his mind was a mess. The past few weeks had been such a blur he didn't really know what happened and in what order. His wife was faded away in his memory but yet, seemed to be right in front of him. It was like his mind was blocking himself from a memory but all of the feelings of it were still felt. He knew, but at the same time, he didn't. He followed Uobi with a troubled look and sat down, wiping his hand down his face as if he had just woken up.

“Ok, now tell me everything you want. Let loose the troubles that bother you, I know all too well the face you got” Uobi said while looking at him right in the eyes, good bar tenders where known to be good advisors for their costumers and Uobi was going to honor that claim.

He downed his last bit of ale slamming the glass back onto the table, it was just another one of those days. He propped his elbows back onto the table wondering why everything was so quiet. The quietness would not last long as this was new cantina starting out. He put some credits onto the table for the TIF droid when it returns. He thought maybe he would get another ale but he wanted to stay sane in case anything popped off.

TIF came back with a small glass of water for him so that he could stay sober while drinking as much as he could pay for “do you want some water to pace yourself hun?” she asked him while bowing to him when she saw the credits before taking them “thank you sir, we are happy to serve” she said before noticing Uobi was back at the bar. With one last nod, she went back to the kitchen, letting Uobi deal with the alcoholic requests.

He looked to his left at the waiter who had offered him a glass of water, now he was getting really annoyed as he just wanted to be alone. He spoke to TIF in a more darker tone not trying to sound mean but probably did.

'' No, cant you see Im trying to relax. Lets see you go out and try to kill five people with just one blaster and a toothpick.'' He turned back in front of him then back to the droid. ''Matter fact Ill take that.'' he snatched the glass of water downing it in seconds before thrusting the glass back into the droid's hand. He gave a half smirk and burped before resting his elbows back onto the table.

If TIF were a real human, she would express shock and a little bit of fear before getting the massage. Nodding to his request and sending an Email to Uobi that the mando wanted to be alone and undisturbed, she bowed again in respect before returning to the kitchen. To those who been to several cantinas and looked at the bar tenders, one would immediately see that Uobi was the type to be both professional and helpful type of bartender who had pride in his down to earth cantina.

{OOC: Ok so lets start the new posting order now. I'll start, Roy you're next, then Kendale.}

Jason spent a moment in thought; recalling the beginning of this whole mess...

"Well," Jason started, "I suppose it started about... well I'm not exactly sure when..."

He began to stumble in through his thoughts. He truly had no idea how long ago it was when he sent his wife on the Ishikur. He supposed that it might've been a few months.

"I think it was about 2 months ago... Anyway, my wife, Sarah is her name, she was hired as a Medical chief aboard the Ishikur for Aspire... Thats who we work fo-... thats who we worked for."

He was legitimately stressed out. He had no idea how to start this kind of conversation...

"The Ishikur was a research and recovery vessel sent to find an ancient artifact that predates the Republic itself. I thought it would be a good opportunity for Sarah to show her leadership skills so I encouraged her to go..." His voice kind of trailed off after that, until the point when he stopped talking all together.

He felt a the serpent that was guilt, coil around his heart and mind, gripping tighter and tighter. He... It... it was his fault, his fault that she was dead. Jason let his head drop to his arms. He remembered now, she was dead, she was gone, and it was his fault. Losing a grip on his emotions he silently let a couple of tears out before recovering and looking back up to the bartender, barely whispering...

"... Its my fault she died... my fault..."

Roy had once came in talking like a real Jedi a few days ago so maybe Uobi could try and tap onto the old Jedi wisdom tough he was nothing near a Jedi. Leaning over to place his hand on the poor man’s shoulder while trying to say something that would worth something “you can’t say that, how would you two know that the place was dangerous? You are not to blame at all for her death” Uobi said while trying to think of something else to say “she loved archeology did she not? We all know that the things worth doing are the most dangerous so I guess she died doing what she loved to do” he said, poring the man another glass of whisky.

All he wanted now was to go back to his home on Coruscant but he still had a mission to complete and he would finish that. Just a few days ago he finally got revenge on Huno, a member who was once apart of a deadly gang he was in who was now ten feet under. He lowered his head drifting off into a memory.

A man dressed in a heavy dark armor was standing next to a younger looking Carud who was wearing a grey & black tunic. Carud had combed jet black hair with a slight innocent look to him. The man talking to him was Huno. '' Look Carud I know you are a Mandalorian and we accept that but you cant go running around here like you own the place.'' spoke huno who seemed to be angry.

Carud looking off into the huge desert on Tattoine he did not turn to look at Huno as he spoke he sighed clearing his throat. '' Lets get one thing straight Huno you do not run me I run myself I joined this gang for me not you''. He turned to face Huno as Huno did the same. A moment of silence came upon them as sand dust blew past them rapidly. ''Im leaving the gang soon, I no longer will be of assistance to you.''

Carud opened his eyes forgetting a second that he was still in the bar. He coughed looking around for the TIF droid.

Without conscious thought, Jason continued whilst staring blankly at the counter...

"She's dead... No she can't be... I saw her only yest-..."

Jason forced himself back to reality. Embarrassed, he nodded to the bartender quietly, not actually realizing that he had been saying anything. Shortly after, he eyed his glass of whiskey, took a large swig, and rested his chin in the palm of his head after he had made sure that he had put the glass exactly back where it was. Then, as if out of the blue, his demeanor changed. With a sigh he continued to talk to Uobi...

"I'm sorry, my name is Jason Isaac. I didn't catch yours yet?"

“My name is Uobi and you don’t have to be sorry” Uobi said wile leaning back on the stool before seeing the mandolorian choking on his water. “Hold on, TIF, the mando needs help so give him a hand” Uobi called out before looking back at the man in front of him. “My adopted son us a Jedi now, he has become all philosophical on me but I believe him, he has told me that those we love and die never really leave you and that their always around you as part of the force” Uobi said, even questioning himself but he knew the Jedi had a better sense of things than most did.

TIF quickly rolled over to see what the mandolorian needed, seeing he was having some problem with the water she gave him, maybe it went down the wrong hole going down. not being exactly knowledgably on how to deal with this kind of problem, she thought the coughing would just expel the water from his lunges but she stayed to help him anyways.
