Open The Korriban Patricide

An idea sprung to mind. "There are transports often coming and going from Korriban. Perhaps one of them is heading to Dathomir next. Cargo haulers bring regular shipments of foodstuffs, equipment, vehicles- the types of things that the Academy requires. They would be large enough to hold a small ship too. We can coerce one of the pilots to load your ship to bring it and us to Dathomir. This way your ship wouldn't be stuck here on Korriban, see?"

Verse nodded. "That is a very good idea," she said with appraisal. "Would you like to leave now?"

Alicia nodded and leaned away from the balcony. "I will meet you at the entrance then."

Turning away from Verse she disappeared around the corner to return to her room. She studied it for a final time while searching her feelings. There was no nostalgia for the place. No sense that she would miss being here. She would not miss the constant state of having to be alert so that you were not assassinated in the night by a rival student. Certainly she wouldn't miss the lessons given to her by Dylus or the other instructors here.

Alicia knew that there had been other worlds then Kalist before being taken to Korriban. The vivid descriptions of Chandrila, Hanna City and the assortment of colours, textures- the fact that you could go outside at any point of the day- these were the things that had helped her survive in the Deep Core. When Dylus explained where they were going the initial excitement gave way when she realised Korriban was another desert. Colder then Kalist. Stranger. But similar enough to Kalist that she despised the planet for that main reason.

As she packed her belongings- a change of clothes, her Lightsaber, comlink, and smaller necessities- Alicia turned to leave the room without hesitating. She passed people as she made her way to the entrance. Avoiding stares and ignoring those who tried to get her attention.

Alicia was done with Korriban.
