The fifth was hiding himself. He was on the edifice, atop it, hidden in a crevice. There were many here. He would be ok for now...

Hauldus was impressed. This nameless had taken down four within two and a half hours. The only one faster was Master Zamiel himself. He continued to watch, enthralled.

Cassarah had located the fifth, but she could not pinpoint where he was. He was above her somewhere. She did not know where. She searched for about fifteen minutes before she located him. He had an advantage though and she did not.

He kept hidden in the crevice, still and silent. The code was being repeated over and over in his head. He kept his eyes open, ever ready.

Cassarah jumped up into the crevice where he was. She stabbed him quickly and did a backflip off the crevice again. All five were 'dead'

Hauldus grabbed her with the force, and pulled her to him, standing her before him. ''Very good. Now, i will teach you how to hide your force signature, so that if anyone uses your force presence to find you, they won't. Feel the force flowing inside you, and form a dam. Cut it off with your mind.

Cassarah closed her eyes and 'saw' the Force all around her. She focused on her connection with it and cut it off. It had stopped flowing around, but she knew it was still there.

It seemed like it would be hard, but it really was not. It was like turning off and on a light. It was there then it was gone.

Hauldus watched as she went from sensetive to hidden. Hauldus knew it was time to move on, to the most improtant stage: The forging of the ritual blade. He spet away the chalk to make a path for himself, waving his hand in an indication to follow. He entered a room filled with blocks of metal, gems, forges anvils, and other materials for forging.

Cassarah followed him, silently, but once they entered the room she left out a small gasp. She knew what she was going to have to do and it scared her.

He turned to her. There was no chalk here. Only a grey floor, symbolising how close she was to joining Hauldus as a Katyen. ''I see you have guessed at what you must do: The Tanren, our second most important ritual and rite of passage.'' He walked over to the desk, and placed his own blade, and the datapad onto the table, projecting the symbol she had made through the force. He pointed to the base of the blade, showing a symbol of swirling lines. ''That must be placed on. Some also choose to enscribe the code. I did so on the sheath.'' He then indicated the blocks of metal above the desk, each with a label. ''Each metal is different, and you must alloy it with the metal over there to make your weapon force receptive.'' He then pointed to the leathers, the gems and the tools. ''The blade is yours, and must be forged in your own blood. When it is being heated and cooled, you must drip blood onto it, whilst chanting the code. I will be here for any questions.'' Hauldus stood back, watching for what metal she would choose...

Cassarah looked at the pattern then lifted the sleeve on her right arm to reveal her wrist. She had unconsciously designed the symbol that was tattooed on her right wrist. It was part of her. It was her mark. It would now be on her blade as well, forever inflicting her mark on her victims. Just another thing to thank her horrible parents for. If they only knew what she would have turned out to be. She smiled, because they would never expect this. Instead of picking a metal, she knew which she would chose though, she turned to Hauldus. Her parents had also kept what the meaning of her tattoo meant hidden, but perhaps Hauldus knew.

"Do you have any idea what this symbol means?"

((remember you're making a shortsword. In case i didn't mention. A blade about 1 and a quarter feet long...))

''It is an odd symbol, though it is familiar to me...'' Hauldus thought back to his training, under Lord Zamiel himself. ''Of course! It is the mark on Zamiel's blade too. He told me it was the symbol of 'the ghost' in an ancient language he found in a Sith catacomb, where he learned all of his forgotten lore.''

OOC: I know how long a short sword is. I read way too many fantasy books.

She looked at her wrist again. She had been tattooed before she could remember.

"So why would my parents tattoo it on me when I was a toddler?"

((Juuuuust checking))

Hauldus took her wrist, and esamined the symbol. He looked up at her. ''Who knows? Maybe your parents were Sith, or archaeologists? Or, as with many symbols, it trickled from that language, and became a popular symbol for something, though that is unlikely... Perhaps the force guided their hands that day...'' He let the thought hang.

Cassarah rolled her sleeve back down. She could not keep the hate out of her voice as the next words came out.

"They were Jedi"

She turned and headed back over to the tables. She immediately went for a Coruscanti metal that was not mined until the Sith had taken over the planet. She had never made a blade before so she was unsure what to do now that she had her metal chosen

Hauldus decided not to persue, as doing so would go against the rules placed. Maybe when she was Katyen... ''Well then be glad the dark side guided them that day.'' He said, walking over to the desk, carrying a bowl, and a blade with runes stamped in. ''You'll need to melt that with the metal there, dripping blood in as you do so, chanting the code. Use the furnace. However, first, you must make the mould to pour the liquid metal into. Sketch the design onto these two ceramic blocks. It is my job as trainer to cut them out into a mould.'' He pointed to the blocks on the table, about two feet long.

Cassarah nodded. Most of the nameless probably had to look at their design every few seconds, but not her. The design would forever be indented on her wrist, her mind, her heart, and now her blade. She took a while to sketch it out. She wanted it to be perfect. When she was done she stepped away from the blocks and looked at Hauldus. She was pleased. It would be the length of the blade when it was done.

''Excellent.'' Hauldus floated them before him, and cut away using the force. Layers of stone floated off, cut by sheer mental power. Hauldus placed them back down, the indents in the shape of her sword made. ''Now, melt the metals, with the blood. Don't open an artery, we can't have you dying...'' He handed her the bowl and knife.

She let out a small gulp. It was not easy to melt the metals and let the blood fall. It was not really hard either. She had decided to cut her finger. She had two reasons for this choice. One of them was the fact that it hurt more then if she cut her arm and the second was that it did not bleed that much, just enough.

When she was down she put her finger in her mouth and looked at Hauldus. She knew that the bleeding would have to stop before the went on.

''The metal must be poured into the mould now.'' Hauldus replied. ''I would leave the wound. More blood will be needed later.'' He looked at the molten metal in the pot, soon to become a deadly weapon. He took the knife from her, cleaned it, and cut his palm. Blood dribbled into the liquid, and he muttered the code, closing his eyes. He opened his eyes when he was finished, and turned to her, indicating for her to pour out the metal.

She poured the metal into the mold. She recited the code again in her head. She was not sure if she should, but she figured it could not hurt.
