Hauldus spoke telepathically. Not just in your head, say it out too. You need to add blood again, and don't show pain this time. He looked at her, a stern expression. Pain would not ruin this one's career. She had prospects as the Mirehn of shadow, the one who sat to the right of Zamiel, with the mirehn of the blades opposite.

Cassarah stopped pouring. She took the knife again, but this time went for her palm like he had. It hurt. She wanted to express the pain, but she did not allow herself. She started to pour the metal into the mold and held her bleeding hand over it again. While bleeding and pouring she still managed to recite the code. She liked being a women at times like this.

''Now, leave it to cool. During this time, gather materials for the handle and sheath. Go and find ones that will fit the blade you plan to create.'' He pointed to the boxes and racks of wood, leather, thread, gems, nuts, bolts and screws.

She came back with an armful of materials. She was very excited about making this. She had black leather, thread, and gems when she came back to stand by Hauldus.

''Excellent. The sword is cool enough for hammering over the anvil. Grab it with the force, and place it upon the anvil, and beat it.'' He took the materials from her, placing them upon the desk neatly through the force.

Cassarah did as she was told and moved the sword over to the anvil. She picked up a hammer and started to pound on it. She made it so the edges were thin and it was slightly thicker in center. She liked it that way, but who knew if Hauldus would approve or not.

Hauldus tapped her when she finished. ''Dip it in the cool water, and then we wrap the handle in the materials you chose.''

Cassarah took her sword and brought it over to the water. She dipped it in carefully then brought it over to a table where he had put her supplies. She wrapped the handle in thread first then wrapped it with several layers of leather. She liked it. It was simple and so was she.

''Now, you must add your symbol and any other inscriptions. Your symbol must go at the base of the blade, by the handle. There is no restrciction on the others. Use the force to make the inscription.'' Hauldus instructed.

She focused on the sword. It was like writing on metal the way she was using it to inscribe the Akegata code below the hilt. She thought that is was fitting to have the code there.

Hauldus nodded sagely. ''Now. The final stage of the forging.'' Hauldus picked up the blade through the force, and rotated it. He lifted his hand, and lightning sprang forth, caresing the blade. After, he placed the blade down. It glowed with a new shine. ''It is complete. Now, there is but one ritual to complete beofre you rise to Katyen. Go to your room. You will be summoned shortly.'' Hauldus turned, and left the room. He had to make his bets...

Cassarah was very excited. She just nodded and smiled. When she got back to her room she sat on her bed and waited.

The ring was quiet. The floor was uncleaned, and the black marble was a dark red, due to the blood spilled there. Zamiel sat in the box, the 5 Mirehn below, on a gantry, standing, long black robes falling to the ground. They wore their wide-brimmed hats, casting shadows over their eyes and faces. Hauldus stood at the centre, bowed from the waist, hands to his sides, one beside him did likewise. The trainer of the boy that his nameless shared a room with.

''Summon them, Katyen Hauldus and Katyen Bogou. Summon them to the ring for their Shik' Ravah.'' Zamiel whispered, his voice spreading throughout the room. Both bowed, and left, going to the room of the two nameless, about to enter the most important ritual of their lives. And for one, the last.

Cassarah bowed her head when Hauldus walked in. She knew the time had come for her final ritual.

Both Katyen nodded to their nameless, and both led them to the ring. It was already filled with Akegata, all silent, knowing the improtance of this event. Zamiel rose to speak.
''You two are about to enter the Shik'Ravah. Only one will come out. The other will die, falling into the abyss. The other will stay with us, stepping the precipice above the abyss. To both of you, i wish good luck.''

Hauldus left the ring, with the other Katyen teacher. They took their reserved ringside seats, and watched as the Mirehn of the ring raised a hand. ''GO!'' He yelled, and his hand dropped.

((Am I allowed to use my sword and the force? Or it is hand to hand?))

((You use whatever means necessary))

The other nameless, Bjorgen, drew his ritual blade. He swung it, reveling in the lightness of it, and the dark metal it was forged of. He crouched, circling the girl. He didn't know her name. He never would, for she would die.

Cassarah did the same. Her blade was much better then his, in her opinion.

She stood there waiting for him to attack. She was better at defense the offense.

The nameless dropped tot he floor, and sprung, just to the right of Cassarah, his blade held out to the side just to cut the neck. The dark blade shone dully as the light played off it, a jagged symbol set at the base ofthe blade.

Cassarah easily side stepped the boy. She brought her sword up and pushed his away. She shifted her weight and brought her leg up and kicked him in the chest. As he stumbled back she grabbed him through the Force and pulled him toward her, but she stepped over and he kept going.
