" You better not be lying to me mate!" Ares said as he knelt down and pressed his heavy blaster closer to the man's skull. It had already been touching the slavers skin, but now it was indented deeply into the soft tissue.

" Were both trucks sent there?! Are the females there too?!" The armored man's patience was already run thin by thr situation. Having a slaver give him very short and indirect answers only added fuel to the fire. Ares was tempted just to shoot the injured man then and there, and then shoot his accomplice, but he really needed the information. Worry had already begun to mix in with the anger that gripped his heart.

“Both” nodded the hostage, “Yes.” his eyes locked on the emotionless visage of Ares Visor.

“Please! He’s telling the truth!” called his accomplice.

“It is just a job, We’re not criminals!” he insisted desperately from his binds.

" You became a criminal the second you agreed to help those filthy slavers. Death has been sealed for you. Even more so now......since my wife is one of the females in your slave group!" The anger inside Ares grew as he spoke, his last sentence ending with a blaster shot ringing out over the desert sand. A second gun rang out, this time removing a large portion of the head of the man Shawn was holding.

The armored hunter holstered his blaster before walking away. He was done with the scene infront of him, he just wanted to get to Anchor Head and find his wife. The worry in his gut was growing by the second.

" Ashes? Gets the engines spooled up. I want to be in Anchor Head in less than 15 minutes. "

Ashes prepared the ship with her heart in her mouth, she quickly nodded and set the course, eager to leave the fresh blood shed behind.

We’ll be there in ten…” she said to herself.

-----------------------------------------

Evie Snarled as a tall man of her own species reached to caress her cheek- he drew his hand back quickly as her jaws snapped and laughed nervously, His taught dark skin shimmering with sweat from the humidity of the warehouse’ thick walls.

It hadn’t taken long for the slave’s captors to begin their sales, from what the bounty huntress could tell she was amongst the excess- Only three buyers had been permitted to view them which implied Miss Dagger had plans for the lot and would only allow them a limited few for their means.

“Lovely lips,” the sallow cheeked Zabrak’s Balosar associate
commented.

“lovely hips but one hell of a sharp tongue.”

He patted the side of the gold- eyed female’s head roughly and she pulled away with a sneer. Beside her stutters flashed her a look of warning, elbowing her with cuffed hands as a reminder of her position.

The Balosar held out his hand for the horned man’s viewing- a palm of dried blood from Stasha’s head wound.

“No obedience.”

“Personality will cost you but my looks are for free-” Interjected their topic.

“You couldn’t afford me anyway.”

They moved on and stutters slouched, throwing back her head with a groan and an unsteady mumble of sorrowful sounding twi’leki.

Evie turned to her, her eyes trailing down to the young woman’s stomach- where her hand appeared to be most often preoccupied. Stutters took notice.

“My baby isn’t going to ever meet-”

“Oh!” Exclaimed the Zabrak, shaking her head as if stung.

“Mother of mercy…You can’t be serious-”

She paused, the mock lethan entered the room and summoned the three potential buyers with a wave of her hand, Evie watched with a scowl. As much as she hated to admit it, she was in a pinch- one she couldn’t hope to escape on her own…then again it was personal, she wouldn’t leave stutters- even if the opportunity for her escape arose her conscience wouldn’t allow it- especially with the new revelation.

“Stutters…” she said softly.

“w-what?” responded the rutian.

“How do you say ‘ This is screwed’ in twi’lek?”

The twi’lek squinted.

“S-screwed…? This is new word for me.”

“Just tell me the strongest twi’leki curse you know,” Said Evie.

“I’ll work with it.”

Her eyes met with a bearded human in the salvers wake she her thoughts we’re quickly stolen.

“Ares…”

She closed her eyes and let the soothing red of the hot light pierce its smooth lids.

Warmth enveloped her and she grew at ease.

All it took was a reminder.

The rumbling of The Precious Prides engines sounded distant to Ares as he stared motionless out the main viewscreen. His mind was elsewhere, taken back by the very ship he now traveled in. It was, after all, the home he had shared with Stasha for so many years. Where they had raised Ashes to become a fine young woman. It put everything into persepctive for him, made him feel how dangerously important the task at hand was. For all he knew, his wife could have been already dead, lying face down in a heap of so many other bodies.

The thought sent shivers up bounty hunters spine. It was the first time he had ever truly felt fear since he reformed himself outside that cantina all those years ago.

Ares did his best to keep it all in, reverting back to basic protocol for the majority of his actions. He said nothing as his ship touched down. Quickly and somewhat mechanical like, Ares hugged Ashes.

" Stay with the ship Ashes....." He paused long and hard, looking at Ashes through his visor as if it was the last time he ever would. " I'm not gonna loose you too."

Ares did not speak again for a time, not when he turned and left the ship, nor when he payed the dock master to keep his ship on the ground. He only spoke again when he came to the first cantina. Stopping at the bar with his blaster pistol already in hand. It found itself pointing at a finely dressed man with two newly bought slaves, still wearing the old tattered clothes and shackles.

" Where did you buy them?.....And dont lie to me. Im not in a good mood."

Shawn sat quietly on the way makeing sure his wepons were in working order, and when he ws satisfied that they were he took out the picture of his familly, and thought to himself, 'not so easy to keep a level head when your familly is in danger, or at the lose of some one is it Ares?' Shwan shoock his head to clearing his head of the thought, and followed Ares out, poketing the picture. Shwan keept the thoughts of how ironic the sittuation is that not to long ago Ares and Stasha were on him for being bitter about the loss of his familly, and how he was acting sure he was puting the blame on Ares but he was angry. But when Ares started questionning the man Shawn accidentally let slip, "how ironic this is." Shawn quickly shut his mouth at the slip, and had a sorowful look in his eyes for blurting out something so stupid at a time like this.

Ashes Lekku’d head followed her father as he departed, her hand sliding from his own as his distance increased. She then stayed silent as Shawn to departed before making her move. Assembling her long nosed blaster from her forgotten pack. She glanced behind her subtly before holstering it at her garter.

Vahs ka Ryma'at, Haoy.” she said softly.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The wealthy gentlemen threw up his hands almost instantaneously as Ares’ blaster introduced itself. His two women pulled back nervously from his company and exchanged looks of alarm.

“whoa!” exclaimed the Zabrak with a lean. Dark complexion.

“Bought them fair and square!” he laughed, blotting his brow of moisture with a handkerchief.

A Pale purple twi’lek at his side continued to devour a meaty treat from his plate and muttered a statement to her blue counterpart before her continued, regarding the blaster’s nose with discontent.

“Very…high end source, Banshi Dagger is back- She doesn’t sell to just anyone- but you can hit up the rodian down at the market, He’ll hook you up.”

A shot rang out, but not towards the zabrak and his slaves. It was with Ares second pistol, aimed towards Shawn's left leg. The armored hunter was going to use his accomplice as an example this time, to show the slave owner what might happen. Ares felt it was the very least he could do to Shawn, his words were uncalled for, and the hunter thought he needed to be taught a lesson in manners.

" Unless you want that to happen to you....you'll be straight with me. What direction is the market?" Ares had already holstered his other pistol before he began speaking againm being sure to keep an eye on Shawn just incase he decided to retaliate.

the shot pinged off his armors leg, Shawn looked at Ares with mild contempt for being a hypocrite but kept his feelings in check, and stood there quiet.

The Zabrak pointed with a limp wrist towards the door.

“North side of town.” he said throatily.

“Near hanger 11.”

He was glad to be at a bar, he suddenly had a mighty thirst for alcohol.

--------------------------

Mi Ryma…” A soft voice interjected to a Lethan who was holding a conversation with herself.

Ashes had arrived and she came to the side of the woman with her face full of certainty, speaking quickly with great urgency to the freshly received slave outside of a nearby home.

She began to describe the Zabrak she sought with great detail.

“Torr?” questioned the Yellow woman, gesturing towards her eyes:

“Hirani-Passik?”

Ashes nodded happily.

“That’s her! Arni!” she clasped the hands of her informant who’s master emerged with an expression of irritation.

“hey!” he growled.

“Olgkru Zabrak,” continued the slave hurriedly as the human neared and shooed off her navy sister.

“Pika-Kocceille Twi'lek-” she shouted over her shoulder as she was forced to depart, straining with the foreign words.

“Alkin! Dagger!”

Ashes watched the pair depart- Dagger, she had already known WHO was resonsible...she simply lacked directions.

Tatooine was a big place, she had never felt so small- then again, other emotions were stirring that left her with something larger: anger.

Pausing for a moment, Ares lowered his heavy pistol. It found itself into its holster before the bounty hunter even began to speak.

" Ill be on my way then....." The armored man turned to leave, stopping after a few paces past Shawn.

" You take good care of those new aquaintences of yours, or ill be back for you....."

With that said, Ares quietly left the cantina. As always he didnt look to see if Shawn was following him, it was something that didnt need to be said. The only time the armored hunter stopped was to check a couple signs and find his position in anchorhead in relation to his destination. When he was sure he knew exactly were he was, Ares took no time getting to hanger 11. It was down to simply finding the rodian in question.

" Shawn, look for a rodian that looks like hes hiding something. I know thats hard due to the fact that most of them look that way. But look none the less. " Ares simply melded into the crowd after speaking. Shawn had been pissing him off more than usual that day, but he knew that the fellow BHG member would get the job done if he could.

Shawn followed Ares out of the cantina and figured he had better keep a tight lid on his lip for the fact it wasn’t hard to have a loved one in danger, and he knew it was even worse if you lose them.

Shawn looked through some of the stalls not to draw any attention as he looked, for the Rodian in question. Taking note of a few blasters, and an interesting power source that was on sale. Eventually he found one on the other side of the hanger at the opposite entrance looking rather nervous.

Ares I think I have him west hanger entrance you should take him I’ll keep an eye on him he seems to be alone over.”

Stasha grew weak, her head felt heavy and dipped towards her chest- the pale flesh of her generous endowments delicately swelling with her breath.

The blood at the base of her skull had clotted and grown sticky but her body ached and her resolve had weakened- every moment a new plot slipped into her consciousness - a plausible way for her to escape, but each had one universal flaw: She would have to abandon the twi’leks.

Clasping her fist together , wrist bound she squeezed her palm tight around her opposite and leaned back.

“Stutters‘ ” whimpers filled the air with the soft rumblings of busy lips and seven others quietly abided with the awkward near-silence and the safety of the huntress’ company. It wasn’t as though her beaten presence commanded power- but the familiarity put them at ease.

“Please stop it.” Evie said in near whisper and the rutian ceased upon the order.

The alien tone of near pleading raised the lekku of the Zabrak’s counterparts and she let her golden gaze lazily roll upon them.

Her face quickly grew harsh and she twisted the fist she held, bones snapped, teeth clenched and a small stream of blood fell from her lips, the pallid flesh of her face flooding with blood momentarily.

When she eased it was only to slip her broken wrist from its binding.

“Stasha!” Cried Stutters and the huntress shushed her with a glare, her eyes wracked with self inflicted agony. A short breath almost like a sob broke from the pouty grimace and she stood. Quickly examining the cell for weak points she leaned from its primitive bars as far as her elegant neck would allow and pulled back as hostile forms lay dormant around the corner.

“I need a volunteer.” she said, turning to face the twi’leks.

A pain filled grin dressed her mouth.

----------------

The rodian scanned his surroundings, guilt stirring his gullet and the heat of the day baking him alive. As the sensation of being watched grew stronger her subtlly departed into a near by hanger- both for shade and much needed security.

Ares sighed as he saw the rodian in question disappearing into the hanger he was formerly standing outside of. It meant that finding what he was looking for would only be made more difficult to the armored hunter. Under normal circumstance, Ares would have enjoyed the chase that was sure to follow, but time was of the essence, and the bounty hunter needed to find his wife before something irreversible happened.

His pace quickened at the thought of what might be happening to his Stasha as he searched, his hand already on one of his blasters. As he entered the dark hanger entrance, his helmets visor automatically adjusted to the low light. He could easily see the rodian leaning against a durasteel plated wall off to the right. Ares knew from past experience that rodian's could see in the infared spectrum, so sneaking up was practically impossible at that time. The hunter decided a far more direct approach was needed.

With practiced speed, Ares heavy blaster was already out of his holster and a shot had already gone off. It wasn't meant to hit the alien, but instead to impact on the wall to his left. It would most likely cause the scared sentient to run or fall towards the closed part of the hanger door. Effectively trapping him in a corner for Ares to question at his leisure.

" That was a warning shot mate, dont make me put a hole through you.......Now I have some questions for you. And I expect you to answer them truthfully. " Ares said as he amplified his exterior speakers in his helmet to make his voice loud and booming. It was a scare tactic that had helped him interrogate many a slime ball in his younger years. The bounty hunter kept his blaster trained on the rodian as he kept advancing forward.

" You know anything about a new group of female twi'lek slaves that came in the past couple hours? It would be in your best interest not to lie....."

The rodian’s sucker like lips turned down into a frown as he squinted- taking in Ares’ threatening basic.

“They were limited stock-” He explained, eyes fixed on the hunter‘s blaster.

“I only sell! Not in charge of stock!”

-----------------------------------------

Evie sat back on her knees - arms folded in her lap as if restrained -and waited as the right cast member passed- a brunette with long locks and pale skin.

----------------------------------------------

The rodian tugged at his collar, The booming demands causing his composure to melt away.

“My seller sells no more! Fresh out!” He added.

" I'm not to buy you kriffing scum!..." Ares said as his voice slowly escalated to a near yell before going back down to his normal interrogation tone.

" Who is your seller?..... Make it quick- I'm short on time..... Remember me plugging you full of holes is quicker than hearing you mumble what I can probably get off yor steaming corpse. " Ares said as a threat to make the rodian speak quicker, time was indeed of the essence, especially if all the slaves had already been sold.
