The planet of Mandalore was bustling today, the Mandalorian Civilians excited and desperate to hear from their leader. Mandalore the Implaceable had been lost to the galaxy for many months now, but today was finally the day Mandalore had returned. At the planet's capitol, the streets leading up towards the Main Military building were completely filled, in hopes to see their leader, for some of them, the first time in person.

At the bottom of the stairs of the building sat a massive podium facing the Mandalorian crowd. Behind that sat various Mandalorian Leaders, including Darman and his new right hand man, Darka Savage. Sitting to the right and left of them were government leaders and military men. And even behind them were masses of Mandalorian police and gaurds. Although Darman trusted his people, they haven't heard from the higher ranks for quite some time, and that could cause a bit of unrest. Sitting high in various buildings were Mando Snipers, checking the crowd, and keeping an eye on Darman.

HoloNet TV crews flew above the crowds in small speeders, ready to begin tapping the massive conference that was to be held. Although these crews could only show their footage to other Mandalorian planets, they still knew this could easily be the story of the year. The crowd buzzed with anticipation, until finally Mandalorian Commander rose and walked to the stand. Holding his hands up, the crowd quieted.

As the Commander began speaking to the crowd, Darman turned to face Darka Savage, the new Mandalorian General. For the first time in a while, Darman felt a bit taken back.

"I hope our brothers and sisters will listen to me. It has been such a long time."

Joining the rest of the Mandalorian soldiers, Herb Sacafo gazed up at the podium at his new leader. His old Friend Darman. Feelings of pride rushed through his body. Thought of their first mission as a pair. The Mission that made Herb proud to be a Mandalorian.

He had no doubts that this is another great day in Mandalorian history. Hopefully Herb would be able to catch Mandalore and congratulate him personally, and hopefully by him a drink for old time sake. However now was the time to focus upon the moment. A patriotic moment like this can also be a perfect opportunity for a Cliché assassination attempt, he kept a keen eye amongst the crowds in case anything decided to unfold.

*Darka sat in his chair, watching as the Mandalorians piled in front of the podium. It was true, the Mandalorians had been gone away for far too long. The Jedi and the Sith had been fighting back and forth without having to worry about any reprecussions from another group, but that was about to change. Darka had been in the clans for quite some time and with the succession of Darman to Mandalore, he had been made the General of the clans. It was the utmost honour, next to being named Mandalore, but he knew that should Darman ever die, the duty would be bestowed upon him.*

"They will if they know what's right for them. No other is more qualified to lead us back to glory."

OOC: Sorry it's short/sorta cheesy but i g2g

IC:

.:.The son of Mandalore the Implacable took his seat. A smirk came across the face of the Lieutenant Commander - he was gratified to have a new leader, he just hoped that he could gain his respect, and battle with him side by side. The cold, icy eyes from behind the Mandalorian helm looked at the new Mandalore, Conrad's ears ever observant to hear what he had to say. He folded his broad arms across his chest, slightly rattling against his Aryas-Made Mandalorian armor, the grand armor inspired from his father's. Conrad had made sure the armor was polished, so it looked brand new - he had done the same with his assortment of weapons. Conrad sat and waited, hungry for honor and battle... and to see this new leader, who he would follow to the end.:.

*Commander Conrad Ordo II stood in his Sunday finest Mandalorian Armor with lots of gleam to it. It had been a while since he had seen a great leader since the reign of Mandalore the Implacable. Now, a man named Darman whom he knew had become Mandalore. It was fitting even though Conrad had wanted to become Mandalore himself. Darman had the youth and strength, while Conrad...was getting old.

Sitting behind the podium where Mandalore stood, he quickly glanced at the newest addition to the General rank. Darka Savage was a man he had never heard of or seen before, but his stature was very sturdy, and looked like a battle-hardened warrior like the rest of the men sitting behind Mandalore. It seemed like the young were going to lead the Mandalorian race to victory and that the old were being put out of use. Man...if he were 10 years younger...*

Gisi arrived at the scene and watched Darman begin the ceremonies. He was glad that the mandalorians were finally going to do something in the galaxy. It had been really boring before as the mandalorians were seemingly useless as the galxy had done stuff without them being involved.

Now, Darman was now Mandalore himself. Gisi remembered when Darman was just a recruit and it didn't seem that long ago though it also did bring a bit of sadness as Gisi was still just a corporal. However, now, he would have the chance for advancement now that war would be starting soon.

Markus had arrived as well at the ceremony with his brothers, wearing his armor and helm, along with a silver cape that only covered his upper right shoulder and some of his left arm, something he only wore to these Mandalorian ceremonies. He was recently promoted to the rank of Sergeant, much to his suprise, by none other then Darman... Who was now there new Mandalore. This pleased him as a smile formed under his helmet, knowing that at last the Mandalorians were finaly on there way to glory once again. Standing besides his brothers and sisters, looking up at the podium, seeing the new Mandalore and also there new General Darka. Unfortanetly, Markus never heard of him, but knew if he was made General, he must have been one fine Mandalorian Warrior.

He then watched as the Ceremony went underway, watching and listening to everything that was said by Darman and anyone else up on the Podium...

Tetsuya Casshern stood within the gleaming ranks of the Medical Corps. He had polished his armour to a black sheen. No mean feat when it is molecularly bonded to your skin. His faceguard was in position, covering his nose and mouth. His rifle, medical bag and Kamas were all in position, and in the case of his weapons, polished. This was a momentous day. Tetsuya hadn't been doing much before, due to the disarray of the clans. But now, they had purpose, and he could perhaps now join the medical corps proper, instead of hovering at recruit...

Shane arrived in full Mandalorian armor aswell. He however didn't have any special cermonial dress as he had recntly been promoted by Darman aswell but was still in the habit of not getting too dressed up. The feeling of overwhelming pride that was shared among his fellow soldiers was almost tangible. Shane could see some of the newer recruits looking misty eyed dreaming of the day that they might becom Mandalore. Shane had those dreams back then too but they had been pushed down quickly when he realized how childish it was. Now was not the time to think of the past.

EDITED: Didn't see until an hour or so ago that I did get promoted. Thanks Dar, by the way.

*Torn Presley arrived and took a seat in the crowd at the front to see his new Mandalore leader. He was proud to be a Mandalorian, and wanted to show Mandalore how proud he was. His armor was beat up and in terrible condition due to the fact he was just made a fellow Mandalorian and was recently released from slavery, not giving him enough time to repair it. But Torn knew his armor wouldn't mean anything to him in battle, the honor and glory was all that mattered. He saw the new Mandalore sitting behind the podium, and Torn rose out of his chair and looked at Mandalore.*

"I will serve to my death my good Mandalore! I will serve you to the end of all things! We want to fight the Republic and the Sith, and reclaim our dominance over this galaxy!"

The sun glinted off Dezza's pitch-black armor, the blue patterns of thorns and spider-webs seeming to stand out brightly. He was proud to be a Mandalorian, especially today, and he had even taken off his helmet - very unusual behaviour for himself. Without his helmet, he felt somewhat exposed, but he would get used to it. After all, everyone here was a Mandalorian like himself. He could be comfortable here. Dark, sunken blue eyes started up from a pale face as Dezza looked up at his new Mandalore.

A recruit like himselfwas shouting his eagerness for battle, and everywhere he looked the people looekd proud and excited.

There could be no doubt, that things were about to change for the better. Dezza wanted glorious battle just as much as the next eager young recruit, but at this point, he'd have settled to just find someone willing to train him.

"Who are you to lead our people!? What have you done to claim this role!", shouted a rather large Mandalorian from the enormous crowd. Mandalorians were large people, but this one in particular towered over those closest to him. He raised his fists in anger, and yelled once more.

"Even now, you betray us! You are surrounded by guards! Do you not trust us? Have we no honor?! Are we simple thugs or are we WARRIORS?!" he hollered, those closest to him throwing up there hands in agreement.

"I ask you, what makes you more capable of command than me? Than ANY OF US?!"

Shane had been close behind this man and queitly placed a stern hand on his shoulder.

"I'd hold my tongue if I were you soldier. The former General is one of our finest, I can think of noone better to lead us than him. To answer the guards question. Well... he probably has them here for unruly people like YOU! If you wish to challenge our new Mandalore you then give it a shot, but don't expect too many to visit you in the intesive care unit... if he is merciful enough to let you live."

Shane's breath was like acid, the sting could be felt by those within earshot. He was not afraid of this man's size or big talk. The Sergeant had dealt with his type before, as some of the soldiers say, 'All helmet and no substance.'

Darman rose slowly, nodding to his new right hand man, then waved off the Commander who was glaring at the man standing out in the crowd. Mandalore slowly scanned the crowd, watching all the Mandalorians gathered staring at either at him or the man. Finally, Darman spoke loudly and clearly, his voice echoing throughout the streets of the Capitol.

"State your name and rank soldier."

Darman stood still, awaiting the man's answer. His white and blue armor shined brightly in the Mandalorian sun, and his various sensors on his armor were buzzing with excitment as usual. He never took his eyes of the unique Mandalorian, almost grinning.

From the shadows, an older Mandalorian looked on at the scene unfolding before him. Unlike a good deal of the others there, he was not dressed in full Mandalorian armor. He kept quiet as the hubbub around him buzzed and teemed with excitement and life. Today was the day the new Mandalore was revealed. A disgrace so low, so dishonorable, it made the man want to go up there and kill Darman right now.

But no, that would not be the way. It'd be foolish, anyway, what with all the Mandalorians on guard here. Now was the time for biding his time, for letting his plan unfold before him.

But what was this? Now the large one was creating quite a stir, causing ruckus with his words and his rage... immediately the cogs in the man's machine-like mind began spinning. This was perfect! Better than he'd imagined! Blueprints for a new plan were already being formed, better than the last one, much better. Keeping himself hidden, the man kept watch on the big brute, watching to see what happened now that Darman had turned his attention to him. This was not good. A fight was not going to help him now.

The behemoth let out a snarl, and withdrew as he touched his shoulder plate like one would if they were oozed on by a hutt. Disgusted, he pushed Shane back and his cold mechanical voice boomed through his helmet's system.

"You imbecile...Do you know who I am?! I brought this empire from the brink of destruction, and nurtured it's only hope with my own two hands. I am the destroyer of worlds, and second only to Mandalore the Invincible! The one true Mandalore, and I will not be touched by the likes of you."

*Torn was insulted. This Mandalorian had just insulted their new Mandalore. He knew the Mandalore was at one time the general, and was currently the best thing that ever had happened to the Mandalorians. While being enslaved by Mandalorians for thirteen years on Shogun, it was people like the Mandalore that kept Torn going. He would not let this heretic leave unpunished.*

"Heretic! Back down! Show Mandalore respect! And never put the word "the" in front of Mandalore. Do you put the word "the" in front of God?"

*Darka rose from his seat after hearing what the large Mandalorian was spewing. Nonsense and more nonsense, as well as getting violent with fellow Mandalorians. This was no sparring, no battle circle, so what did he think he was doing. Mandalorians do not fight their own brethren unless to gain strength from it, and there was no strength to be gained here.*

"You speak nothing but ranks and titles, past achievements and past leaders. You think you are more capable, show us all right now!"

*Darka's challenge rang throughout the entire area. His deep voice was nearly shaking the ground, as were his steps as he walked forward a couple steps, just in front of the new Mandalore.*

.:.Conrad smirked - he saw his father in the background, but slyly turned his head from view - the Aryas were back, along with Mandalore the Implacable. It was about to get ugly, very ugly. Conrad Aryas booted up the computers in his armor, and he was ready to go... if anything were to happen. His icy eyes, ever piercing even from beyond the bounds of his Mandalorian helm. He put his right hand on his Aryas made blaster - the potential of battle put a smirk upon his face.:.

"See! People, listen to me! I have insulted this horrible excuse for our leader, our god! And what does he do? Send peons before him! Has he no honor?! Has he not have the ability to stand up for himself? I do not wish to be thrown in front of death for a man who cannot hold his own! HOW ABOUT YOU!"

He said, raising his fists once more, but he was no coward. He would take the challenge. And with a click of his heels, he shot into the air, blue lights propelling him through the sky and towards the General.
