Shane couldn't help but feel the man's strength. It was impressive but could be handled, unless of course he was just treating that as a casual display. Then he'd be in a spot of trouble. Still he kpet his composure.

"HE DID NOT SEND US! We act on his behalf so he does not have to trouble himself with a pissant such as yourself. Shut your mouth before Mandalore does it for you!"

Darman quickly nodded towards Shane, as if telling him to let the man go. Within a few seconds, Darman scanned the rooftops and windows of the neighbooring buildings, noticing all of the snipers focused on that one and only Mandalorian. Not a good idea.

Quickly, Darman turned and wispered a quick word to the Mandalorian Commander, and at once he disappeared within the building. Turning back, Darman looked to the Mandalorian standing out in the crowd, then finally began to answer his question.

"To answer your first question, I am surrounded this day for saftey reasons only. As you seem not to completely trust me yet, the Mandalorians can not yet trust some others. My fellow soldiers and I are always prepared for the worst, even on this great day in Mandalorian History. Although, as many of you will already know, if someone wants to kill me, I'll fight them here and now. And I'll kick their ass while I'm at it!"

Thousands of cheers went up throughout the streets from hearing the last statement. Darman looked again at the rooftops, noticing all but two snipers take their aim off the man and began scanning the crowds again. Finally, after a few moments, the cheers died down, and Mandalore began speaking once again.

"As for your second question, I hope to believe I am well qualified to lead the Great Mandalorian Clans. I have dedicated my entire life to my brothers and sisters, as many of you can account for, and I will always continue to fight for them. My honor for the Mandalorians is unmatched and with my war experience, I WILL lead us to conquere the Galaxy."

A thounderous cheer went up, then the millions of Mandalorians began to chant "Life, Death, Revelation, Eternity. Let's live! Let's hunt!"

OOC: wow...there were about 10 posts in the time I wrote this...

"Shut up. Your life is of little consequence to me, if you truly believe this man to be worthy of the title of Mandalore. I fear little from you." He said, shoving Shane of by a swift kick.

"How can you cheer?! This man has put women up as equals to us?! They may have their part in our empire, but not on the battlefield. Our sisters?! Our sisters are bred for one reason alone! To give us honorable warriors! You're beliefs are as pathetic as your words!"

This man was beginning to annoy Mandalore, and it would be almost too easy to just kill him right now. However, after a few moments, Darman began to understand what worth this man may have to him. This man seemed to oppose everything he was saying, however such an opposite voice may one day come to help Mandalore in his thinkings. After a few moments, Darman spoke to the man camly.

"Because you believe our Mandalorian sisters are of little worth, that does NOT mean I would still not protect them. You seem to be full of yourself and your ideas. Open your godamm ears and listen to me...listen to REASON."

Darman looked down to the man, knowing he'd want a fight of some kind. This guy was such a hot head, Darman wouldn't doubt it would only be a fight of words.

Shane couldn't help himself. This man's ignorance was beginning to stir him towards white hot rage. Mandalore himself could punish him alter but he needed to vent before he tried to pull his blaster. Something that might have unseen consequences for his leader if the man tried to twist it into an order given by Mandalore.

"If they can breed honorable warriors, what is to stop them from being honorable warriors. It is the right of EVERY Mandalorian, man or woman, to fight on the battlefield. Would you, who thinks himself to be Mandalore, deny them this glory. The glory to fight hard for the reputation of their people or to shed their blood on the battlefield. DO NOT start saying that women are inadequate warriors. They have bested some of the strongest men at times and I would be honored, as with every soldier, to serve with them. Those soldiers I speak of are those who support the current Mandalore!."

*Torn believed greatly in Mandalore and Sergeant Shane's words. They spoke of the truth of the ways of every Mandalore, and he was proud to be one of the Mandalorians.*

"Only Mandalorian women can breed Mandalorian men, as I was born to parents of non-Mandalore blood, I must strive to be like the ones who do have Mandalore blood in their veins. That is why Mandalorian women are important, because they breed the best men in the universe."

The crowd began to stir uneasily, throwing their support behind everyone but the man. They began to realize he was speaking without taking a moment to think. He was the sterotypical Mandalorian...all brute strength, but no brains. Darman took a step back and folded his arms, as he knew this battle of words was being won. Sighing, he waited for the next responce from the man.

"Such Insolence..."

Markus stated to himself, turning his head slightly back towards the fool who was badmouthing there new Leader. Markus would normaly ignore him, but he was pushing it, and he knew that his brothers, sisters, and then eventualy Mandalore would get tired of him. Despite this, he remained calm, refraining to place his hand on his holstered pistol when he saw the man shove back Sergeant Oderyne. He was now turned around to face him fully, arms now crossed.

*Conrad Ordo II just stared and his mouth gaped wide open. Not only was this man bold enough to question the authority of a Mandalore, which was common, but he also questioned the origins of why he was the next in line. This seemed very unreal as he sat in his seat and just mused over this.

Rubbing his chin, he saw Lieutenant Conrad Aryas in the distance and saw the smirk on his face. Was this his doing? Was he the one who was causing the commotion because he should have been the next in line for he was the son of Mandalore the Implacable?! My God...many revelations were happening today and yet, it seemed like today would be the day that everything would go so smoothly.

But this man who questioned authority...he seemed familiar. Like a figure out of a textbook, or something like that. He commanded respect and all gave it to him. This Mandalorian was like a previous General he had known; headstrong, stereotypic, yet a great leader. What was his name...General Hoorex Kwando! This man reminded Conrad of Hoorex Kwando, the General known for destruction and being a loose cannon, but one helluva great leader.*

"Man...I didn't think that this was going to happen today."

"You fools?! Have you no sense? You speak of reason, but what have you done? You have not assumed the role of Mandalore through honorable combat, nor because you are the strongest of your kin. There is one reason, you were simply there.

You are weaker than all of us. We are the heart of this army! And the strongest of us should lead. Not one who was lucky."

"I was not floating along the ranks until I became General, soldier! My Mandalorian blood was spilled fighting for the Clans like the rest of the honorable soldiers here today. It was unfortunate that our last Mandalore had passed on, but it was not luck that put me in this position. Get it through your Godamm thick skull!"

Darman stood tall and glared at the soldier. Any other time, this man would be exectuted by Darman's hangs for speaking this way to him, but because of today's event, Darman did not want to spill his brother's blood, no matter how much of an idiot he was making out of himself.

.:.Conrad was through with waiting; he had to restrain himself from ripping his blaster out of his holster. It stayed secure in its holster. There were a bit too many snipers on the roofs. It was time for him to speak out, son of Mandalore the Implacable, Lieutenant Commander of the Mandalorian army. Such a cruelty could not and WOULD not be tolerated. An icy rage was filtered through his voice. When he spoke, he hoped that his brothers would see the truth - he was the son of Mandalore the Implacable - his words were filled with truth, herritage, and honor.:.

"Darmen? DARMEN?! You have done nothing to deserve the epithet of Mandalore! You are nothing but a traitor - one who crawled his way up the ranks by scavenging his way through the cowardly shadows. DO NOT FOLLOW THIS MAN INTO GLORIOUS BATTLE - HE HAS NO HONOR!"

"Your own trusted men have shown their true colors! Why not you! Leave now... While you still can. You obviously care nothing for our ways, so a dishonorable life should mean nothing to you."

Gisi watched the situation unfold before his eyes. He found it strange that some crazy mandalorian would do something like that but it would have to expected as Mandalore was there by merit and not by anything like heredity that would weaken the clans. Still, something like this would weaken the clans if he were to fight and get a number of Mandalorians killed. Given that he didn't want many mandalorians to die over a matter like this, decided to speak.

"Since we have a dispute over who has the right to be Mandalore and since that would cost mandalorian lives that would be better spent in battle against the Sith, what if the challenger were to lead an assault against some Sith world and if he survives the attack, then perhaps he has proved himself to be Mandalore. Perhaps the current Mandalore could also undertake the test as well to assure that he has also earned his rank."

Gisi was hoping his speech would be useful in turning the natural aggression of the Mandalorians onto the sith rather than against themselves.

Darman heard the voice of the Mandalorian behind him, then countless shots from snipers, around the whole block, heading for the man. Darman turned to the side and pivoted to the right, drawing his two blaster pistols and looking to where he knew a dead man should have been laying. Mandalore had guessed the Commander had drawn out some sort of weapon, and that had triggered all of the gaurds to shoot. Taking a step back to the General, he spoke quietly.

"The man was a fool to not let go of his feelings to his father's glory."

OOC: a Big OOC... I'm going to allow you to change your post Ember, but you do need to realize that those snipers would have shot and proably killed you as soon as you drew your weapon. Up to you.

OMG...people need to stop posting when I do...lol

Shane turned his attention and his blaster to this new man.

"You call him a traitor! You call yourself Mandalorian! YOU ARE INSTIGATING A FIGHT AGAINST MANDALORE! No matter what rank you hold or who you have allied yourself with, THAT is a treasonous act. Punishable by death if HE chooses. Oh, and in the future you shall refer to him as MANDALORE!"

OOC: Darman I was typing while you posted. I edited

Markus also drew his pistol and aimed it at Conrad, shocked that he would say such filth towards Mandalore, right in his face.

"You dare speak to our Mandalore with such a tone? Are you truely mad enough to believe what this fool here speaks?"

Markus asked, knowing that it was not too long ago when he and Conrad brieftly met on Dxun with the others. But now here he was, bad mouthing Mandalore like he was a drunk Gamarorian. He was lucky Mandalore hasent had him shot...

"This man is a fraud. I, Hoorex Kwando, last of the legendary clan Kwando and right-hand man to Mandalore the Invincible, can lead us to victory!"
