The Citadel, Mandalore
An arid wasteland after numerous wars and numerous bombings by forces both internal and external, there were some parts that had seemingly escaped the worst of the fallout. Thousands of miles west of Keldabe, stood one of the few mountain ranges that still produced snow and with it, the natural defenses that protected the home of the Orar'da'yadr. The Citadel, Mandalore
It had been days since the meeting at the Black Keep. Days since Srucayr had found his way home to his Clan, his people, and his wife. Several of his friends had reached out in the days since. So he gave them the coordinates for a back way into the fortress. There would be no pleasant flight in, no, they would get the scenic route. The historical route. The landing zone for their ships would be in a long dried out lake, with the skeletons of what perhaps once a forest in days past surrounding it. From there, he would guide them through the remains of an ancient village, long lost, and then finally to the mountain fortress.
Ancient silver and blue beskar would wait with their visor focused on the heavens as they awaited the arrival of their visitors. He would check his comm, one hand tapping away on the pommel of his blade. It had been a long time since the Orar'da'yadr had issued so open of an invitation, but the Council of Alore had decided that the time had come to rally their people. There was no desire for any single one of them to become Mand'alor, that would be a bridge to cross much later, for now, it was time to bring their people home. He had also sent word to Reiel to join him, but the young woman was constantly busy, either with the Aruetii boyfriend she thought Srucayr knew she didn't have the talk with yet, or with making friends outside their people. He knew he was jaded and that some of his beliefs were dated, but for the Mandalorians to truly reclaim their home, to earn it, it had to be done alone. And though the Orar'da'yadr had the numbers, the outposts, and the resources.. they needed more of their kind to secure the future of their people. This.. this was the first step to a very long road, one he had been walking for many years.
