Xel sat in the pilot's seat of his enormous centaur-class freighter, awaiting the arrival of a fellow Protectorate member to proceed with a mission. The mission was to get to the Spinghar and get the residents on the side of the Protectorate. The Spinghar was an asteroid that was colonized and made a popular area for ship repairs and shopping. A sort of large mall, with conviently placed living areas.

Getting in good with residents there would be a good opportunity to expand trade and market with the Protectorate. The mission was hopefully going to be simple and peaceful. Hey, he might even be able to get a new weapon from the shops.

Xel was wearing a long sleeved, black turtle neck and matching cargo pants. With black boots to boot (hilarious I know). His FRAB blaster rifle was on a strap which allowed for easy carrying on his back. His BP01 was in its usual location, in his right cargo pant pocket. He leaned back in his chair as he continued to wait for the arrival of his unknown partner.

Nechor walks into the hangar looking for the freighter his boss told him about, both of his lightsabers swinging on his belt, his pistol sitting under his outer robe. He looks around and finally finds the freighter, walking up the ramp and knocks on the cockpit door. He takes two steps back waiting for the individual to answer trying to be respectful. He thinks to himself "I hope this mission goes well, no trouble and hopefully no combat." but deep down he wanted to get into a fight. He has metal armor under his outer robes for extra protection of course.

Xel heard the knock and stood up, strecthing his arms out a bit as he did so. He made his way over to the door that was knocked on. He opened it up to see a figure standing patiently. More importantly a figure with lightsabers. Xel's eyes always wandered to the waist area to check for weapons. Lightsabers scared Xel quite a bit, but not nearly as much as they would have five years ago. Xel's hair was done up in the usual ponytail and bangs. He leaned on the door frame calmly and gave a slight wave with his right hand. He spoke to the figure that stood before him in a calm and somewhat happy voice. "How may I help you?"

Nech wave`s back with a smile "I am your partner for the Protectorate." He can sense his fear since he seen his lightsabers. "Don`t be afraid of the sabers i am no threat to you." He reaches into his robe and pulls out a flask, opening it and sipping slightly before putting it back in a pocket in his robes. Checking his belongings once more in case he forgot something but he wasn't going to go back. Nech wanted to get this mission started.

Xel nodded, pressed a button on a panel near the door, and stepped forward, allowing the door to shut behind him. He jumped off of the ramp from the right and motioned the lightsaber wielder to follow him with his left hand. "Alright then, let's get this mission underway. Shouldn't be too hard..."

Xel examined the surronding area on the landing platform at the spaceport. There were more ships and people around them, some bartnering, and others just having conversations. There was a cantina not too far from where Xel's ship was located so that those whi arrived had a place to get some refreshments and socialize. Only the latter would be something Xel wanted to do. He found it hard to trust cantina drinks that weren't on the upper levels of Corsucant or at a similar location.

The cold air of the Spinghar was a mice change from the unbearable heat on other planets that he managed to bear, even with his choice of clothing. He pulled a pair of black fingerless gloves out of his left cargo pant pocket and put the over his pale hands.

Nechor nods to the man as he leaves his ship, "I am always ready." Nech turns around scoping the hangar in case anyone decides to get smart. He holds his hand out to Xel "Nice to meet you, I`m Nechor."

Turned on his feel to face his fellow Protectorate member and shook his hand. Someone with manners. It was a nice change from the constant rudness of most other people. "I'm Xel. Pleasure to meet you as well. I recommend you keep those glowsticks hidden unless necessary. Too many wandering hands might want to get one. Or of course, some might get afraid. And we're here to make peace and get people wih the Protectorate."

After the completed handshake, Xel turned around once more to face the main exit of the enormous hangar. He began walking towards it, which would soon lead to many shops, and many people to get on the side of the Protectorate. "Up ahead is a market area full of people, which should make a great start."

Jacien arrived on Spinghar she was on a good will mission so she had brought her Hunter class enforcement ship for weapons and systems upgrades. She was going to have five heavy cannons and an additional ion cannon mounted on her ship. She was also looking to have the generators upgraded to offset the additional equipment. She was going to give these craftsman free reign in order to try to keep her ships speed with the addition of the new equipment. She was also here to set up trade negotiations and help Xel with bringing it into the fold of the Protectorate. If she was lucky Xel would already have set up meetings with several of the craftsmen. Since joining the Protectorate Jacien and her family along with their business had done well both in recovering stolen ships, As well as recovering mining colonies and equipment .

OOC: Xel is described above, didn't want to type it again. Weapon setup is also the same.

As Xel landed on the Spinghar, he stretched in his seat. A fun time was in store. Spreading good word of the Protectorate usually seemed to turn out well, so why not this time? Xel hoped those he wanted to talk with had some spare time on their hands. He had already asked a blacksmith whom he knew to get the Protectorate's name around Spinghar, but Xel did not know whether or not his request was being fulfilled.

After a short trek through his ship to where he main exit door was, Xel opened he door and allowed a ramp to descend onto the landing pad below. He smiled at the chilly air that greeted him as he stepped outside his ship, he door closing behind him. Xel began to search the area for his partner for the mission at hand. Hopefully Xel wasn't late, and hopefully neither was his partner.

Jacien, found Xel and they made their way to one of the local cantinas. Just outside the bar she handed a dozen introduction cards to a street urchin and told him she would pay him 5 credits for each weapons installer and ship power system installer he could get to meet her at the cantina in two hours. She also offered to buy him a meal all he could eat of course. The scamp bolted off and was back in less than an hour, with promises of craftsmen. Smiling she ordered food for five and picked at it while the urchin devoured the rest. When the business men had arrived Jacien made a show of paying the Urchin first then she asked him to return in the morning. Touching her wrist com she had one of her crew follow the child to make sure he got home with out being robbed. She then looked at the waiting craftsmen and said, "You know how it goes, you got to pay your bills when they are due." To a chorus of chuckles Jacien then introduced herself , I am Jacien Icerider and this is Xel we are from the Kjlljk Protectorate and we need your help. We are looking to modify numerous ships, we want to increase their firepower sometimes by as much as 200%, upgrade their power supply's and back up generators. Now here comes the tricky part we want to be able to camouflage the armament but absolutely we want a minimum loss in speed." she paused to open a box on the table in front of her while the drink droid delivered brandy's to everyone. Here are the 5 ships I would like to see the modifications for she said, "handing each craftsman a data cube on these are base plans for a Centaur super heavy freighter, a Voruda heavy freighter, a G5 Rigger light freighter, a Hunter class enforcement ship, and a D44 Gunboat. I realize that most of you have done this kind of stuff before and may already have plans at your shops. I would like your plans attached to each ship by tomorrow along with your pricing." Jacien waited till the expected groans fell silent and then said; "in return I will pay 1000 credits for the bids alone." At the looks of surprise and raised eyebrows she knew the second requirement would be given into quickly. "I also need your designs delivered in 7 days, they will need to be removable without damage to the ships. I will also pay for each of them." A chorus of affirming explicatives and another round of brandy delivered she then dropped the final shoe. "Every system will be field tested and gentlemen understand that 1 MGLT can make the difference between one system sold and 100 systems sold." When the craftsmen left she then stepped outside and located another street urchin handing him half a dozen introduction cards she sent him to find droid or probe satellite builders with instructions to meet her here in three hours. walking back in she sat beside Xel and whispered, "got to give it time to circulate that there is money and work to be had."

Xel followed Jacien inside of said cantina after having found each other. Xel honestly didn't know much of what his partner had planeed, but he hoped it would be effective. When the resident workers of the Spinghar had arrived, Xel smiled slightly. He allowed to Jacien to fully lead the conversation, as he was not aware of where she was going with anything. It was certainly something that seemed pleasing to the craftsmen once credits were offered. He was not aware that Jacien had all those credits to throw away. Perhaps they were Protectorate Credits, but Xel did not feel the need to ask. Once the men had left Xel sighed as he quickly downed what was left of his drink.

"This plan of yours seems to be working pretty well. I'm sure that those craftsmen will be pleased to tell all their friends of this encounter with the Protectorate. Nice job. Hopefully the next wave works well. If you'd like, I could try to find an acquaintance of mine and tell him to grab a few people he knows and get them over here at some point."

Yong Ki and Kae Tl, Are looking for some ships that they can up armor and weaponize to use as bait ships to draw in Pirates. These guys have been upgrading ships for years why not buy their plans and use their technology. It sure saves having to think up all of the possibilities on your own. We also need space probes and droids to help with manufacturing and securing our borders

"So is there anything in particular you need me to do? You seem to be taking charge of this stuff pretty well."

Xel lightly tapped the table with his finger as he spoke. If things kept going like this, Spinghar would be a Protectorate loving planet in no time. He was very happy to see that Jacien got things done.

I can deal with the craftsmen and what passes for leadership. Most of that will be done with money and trade we need you to delve into the underworld and determine if it needs to be eliminated or just brought onboard.

"Information is all I need to get? That should be easy enough. Any particular officials you need information on? Some sort of governer, senator, anything of the sort."

Xel was fine with dealing with sone information brokers around some backwater regions of Spinghar. Sort of a challenge really, trying to get some information like that. Politics never really interested Xel, but he wouldn't mind hearing some gossip about it on this particular occasion.

Sliding A credit chip across the table to Xel Jacien stated, "there is 20,000 credits there use them. And remember to always overpay the runners and messengers that you hire they are the biggest slingers of gossip around they also know more than most people would ever suspect. By the second or third time you hire the same runner will be willing to give you every bit of information that they have ever collected."

Xel gave a nod, placed the credit chip in his left cargo pant pocket, and stood up, making his way towards the exit of the cantina. Once outside, he looked around and started walking to the left of the building. After a while he arrived at a bar that certainly needed some renovation. He went in and absorbed the enviornment around him. Plenty of thugs amd lowlives littered the bar.

Xel went towards the actual counter of the bar and sat beside a hooded figure. Xel ordered a shot of the finest the bar had, using his own credits for it. He didn't want to waste funds that weren't his own. Xel glanced at the figure beside him and spoke.

"You know where someone could get information around here?"

OOC: I'll need you to control the NPC Xel is talking with.

OOC will answer once for this NPC and a second for Jacien 's interactions.
The hooded figure looking at XEL said that depends upon what kind of information, and how much you are willing to pay.

Jacien watched XEL leave the Cantina and she only waited a short time before the other craftsman begin arriving. The Droid and probe Craftsmen came equipped with their own data pads containing many of their own designs for their operations. After ordering drinks it did not take long for Jacien to make orders for a large number of probes as well as several dozen different types of droids. Securing The blueprints for each piece of technology that you purchased took a little while longer since each of the craftsmen wanted to transmit their information privately. As expected two high-ranking government functionaries showed one who identified himself as a lieutenant governor had another as the chief of internal security. After introductions were made Jason invited the government officials to dine with her at the look of disdain on the lieutenant governors Face she added unless of course you know of a better place. They lead her to a much higher end restaurant where food was obviously the primary source of income and not alcohol
