Worlds Away...

As soon as she had stepped through the portal on Vrogas Vas, she knew something was wrong. It was supposed to be like walking through a door, and then you would be on the next world. The light had stretched along for miles, it felt like she had walked for hours with nothing changed. She started to fear she would never make it to the other end, the tunnel never ending, no indication of solid land beneath her feet, and the Force in the tunnel felt wild and frayed. However, as she neared the embrace of her greatest fears the portal would open and the land took shape around her feet and Tiamat found herself on a world she did not recognize.

If she were honest with herself, Tiamat was more relieved she did not become forever lost in space and time, but the glitch was not without its side effects as she suddenly felt nauseous and fell to her hands and knees, vomiting whatever was left in her stomach from when-when she did not even know. Where she was, it certainly did not feel like Lothal, in fact this world felt overly dedicated to the Light. Tiamat's limbs felt weak as she tried to push herself up, but instead she rolled over onto her side, her head spun, her stomach turned as though she caught a terrible case of Corellia Flu. She laid on her back uncomfortably arched by her pack as she looked to ease her body back into the realm of...well, she was uncertain of what to call the plane versus...she guess reality.

Tiamat mustered enough energy to roll over and out of the arms of her pack as she reached over to open and see if her tools could give her any clue as to where she was, but as she waited as patiently as she could to see if her holopad would bring up anything, it seemed like the jump had its impact on her devices. She let out a long defeated sigh and put them all back in her bag. It was just her and the pine forest in some mountains of whatever world this was; she remembered being stranded on Lothal and needing to keep moving before it became dark. The woman groaned as she pushed herself to her feet, trying to use the Force to give her any hint of direction, but she felt rejected here and started in a direction down the mountain side. Eventually she would make it to a shallow river and Tiamat knew this would be her best bet in finding a village...if she were still even inside the galaxy on a world that was inhabited.

THEME
Everything had changed since Byron had joined the Order. The man remembered being worried about entering the Tython temple even with the then knights Tionson and Grayza. Now Byron Ryker was far from the simple life of maintaining his old ship in the forests of Ajan Kloss and running through lightsaber drills with other padawans.

Now, Byron was missing something. There was something he needed to find, something he could do that would make him a better Jedi. There were records of an old temple that served as a retreat for troubled Jedi at some point in the past. With the raid on Ajan Kloss Byron thought it best to both check on the Jedi Order site and also perhaps find some enlightenment.

The walls of the abandoned halls of the Dawn Temple were quiet. The occasional sound of a bird's wings or the wind blowing from outside could be heard in his quiet meditation. The knight had not ventured into the building very far or explored. It was clear the place had been ransaked and pawing through the rubble was not the kind of searching he had come for. Instead he sat on the meditation terrace with his eyes closed. The cold was a distraction but the bearded man did not feel it. His focus was on the Force and its own imbalance.

Hours would pass and the sun would move across the sky. A sea of clouds would flow down from the mountains and towards the green terrain at the lower and more temperate elevations. The soft white would block the view of the Jedi if he opened his eyes. But they remained closed, having fallen into a trance.

Byron was not sure how many days had pasted since he had come to Spintir. After he had been returned to the Order after the Battle of Kessel, he had felt he had failed yet again. The guilt of all that was lost on Ajan Kloss, his own uncertainty, these were things he needed to face alone. Even if he had brought others along for the journey they would not be able to aid him.

432004bec446ababde5ca01b34001a0d.gif
This feeling had stuck with him sense Felucia. It had changed and retreated to the back of his awareness at times. But he felt something reaching out and grasping at him. The being garbed in the dark armor who had taken Byron, its signature in the force was layered in darkness, making the Knight only more confused in the weeks following. The feeling had latched on like several hands holding a lightbulb, capable of crushing it with a simple thought and smothering any chance at light. But the man had been unconscious and the sensations had gone by the time Byron had been handed back over to the Jedi.

A disturbance in the Force made the man furrow his brow. His hands clenched and the Knights brow furrowed. Reaching back out, it was different, darker and muddled with something Byron didn't understand. But there was fear, the desperate kind of fear that came into the man's mind as he reached out in the Force. As quickly as he had tried to connect and pull on that feeling it felt like he had touched a live circuit and was jolted from his meditation.

Byron coughed as his throat felt dry. Snow shook from his broad shoulders where it had partially begun to melt and then refreeze. Brushing himself off and grabbing his pack he looked over the mountain range. He would have sensed, seen or heard a ship approach. Perhaps this was why he was here. Donning his cold weather outfit, Byron went to the close-topped landspeeder he had procured in town and left the Temple in the rearview for the time being.

If it wasn't for the feeling that her stomach was tied into a dozen knots, she thought she would have been enjoying herself. The air was crisp, probably the cleanest she had ever breathed in on any world, but it seemed the world did not want her present. The Light rejected her, it felt almost as though it nipped at her skin, slowly trying to peel away who she had become, searching for a way inside to bend her to its will. She turned her focus on the mountain stream, falling back into her earliest lessons of control and calm and the trickle of the water seemed to quiet her mind. Recalling the last she had been near a natural body of water and wondered if the beach house from her childhood was still on Corellia.

It would be nice to visit if she ever got off this world.

Tiamat paused, feeling the pack become uneven on one shoulder as she adjusted the pack and then decided to break. She sat in the grass, pulling out her holopad to see if she was able to pick up anything, but nothing came. Her lips pursed in a pout and her blue eyes narrowed as she pulled her jacket just a bit tighter around herself. The young Sith let her thoughts drift for a moment as to what could have gone wrong in her theory, but she would be interrupted when she felt another presence. It caused her to sit up straight in surprise, and quickly looked around, seeing nothing, feeling nothing.

Deciding she should continue, the redhead rose from the grass and continued down the mountain side, watching the sunlight paint the side of the mountains ahead of her in pinks and purples. Beautiful as it was, it was worrisome since she would need to find shelter soon. Mountain weather was unpredictable and she felt entirely ill-prepared. Though, she would be able to see something moving in the distance: too fast for an animal, it had to be a speeder craft of some sort, heading in her direction.

The Force moved to her command, enhancing her senses as to figure out if they were a threat or someone she could use to bring her to a port nearby. But what she felt was unexpected and expected all at once.

Around him he could see the snow begin to disperse at the lower elevation before long. The life of the planet had been a pleasant retreat for him so far. The difficulties of the isolated wilderness and introspection at the Dawn Temple were why he had come. But now there was a disturbance and one he couldn't help himself but investigate.

Byron focused ahead of him and knew whatever it was, whomever it was, would be coming into view shortly. It wouldn't take long for the speeder to reach them he was a patient man. The Knight's eyes squinted across the landscape. Perhaps he tried to still reach out and sense who it was. It felt like he was rounding a corner and about to come face to face with someone he knew.

At a distance it was a single figure moving down the mountain. There wasn't any vehicles, ships or group. Darkness Like a drop of blood mixing into a pool. At first it had been clear to see but subtly spread out and become barely separable from everything else. Without much else in view it was easy for him to assume where it came from. From a distance he knew he wasn't going to be surprising anybody.

The vehicle would slow as it got closer and eventually stop with the passenger side between Byron and Lyra. Her red hair was one of her defining features from distance which were clearly visible now. She was a little older, and different. The driver's side door would open and allow the mechanic get out the speeder and look across the hood of the vehicle at her. One arm placed on the top of the speeder. A slight smile at the pleasant, if not curious, presence of the teenager came from the Knight. "Hey...Dewberry."

She stopped, letting the speeder approach; her eyes narrowed as she tried to place her finger on what it was she felt, it certainly was becoming clear that it was a Force user, a Jedi no doubt. Her boot dug into the rocky ground, preparing herself for the worst to happen, she would be ready for anything the decided to pull, though in her experience with the Jedi, she wondered how much of a fight it would be. The girl inhaled, her mind cleared, settling like stone against the waves of the Force. Her blue eyes pierced through the speeder as a man exited and instead of digging further into the darkness, she stopped as he turned to her, casually rested an arm on the speeder.

Dewberry...

Her features softened, a smiled tried to break through, but she paused, "I remember you, Jedi." she said, her mind taking her back when she was on Felucia for the first and what she thought would be the last time. She took a step toward him, "I remember the pie...and the speeder breaking down." she nodded, cautiously walking toward the speeder, uncertain of his intentions. It was an odd coincidence, perhaps a cruel trick by the Force for him to be here. Tiamat tilted her head slightly, her red hair falling over her shoulders, "Did you lose your ship?" she asked, her senses unable to pick up anything ominous from the Jedi Knight.

She stood on the other side of the speeder and rested her arms on top, leaning against the vehicle to take some weight off her feet.

Byron's weathered face tilted a little to the side, looking her up and down as she got closer. Her outfit, her posture itself was different. The same could be said for the Knight but he wondered what the young woman had been up to. Byron's smile widened a little at hearing her recognize him. "Again? Hah..." He laughed slightly at the thought for a moment. Well technically he had lost that borrowed yacht on Kessel but that didn't count. "...nope. I've been flying solo for a bit."

"What about you? Keeping good company?"
She seemed just as wary as before. Maybe even more so now. Even as Lyra leaned and the repulsor engine adjusted for her slight frame, he could tell she was tensed. Byron remembered her impression of the galaxy the last time they had spoken. Her apprehension towards others persisted.

9ad092af50b33a2696f2aa39165753e9732f0786.gif
The man shivered for a moment as a breeze came along. Turning to look back up the way he came he looked back towards the direction of the nearest town. "...Hmm..." Without even realizing, he combed the tip of his chin in thought before looking back at the redhead. At least there was some of the same a confidence in herself she had flaunted before. That was good to see.

"What brings you to Spintir?" Drumming his fingers against the top he remembered the girl saying something about avoiding the Core. The knight was also wondering about what he had said last to the girl. There was a reason he had told her he was headed to the Arda system and not Yavin. But now there was also a Jedi temple on this planet too technically. Even a teenager could make that conclusion and they would be right to do so. But the man stopped himself from sighing at himself openly.

Even Tiamat started to wonder if she changed much since their last meeting; she recognized many of the same feelings she had the last she met him, but he was not as...well threatening as others she had met. He asked if she were keeping good company, "I've been picky about the company I keep." she shrugged, and then shivered with the Jedi Knight from the mountain breeze. She opened her mouth to say something, but stopped when he mentioned Spintir.

Her eyes widened in response, clearly surprised by the revealing of the planet's name; though her expression made sense to her, given she just folded time and space to get here and was only just wonder where here was, the surprise look she found would probably confuse most people. There was a bit of excitement though as she stepped back from the speeder and pulled out her holopad, quickly jotting down something.

"Spintir?" she questioned as she then slipped her pack back over her shoulder, "That's...hmm..." she tilted her head, it was a world saturated in the Light, no wonder it felt like this place wanted to eject her into space. Tia's gaze fell on Byron, "Spintir?" she questioned again and gave a nervous laugh; her ship was on Vrogas Vas on the other side of the galaxy, and as far as she knew, no coordinates pointed to a gate here. Her lips pursed and her brow furrowed in her thoughts, "Is there a port nearby?" she asked folding her arms, to warm them against the chill, "Or any place where I can warm up and rest?" she asked and looked around, just seeing wilderness, "Spintir?" She seemed to be in mild disbelief to where she was.

"Yea" He replied and cocked a bushy eyebrow at Lyra's confusion. "Yes." Byron nodded as he heard her repeat the planet's name. His head tilted to the side at the peculiar way she was acting. Did she not know where she was?

Looking towards the direction she had been heading he knew she had been on the right course and would probably be fine on her own. The Knight had spent a bit of time on the planet a little by now and had a feel for things. It was more than that actually, he could almost feel the entire planet when he meditated and could sense the lone city. "There's a small village but no port that way. The only city around here is Reles which is further away." It wasn't a fast trip by any means to the city but it had businesses and places for travelers. “Bet they have pie too.” He added as an afterthought.

The man's gaze looked back at the redheaded teen. "Yeah..." He answered again and chuckled a little. "Why don't you tell me how you got here on the ride over." Byron didn't wait for her to answer. Instead his figure got back into the landspeeder and made sure the other side was unlocked for her. "Don't want to wait in the open too long. There are wolves around here. They bury their prey." They normally hunted at higher elevations and Byron hadn’t not encountered them up close yet. He would prefer to keep it that way mainly because Byron didn’t want to see the wayward teen having to meet the more predatory mammals that populated the world.

She really didn't want to tell him how she got here, he was a Jedi after all, and who knew how he would process anything from her if he suspected she was a Sith. However, it was a ride back to town and hopefully to a ship where it can get her back on the path to Vrogas Vas or one of the worlds she knew had a gate. That of course, would all be put aside if he was predicting correctly about there being pie where they were going. Though she could agree with him about not wanting to stick around to meet any of the local wildlife.

Tiamat climbed into the speeder and sighed, feeling herself relax against the seat her fingers thawing as she turned up the heat. She was a bit relieved to see a familiar face, but it still ate at her how she ended up here, clearly short of Lothal and way off from Dantooine. She wouldn't know details of course until she got back and started looking at the gate itself to see if something wasn't wired correctly or if there was an anomaly that interfered with her calculations.

"So its been a while...were you able to get to where you needed?" she asked him, recalling his concern to get off Felucia. She had stayed behind, though was able to get off world and head back to the core a few days later.

Hearing her break the silence he turned to look at her in the passenger seat. Lives had been lost and the Ajan Kloss temple had been raised. "Eventually..." His tone sounded a bit somber before turning his attention back to the terrain ahead of them. Byron ended up taking a few hops to return to the Yavin IV temple and rejoin the other Jedi. By then Ajan had already been lost. "...But I think I'm where I need to be."

Byron's hands gripped the controls firmly and guided the landspeeder over the green terrain. They crossed smoothly into areas with patches of white where the altitude kept the snow from melting before entering a forested patch the further they descended. The clouds overhead thinned to let beams of light begin to peak through in the distance.

"You going to tell me what you've been up to and why you're acting more turned around than a astromech's dome?" Byron thought he may as well come right out and ask it. The girl was acting strange and had been found out in the middle of nowhere and hadn't provided an explanation. The man gave her a sideways look as if to say 'you're not as slick as you think you are' before continuing. He knew Lyra was disturbed by someone or something else that had happened to her. "You don't have much confidence in me do you?" Byron couldn't blame her and wasn't looking to accuse her. Whatever the case, she didn't believe it was worth sharing with him yet.

He didn't allow for the silence to return and she felt herself jump on the defensive when he bluntly asked her of her business. She couldn't argue that she was acting weird, she was feeling weird, perhaps even still a bit nauseous from the jump. Tiamat looked at the Jedi and then glanced back out of the window; she felt like a kid being reproached by their parent or teacher as he gave her a look, speaking to her that he knew something was up. She wasn't sure how to explain anything without giving away the true nature of her work or exploration.

Tiamat turned her head to look at him as he mentioned the lack of confidence within him, "I don't have much confidence in much of anyone." she stated, reaching up to rub her ear, feeling the pressure changing as they descended down the mountain. However, she had a feeling he was not going to let up.

She shifted in her seat, feeling her shoulders relax as she carefully picked her words to give him a story that he would ease his curiosity. "I had a mishap..." she shrugged, "I was planning on arriving elsewhere, but I somehow landed here." Tiamat sighed and frowned, "So I am feeling a bit turned around, maybe even a little sick. Maybe its just from the altitude." she glanced at Byron.

"So what are you doing here?" she asked, working with an easy deflection to see if he would continue to press her.

Byron's eyes met Lyra's when she replied. "Clearly." The young redhead had said as much the first time they met. It was somewhat saddening to hear it though because the Knight believed her. Looking away, he opened his jaw to pop his ears and make a muttered comment. "Maybe that's the problem."

Byron listened and thought about it. He hadn't seen a trail of smoke or any indications of a crash. If a starship had flown nearby when he had been at the temple, Byron would have spotted it. "You think you came here by accident." The man made singular chuckle sound. "Are you sure you don't want to be here?" Once again he turned away from the path ahead to look at Lyra's response.

Sprintir was a planet of light and life. The inhabitants were few but they mostly lived honest lives. The dawn temple itself was a place for rebalancing and recovering from the dark side. The Knight believed that people could be led by choices they made without realizing it. As a Jedi he didn't expect the young woman to understand the nuances of the Force or his outlook. Certain things could only be believed if self discovered, rather than told.

Unlike Lyra, Byron was not expecting to leave. "I've made some mistakes. But I feel like I've been missing something and hoped to find the answers here." The questions Byron asked had answers that still eluded him. But they were the kind that would only come from within.

"I don't think, I know I did." she frowned as she mumbled under her breath but Byron would still be able to hear. She certainly wanted to get off this world, she could feel the Force looking for a way inside her. The more it tried to push its way in, the more Tiamat pushed back; her thoughts shielded from . Besides, her ship and her belongings were lightyears away and though it were in the middle of nowhere, she could relate to how Emryc felt being so far away from something he cared dearly about.

Tiamat listened as Byron continued, explaining his purpose on this world; she would have accepted Jedi Things and be content. Though, informing he had made mistakes and now was here trying to find answers bit at Tiamat's curiosity, more specifically the contrast compared to the Sith. "If you made mistakes why not fix it?" she asked, intending for it to be rhetoric and shrugged, "Or are you making mistakes because you don't have those answers?" Making mistakes in the Sith was unacceptable, if you were lucky, you were given another chance and you would not find failure again, but there were some who would not have their justifications heard. Generally rushing lead to those to unfortunate outcomes, the dark side was patient, and therefore Tiamat has learned to become more patient over the years.

The redhead turned her head to look at Byron, "Perhaps, time has not come for those answers." she glanced down at her fingers, starting to get some feeling back in them from being out in the cold, "I heard the Jedi just sit around a lot waiting for something to tell them to do things. Sounds like...a waste..."

Despite the mumbled response, Byron wasn't entirely convinced by Lyra's comment. But he also knew it didn't much matter if the Knight believed her or not. Lyra was the one that believed it, or at least it seemed like she wanted Byron to think that was the case.

"Mistakes...mine or anyone's, are a part of life." It was a simple answer but the bearded knight would continue as the speeder slowed. Ahead came around a rocky outcropping before revealing a narrower route hugging the mountainside. The terrain would continue to grow more precarious for a bit and Byron was more than happy to take the time and just have a comfortable speeder ride.

"Not all things can be fixed, and sometimes we aren't meant to fix them." Occasionally he would switch his gaze from the route they were taking towards the view. Traveling the galaxy was nice but a lot of it was on the inside of a spaceship. Their descent continued all the same over an otherwise unblemished landscape.

"But what we do or don’t do still happens regardless of whether or not we have regrets." Byron's face would turn first and then his eyes would follow towards Lyra again. The man felt the lightside of the world through the Force as well as its darkness. It had been easiest to focus on inside the temple but even out here it was coming more easily. Byron could feel turmoil beside him raging as the darkness and light tried to equalize inside Lyra.

He spoke and she felt the speeder begin to slow as they approached a more treacherous path down the mountain. Being in the speeder, she internally questioned the safety of this road and if it were ever meant for speeders. Her fingers instinctively curled into her pants, grasping some of the fabric tightly until they fully rounded the corner. Byron continued though, speaking sagely on the realities of life, it was clear to Tiamat that he had been working on this issue for quite some time and it sounded as though he had most of it figured out.

He looked in her direction and Tiamat turned her head to meet his gaze, giving him a look that spoke of her distaste for lectures. The only thing she regretted right now was not double checking her work, something probably went wrong in her configurations, but she was going to have to take some time to go through the data.

"Best to keep moving forward, learn from our past and our history." she shrugged, feeling her repeat words that she was certain were inspired by her master. They certainly felt foreign to her to speak in such a way, "So are you the only Jedi here?" she asked, "Or are you here with others? It seems kind of... lacking out here." she asked, then again, she had teleported herself to an odd place on the world. Though she was more concerned about other jedi being present and what they would do once they figured her out. She knew Byron could feel the Force in her and its alignment no where close to his own practices.

"Ah! There it is" He shook his head with a smile as if catching an easter egg in a holo-drama. "Why do you do that, Lyra?" He shook his head as he kept the grin. "...changing the subject I mean." In truth the Knight already had a feeling why she was acting dismissive from what he said. It was his turn to give a shrug. "Your words lack conviction is all I'm saying."

He would eventually answer her question regardless. "...some Jedi make a trip here. I'm not the only one that's visited Spintir." She didn't need to know he was the only one at the Dawn Temple. "We come here because of the large amount of life that inhabits this world. It can help a Jedi that's having...issues." His eyes blinked a few times since he didn't know any other way to put it simply.

She wasn't trying to hide the subject change, but it seemed like it bothered him more than she actually intended. The redhead made a mental note of it and a smirk came to his reaction. Tiamat glanced at him, eyebrows raised and then lowered into a slight scowl as he told her how her words lacked conviction. He could believe what he wanted, she knew he knew nothing of her. Perhaps that was what just Jedi did, get one to believe they are wrong until they start believing what they had to say. Oddly, Tiamat found this fascinating, her knowledge about the Jedi were limited to what was told to her by Emryc and her lessons during training. She knew there was a respect that should be held to their power, perseverance was their strength, it would serve her in her own way.

The Jedi moved on explaining the pilgrimages of Jedi to Spintir, leaving her to wonder how many where actually present on this world. He did well to cover that number, it could mean anywhere from just him alone to a few dozen; she was certain she would be able to tell if a large group of Jedi were near...at least she hoped.

However, she found it interesting as he explained why Jedi came to Spintir, "Issues?" she raised her eyebrows in curiosity, "So does that mean you're having issues?" she asked, "What happens if you can't resolve these issues? Do you get kicked out of the Jedi?"

Byron knew he had sounded vague enough to warrant more questions. He wasn't trying to hide his own short comings. If anything he wanted to be judged for his mistakes. "Yeah, issues." The Jedi repeated himself gruffly. The speeder continued to follow the narrow path meant mainly as an riding trail for beasts of burden. "Well...yeah..." The Knight admitted in a tone. He would have thought it was obvious for Lyra to see that. Then again she only knew him while he was in the middle of a terrible situation.

"I don't think I'll ever not have issues. But this...trial....this test...I'm not even sure I know what it is is." The man's eyes grew unfocused as he spoke. The vehicle didn't stray from the path even as Byron felt his own worry grow in that moment.

The speeder would move abnormally but not from anything the Jedi or Sith did. Their presence was enough to trigger an attack by a predatory beast. It leapt from its place as the speeder slowed enough for it to take advantage of the embankment. The weight of the animal alone caused the engines to try and compensate but one repulsor slammed into the ground and dashed against a boulder causing the vehicle to drop and start dragging on the ground by one point. A grove in the dirt was plowed even as the beast's claws and teeth gnashed at the hard topped speeder, eager to sink its teeth into the prey inside.

Tiamat seemed absolutely fascinated with this concept that Jedi had issues, and that Byron was one who seemed to be in that category too. He wasn't at all afraid to confess to such flaws and now he was here trying to fix them. She watched him for a moment, observe for a change in his features to hint of anything that was dishonest, but nothing came. She didn't press what it was that was bothering Byron and his reason for coming here, but she felt more at ease about how she compared to him as silly as it sounded.

She wasn't jedi, but she certainly was a Sith with a particular set of issues that she could not seem to resolve. She frowned, but remained silent as she sorted through her thoughts. And not before long she sunk into her seat, her demeanor turned more somber as she searched with how to share her with him that even she had issues too. "I fac-" she stopped as she felt something ripple through the Force and the speeder shifted violently. On top of it was a powerful beast that seemed set on destroying this confusing obstacle that travelled through its territory.

Its claws scratched horribly against the metal, the sound making Tiamat wince as she looked to Byron, "Stop the speeder." she said, know it sounded ridiculous and they could try to outrun it, but the last thing they needed was for it to tear this thing apart and both be stranded. If he would stop, Tiamat was prepared to face the creature.

The vehicle continued to grind against the earth and form a long grove in its wake. Dirt kicked up over the snow as it had lost some level of responsiveness to the Jedi's control. His head tilted and looked up at the clear ceiling of the speeder. The voice of the teenager shouting at him made him look ahead but didn't see anything immediately at risk of them running into anything. They were still on a narrow cliff edge a ways before it leveled out. There wouldn't be anywhere for them to run.

Hitting the breaks, the engines throttling down rapidly sending the clawed animal screeching forward and of the landspeeder. "Head towards the village!" He held out his right hand in an effort to dissuade Lyra from following and focused the force into his legs. One hand tapped the controls on the dashboard opening the canopy of the landspeeder up.

Jumping out and forward from the vehicle, the knight used the momentum to run towards the beast. The wolf snarled, barring its fangs. Byron's dark beard showed off his white teeth in contrast though he was grimacing a bit. The Jedi brought a fist forward and punched the predator as it began reeling back

Lyra couldn't outrun the beast and in case there were others he hoped to draw them away from the broken landspeeder. The icewolf would feel the jedi's strike along with the added kick of the gauntlets he wore. Byron shot both of his hands apart, widening himself before surging forward and bringing them together. Both hands together, palms facing the wolf and fingers splayed in opposite directions to push a momentary torrent of air at at the wolf. "Head East!" Hoping she knew which direction it was.
