It annoys me when people use, "how's it going?" as a greeting while wallking. I'm never sure what to say. I have a lot of shit going on and I don't know that I have the time to convey all that in the 5 or 10 seconds we're going to be within earshot of each other. Most of all, I don't know who the hell you are and I don't feel like opening up to a stranger. So I inevitably reply, "fine, you?" And I don't even really care! I'm not stopping to have a conversation with you, because I probably have shit to do.

Socially awkward people who don't just say "cool, how about you"? when I ask them how it's going when I walk past them on the street.

The chewing gum insanely loud thing annoys me to no end. I guess God was trying to teach me a lesson when He had a lady sit next to me on my flight not too long ago. That business trip flight was from hell...

As for the OP, I hate folks who do that too. Better yet, folks who blatantly pry into my private life with very private questions which they make it sound as though it's an innocent question. With those kinds of folks, I simply respond with "I don't want to answer that."

Anther thing I hate is when folks assume I'm affectionate kind and want to hug all over me. Let's just say I've mastered the art of hug dodging.
