NAME: Thur'hars
FACTION: New Jedi Order
RANK: Padawan
SPECIES: Codru-Ji
AGE: 22
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 5'11"
WEIGHT: 190
EYES: Hazel
HAIR: Dark Brown
SKIN: Dark Tan
CREDITS: 0(?)
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Diagonal Scar across his cheek, long diagonal scar across his back, not to mention his slight abundance of body hair.
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

*STRENGTH: 6
Thur'hars currently has slightly higher than average strength for the regular person thanks to the increased number of arms, but he could still be considered weak when compared to his new Jedi peers.
*DEXTERITY: 8
Thur'hars is essentially an animal when it comes to agility. Because of the his racial traits and the nature of his background he could possibly contend with even a few Jedi. He also has a boost in certain situations thanks to the extra arms. (ie. climbing)
*CONSTITUTION: 6
Thur'hars is not the most hardy person out there, especially when compared to Jedi. However, he is above average because of his past and his racial traits.
*INTELLIGENCE: 5-7
Though Thur'hars has created a very strong mental discipline in himself, he is not the most intelligent person out there. He can learn quickly and decisively act on logic alone in many situations, but he still cannot contend with some of the best and loses the mental acuity when his more primal instincts take over.
*WISDOM: 6
Thur'hars has much room for wisdom, which could simply be because has so much room for all the experience he lacks. Though he is far from exceeding his peers in this subject, he is above that of the average person.
*CHARISMA: 5
Thur'hars is not exactly the best diplomat, and the racism displayed almost universally for his people can detract from any hope of relations between him and others, not to mention his professional attitude makes him seem distant in social situations. However, his sincerity and compassion tend to make up for what he lacks with others. He can also talk his way out of some of his problems.

*Codruese 9
Though Thur'hars is a natural of the subsonic Codruese as it is his first language he still can miss a few of the intricacies of the more more formal 'words' he was not as exposed to in his years.
*Galactic Basic 7
Most of what Thur'hars has learned of Galactic Basic has been since he left Munto Codru at age 20. However, in a display of his goal-oriented mind and his intelligence, not to mention how much time he had on his hands, he was able to learn the language well enough to speak both fluently.
He was originally supposed to be more fluent in Galactic Basic, however I am a failure of "upper-class typical speech mannerisms" in English.

*Telekinesis Learned
Thur'hars can move objects with his mind, but only at the basic level.

Combat
*Hand-to-Hand: 5
Thur'hars is skilled well enough in hand-to-hand combat to hold his own for a short time if confronted by the usual citizen of the galaxy or low-life thug.
*Lightsaber: 4
Thur'hars has learned the defensive Form III, capable of holding his own against other low-level fighters, even with his unorthodox adaptation of Form III.

Misc.
*Survival: 7
Because of his past and the racial traits of the Codru-Ji, Thur'hars is better equipped to endure in survival situations that most around him, including a few Jedi. Having grown up living in the woods of Munto Codru as a self-sufficient hunter, he is quite adept at surviving even some pretty ugly situations.
*Hunting: 7
Having grown up learning to survive on his own in the forests of Munto Codru, Thur'hars already natural ability at hunting has surpassed that of many around him. He is considered a natural hunter even by Codru-Ji standards and could track his prey even when he is several days behind.
*Repair/Maintenance 1-4
Thur'hars picked up his repair and maintenance skills for weapons while he was traveling the Galaxy trying to make his way to a Jedi Academy. As such, while he can fix a few things here and there, he only knows enough to ensure his weapons, clothing, and gear are in a good, useful condition. However, he knows little-to-nothing about lightsabers.

*Form III Soresu 5
Thur'hars is just average in his abilities with the normal defensive Soresu Lightsaber Form. He could use more practice/training.

*Thur'hars' 'Unorthodox' Form III Soresu 3
Thur'hars' adapted dual-wielding version of Soresu is under par. Though he can defend with this he must switch between it and the regular Soresu as dual-wielding a defensive style is extremely complicated, even for Codru-Ji.

*The lightsaber he uses was picked up from a mercenary who had kept it as an ornament but died in the attack on Thur'hars' family. The blade has a light green glow to it. This is all he knows of the weapon. When at a Jedi Temple the lightsaber is kept in his quarters.

View attachment 947
*A hand-made durasteel hunting knife tucked usually into a concealed spot in Thur'hars' clothing.

*Training Saber (x2)
Thur'hars keeps one on him at all times so he can keep the availability of his unorthodox fighting style, though when at the Jedi Temples he wears both.

*DATAPAD
*COMLINK

He also wears typical Codru-Ji clothing for those that live outside the main cities: Loose fitting brown pants with green lining and a dark green hunting vest which, though reminiscent of the lower class clothing worn by much of the poor in the galaxy, appears to be in very good condition. He will occasionally wear a green-died loose-fitting shirt under the vest. He has also recently picked up a loose fitted light blue shirt with full blue lining and wrist cuffs that he occasionally wears.

Thur'hars is almost always rather stoic, refusing to show emotion. He has a painful past that will occasionally surface to show his inner chaos. He refuses to be anything but professional with his superiors, but will show that he does have a 'happy' side to him with small amounts of humor when he is with only peers. However, he tends to open up only when around Arikka-Mar, a fellow Codru-Ji and Jedi.

He is uncomfortable in any kind of training situation or mission where peers and superiors treat him in ways other than professional, no matter who he is with, and prides himself on discipline. He is willing to experiment with different things and loves to learn. Anything that can be used to grant peace, whether for others or for himself personally he will strive for with great dedication.

He does have a compassionate side and will go out of his way to help those in need or who are hurting. He is also an avid hunter as well as a person who loves nature, whether just enjoying it or studying it. He is also more easily centered and harder to distract when in natural surroundings.

Ashara Vashee
Though Master Vashee can be rather casual in some situations, she does have an air of discipline about her. She appears a wise and good leader in my eyes and she has my respect.

Gol Erbek
He is quite an interesting person. He has a fondness for dual wielding that has helped in training me with my unique version of Form III Soresu. I'm not too sure how much I might like him because I am unable to gauge his aggressiveness.

Saul Dimash
I respect this man deeply. He is like me in many ways; stoic, quiet, calculated and dedicated. And scarred. But unlike me, he has found a sense of peace.

Alexis Cloudjumper
She is young and ambitious, though perhaps in a good way. She is also rather kind. I do wonder about how professional she might be in certain situations, but this is something to come. I hope that she will be able to face her future with the courage necessary to continue on, though the innocence I see in her may complicate that. I don't know, but further interaction would help with my idea of her.

Deenar Ica
He confuses me. I find him to have a strong ego that dictates much of how he treats others. He can be very disrespectful, however he seems to be put into a better mood after having eaten or when he does something that brings normality back to his life. I can tell he struggles a lot with something in his past, and that it affects him very differently than myself. I wish I knew more about the Force and life so I could help him a long his path.

Arikka-Mar
She is compassionate, kind-hearted, and intelligent. While she reminds me of my sister in many ways, I have come to realize she is an imperfect comparison of Ada. Her humor, non-confrontational personality, willingness to compromise personal comfort for others, and unwillingness to be hard on me stands as symbols that she is a great person. I am glad to call her friend. However, such traits could lead to problems in her future and I hope she will be able to overcome what ever comes her way.

Char Azerand
He's rough, and he's not much of a talker, but if he walks his talk the man has more respect from me than just about any person I've ever met. Especially for standing up for what the Jedi are supposed to be.

Nasiri Lavii
I didn't really get much of a chance to know her though she is an interesting woman none-the-less. Any person willing to have the relationship with Char that she does has to be rather interesting.

Larik Novan
He has some intelligence to him, but he seems impatient and jumpy. At least he has the patience to wait a little bit, but I still don't know what to really think of him. Further interaction, if at all possible, would certainly help further my opinion of him.

Arkantos Rajax
He's impatient, impetuous, and aggressive. This Mandalorian Jedi needs his temper fixed and his drive for fighting removed as the way he chooses to fight defies the Jedi Code. While he has the capability to speak as a diplomat he still wants to fight enough he ruins diplomatic reasoning.

Asalla Loani
Asalla makes for an extremely young Togruta, but a rather wise one. Though her quick ideas could have wisdom most Jedi today seem to lack she still has holes to fill up in her logic. None-the-less I respect her greatly despite barely knowing her.

Ebberla Daw
To be honest, the fact that Ebberla Daw is such an important Master in the NJO disturbs me. She has, in my eyes, forgotten what it really is to be a Jedi. I do not know her enough to find reasons to respect her, but the attitude she takes with those who suggest not the Jedi not fighting is reason for a lack of respect.

Teynara Jeralyr
She seems generally reserved to me, but miss Jeralyr has earned my respect with her quiet nature and seemingly refusing to say things that are unnecessary. I also respect her abilities as a healer, as she was the one who taught me how to heal.

BIOGRAPHY:
Family. That's important. Don't let them go.

Thur'hars was born and raised entirely on Munto Codru, the Codru-Ji homeworld. There he grew up learning to hunt as a wyrwulf and use his senses and instincts to survive the wild. Upon maturity he shed his more animal-like form and began growing into his more humanoid body. While his agility was harmed in the process, he stilled kept a greater agility than those his age and even a little older from other races. He was taught as a hunter, surviving alone for weeks, sometimes months alone in Munto Codru forests simply because his father told him to. These were also the times he found himself subject to a force he didn't understand; the Force. This, since he feared what others may to do him, he kept a secret.

Thur'hars was considered to be strange for his non-xenophobic way of thinking and was thusly left to fend for himself - at least as far as his father was concerned. His mother, while still harsh, was unwilling to simple push him out. His closest relationship, however, was with his younger sister. She was a highly compassionate person who cared for others and wasn't afraid to help in a society where "helping" was usually through assisting in ritual kidnappings or helping to pay the ransom thereof. Because of his acceptance of outside races and his father forcing him out of the house on many occasional, his sister would end up trying to help him without his knowledge; a feat she rarely accomplished.

However, nearly two years ago Thur'hars would suffer the loss of his entire family at the hands of a few racist mercenaries while he was hunting. When he returned, the mercenaries were hunting down his father and sister. Despite the animosity between Thur'hars and his father, he went to his aid. Beyond out-matched by these full-body armor clad mercenaries, Thur'hars was forced to retreat into the forest after seeing his sister killed in combat. When he finally returned, he would bury the dead; both his family and the few mercenaries that were killed and left behind.

However, he did end up with 1,000 credits and a lightsaber from the body of one of the dead that was obviously being kept as a trophy. Having heard of the jedi and what they stand for, as well as wanting to do something for those who might suffer loss and hardship as he has, he stuck the lightsaber to his belt and used every credit to get to the nearest jedi academy. Over the nearly two year journey he would refine his mental discipline and martial arts capabilities when dealing with thugs and racist individuals who hated his kind. He would also pick up a skill set from various mechanics and weapons smiths to keep his gear in great condition.
All I have left is helping people and the Code. Without those, I am nothing.

Just before turning 22, (two years into his travels) Thur'hars had finally found himself at the center of most galactic relations and the home of the most famous Jedi Temple: Coruscant. With no money to buy food he made quick work to get to the temple. When he arrived he was greeted by several beings who seemed to be Jedi, though his only indications were the lightsabers on their hips. He would ask to be seen to join the Academy, then he would plead his cause before several Masters. He gave little indication of why he left Munto Codru, though he didn't know how much it would matter.

He did hear some of the Jedi speaking amongst themselves deliberating something that, though it was about him, didn't have to do with his entry into the Order. When asked about his experience with "the Force" he was not able to give anything definitive. Once it was explained to him he was able to relay that it occasionally happened when he was either sleeping or hunting - small bursts of speed, an oddly perceptive point of view that allowed him to see ahead of movement. Small things while hunting. He did declare that in his sleep it was less a point of luck and more the style of strong winds blowing through the area and tossing everything about.

These things did he reveal to the Jedi and they would deliberate more. They tested him on his ability with a weapon, seemingly gauging how well he did. With a sword he had trouble, but with his knife he did rather well...against a Padawan. They complimented him on his abilities with knives, as well as his ability in hand-to-hand combat.

After he had spent much of he day at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant either answering questions, demonstrating some skill or his aptitude, he was brought before a Master who was distinguished in himself, seemingly more-so than others. The man stared at him for a long time completely expressionless. After what seemed like an eternity, a small smile creased his face and he said something about Thur'hars having much discipline and a commendable ability and willingness to learn. He left off on that, though he wished to speak with the other Masters without the Codru's presence. Within a few days he was brought into the Order, but his stay on Coruscant would last no longer as he was almost immediately shuttled away to a place called "Empress Teta".

On Empress Teta, Thur'hars would find himself with few friends and fewer enemies, despite the attempts of a certain Cathar female who seemed both racist yet easily deterred. Training with Master Ashara, Initiate Erbek, and on his own Thur'hars would learn the basic fundamentals of being a Jedi, including learning the Jedi Code with great enthusiasm.
Great men sometimes have scars. Great men sometimes have swords. Greater men have both, but would take the former before lifting the latter."

Jedi Thur'hars would eventually be accepted as a Padawan under Jedi Knight Saul Dimash, though this would be rather short-lived. He would teach the Padawan how to center himself in the Force and harness it with telekinesis. Thur'hars also ended up making friends with a few people, including Alexis Cloudjumper and a fellow Codru-Ji named Arikka-Mar, who he would spend much of his free time with. Despite his past, and his discipline, Thur'hars would easily and all-too-naturally open up to the young female.
Embarking on his first mission with the Jedi the young Codru-Ji would accompany other Padawans and Master Ashara Vashee to Empress Teta's capital of Cinnagar as a trip to serve as public servants and social helpers. Here he would see actual combat for the first time since leaving home, and his first real wounds.

Actually, should I have added Force powers and a lightsaber form if my character is one that, though he is Force Sensitive, isn't particularly experienced with the Force? Moreso, he has no training and is going to a Jedi academy to get training and all the other stuff stated in his bio. So... Should that be in there right now or should I get rid of it and wait till he has been trained?

I also put "(?)" anywhere I know I need to change something.

Who trained him in lightsaber/Force powers? He would need training if he was to learn.

If you're starting from square one you probably shouldn't put that stuff there.

That's actually what I asked my "reply". Thanks, I'll get rid of 'em.

Looks good to me!

One thing I would recommend is using worded descriptions for the stats. Just makes it clearer what, exactly, he's capable of. Not really necessary though.

Another thing: I would suggest you describe a little more how he came to find and enter the Order. Which Temple did he find? How did he introduce himself and how did he get accepted? How did he feel about it as well? (Feelings are important, and as long as it's not too verbose, it won't be boring. At least in my opinion)
It's fine if his only training is in melee weapons (not lightsaber) and he has no formal training with the Force. One needs to know the ways of the Jedi intimately first before getting into these skills anyway. So the studying part would have been universal for all that arrived as he did. Finally, if you could say when he arrived (how old he was), then that would give us an idea of how long he's had to study these concepts. It allows people that want to work with your character the knowledge of him they'd need to start that (giving a starting point for training and all).

If you haven't already, you definitely should read this. It'll tell you everything you need to know about the Jedi.

See you around, I'm sure! ^.^

A little aesthetic update. Changed the format of his stats, included worded descriptions. Added a little something (though hardly descriptive) about his entry into the Jedi Order. I will add something about his self-training on the disciplines of the Jedi soon from the one RP post. Might add a few sections I think would be usefull and get rid of a few I don't think will ever be particularly useful/necessary/used. Anyways, yeah.

And thanks, Maverick. I'll probably always be in need if critiques. Hopefully I can make a pretty good character eventually and throw him into a good part of the story-line. One day.

Updated People Met and Biography sections to reflect his most recent experiences. Also updated Personality and changed the format of Weaknesses and Strengths. Updated formatting in RP section (and updated RP list) for aesthetic purposes.

Future plans for the sheet include an overhaul of the entire character sheet to provide better overall aesthetics as well as changing the point of view of the Biography. Might include an interview style first-person explanation of who Thur'hars is.

Future plans for character: More training (to include a Healing class as well as solo training to further Force skills and improve lightsaber skills); Future Missions with the Order as well as entering into more Story-related threads that further the NJO. Possible exploration of different cultures and worlds. Might even get him a pet. ;) I am also looking into a mission that tests his discipline and will, though this might take a while.

I might even get into more ambitious plans but for now he is still a noob of a Jedi.
