Terra found herself surprisingly nervous for this particular meeting. It wasn't for Crimson Dawn or Omega Station, it wasn't to become a governor anywhere or even to break into a government installation to extract her family history. It was to meet with the man that was her father.

She'd started digging into the "Din Family" and found that it was actually true... those other Tieflings she had met - and even the one who had recently become a king - all seemed to be related to her. Cousins... apparently.

Not that that was what mattered. What mattered was that the story her mother had always told her of a father who had never wanted anything to do with her and abandoned her as a child was all a lie. This wasn't something that should have surprised her, in hindsight, and she actually was a little bit angry that she had failed to realize that earlier. Her lose, junky mother who hadn't cared for her a day in her life wasn't exactly a reliable source.

Terra's tail flicked back and forth nervously as she started in on her second cup of caf at the caf shop, which was absolutely not doing anything to alleviate her anxiety.

Estarn Din. She turned the name over in her head for the millionth time. She hadn't even known what his name was before her break in. It still caused her heart to beat quickly when she realized that he'd been paying child support and putting in requests to see her for all these years. Requests unrightfully denied by the idiots in the Corellian government until eventually Terra was gone, and there was no way left to get in contact with her.

Terra? she heard the voice behind her before she had heard him approach, tail flicking wildly as she tried and failed to keep it under control.

She turned to see the man standing there. He looked... well, she didn't even really know. He looked like a regular man. He was no junky or backalley criminal, but he didn't seem to be some wealthy businessman either. She didn't know what she had expected, but the thing that she noticed was the look in his eyes, and suddenly none of the rest of it mattered.

She could see the tears glistening as he looked at her, and it cut her to her core.
