jacob followed them to the exit. he watched as they left the ship and walked down the ramp. he then followed them out a bit and leand against the exit. watching and waiting for there acting skills to unfold. jacob was hoping that they succeed and they weren't terminated right then and there. all so he was waiting for deke to give him his orders of what to do. izumi gave deke a reassuring pat on the shoulder and gave him a few encouraging words. then jacob replied with "ya and dont worry boss you cant screw it up that bad" he then chuckles a bit. "or on the other hand you could. only time will tell" he said in a very cocky demeanor. he then saw as the officials walked up the docking bay and jacob knew it was time to shut it. he ended his sentence with "well good luck" he then shut up to allow deke to work his magic

Deacon gave a dismissive wave towards Hana as she made an apology of sorts. He was just thankful to have thinking folks on his team with him, rather than a bunch of dumb brutes. He'd one missions with dumb brutes before, and they just didn't turn out so well. Just didn't. He gave Jacob a quirky grin at his remarks about screwing things up as he made his way off the ship and towards the port officials. They were a professional looking bunch... at least considering that they were on Kessel.

Deacon went back and forth with them a few times about making a purchase for spice. He had the credits and it seemed that that was pretty much all that they cared about. In the end, the amount they would make off the bounty for this Marquis was easily twenty times more than what he was paying for the spice. In his mind, a small price to pay for a solid cover to their operation.

Turning back to Jacob, he stated, "They say it won't be until t'morrow tha' they'll be able to have the spice packaged an' ready for us to load." His attention shifting now to Hana and Lex as well, Deke continued, "So t'nite we've been invited to enjoy the gladiatorial games, though food and drinks will have to be from your own pocket..." He produced a few vouches as he smirked, "Mostly. I was able t'sweet talk them into a few gimmes since we're paying customers."

With that, Deacon handed out the vouchers to those who wanted and accepted them, then glanced over his shoulder to make sure that nobody had snuck up on them before adding finally, "So we all know the plan t'nite. Do your light recon. Get a good feel for the security. Don't get caught doing something stupid. Tomorrow we put together our rough draft of just how this'll go down... if there are any real changes, then we execute and get off this rock as soon as its done." Quirking an eyebrow he finished with, "If there's nothin' fer me; I've got nothin' fer you. Enjoy yer drinks an' le's make it a productive night."

Barring any questions, Deacon clapped his hands and made ready to step off, two vouchers clutched in his own had that he most -certainly- intended on using. It'd been a long flight and he could use a drink. Or two...

jacob looked around and observed the docking bay a bit. there was 2 turrets in this dockingbay each on either side of the dockingbay. they were both manned but they most likely wouldn't in the middle of the night. they would be prefect for a back up defense encase things go wrong. jacob then looked over at deke and said. "so whats next boss"

Having no objections to a night of light recon followed by some possibly heavy drinking and entertainment, Izumi followed Deacon's lead until they got to the actual arena, at which point she split off from the others to mingle a bit. The six of them would look mighty suspicious if they moved around together the entire time, so it made more sense to limit contact between one another to something a little more subtle. She swung by the bar to grab a beer before heading to the area that accommodated spectators for the fights. She was usually more of a cocktail type of girl, but that didn't seem as appropriate at a gladiator match.

Speaking of the match, the current contest between a Quara and a Human was already underway as Izumi made her way through the crowd and found a suitable vantage point. Judging from their attire, the Quara was almost certainly some sort of local champion of sorts, while the Human was probably a slave or criminal. He was big, too, bordering on huge, but the veteran fighter was easily toying with him. The Twi'lek standing to Izumi's left was brandishing his betting receipt angrily while screaming all manners of profanities at the Human fighter in a futile attempt to reinvigorate him.

"You shouldn't waste your breath, he's done. Just look at him, he can barely even stand up, let alone fight back. The Quara's just waiting for an opening to finish him off in style...quite the crowd pleaser I guess," Izumi stated matter-of-factly. She'd participated in plenty of close combat fights during her training, and observed at least ten times as many too, so reading and summing up the action was like second nature to her.

"Bahh! Shut up, wench, what the hell would you know about it? Fighting is a man's sport, so don't stress your little brain over it. He's obviously just giving that cocky bastard false hope, he'll spring the trap any second now! He has to, I've got a month's pay riding on it!" The Twi'lek practically spat his words at Izumi, topping it all off with a terribly disdainful glance before turning his attention back to the fight. She briefly considered the option of breaking his nose to teach him a bit of manners, but it kind of went against the mission objective of keeping a low profile. Besides, the Twi'lek was going to suffer enough when he found out that his month worth of credits had been thrown out the window.

"Yeah, you're right. Oh, whats that? I think I hear a kitchen calling me, gotta go. Cheers." Izumi raised her glass up halfheartedly at the man before turning her back on him and going off to another section of the bleachers. Three, two, one, she counted down the seconds in her head. Just as she reached the end of the one, she heard a loud thud immediately followed by the energetic roar of the crowd. It wasn't necessary to look down at the arena center stage in order to figure out what had occurred. "What a sucker," she whispered to herself while shaking her head slightly.

Figuring that it was a good idea to get the recon over with before treating herself to any more refreshments, Izumi continued to navigate her way through the crowd, keeping an eye out for Lex so that she could check if he was ready to go.

ooc:he is not in his armor he is in evryday atire

Jacob was sitting at the bar watching as the blood hit the arena. Watching as another gladiators career ended like the snap of a finger. He swallowed a shot of his liquor and poured himself another round as they brought out the next fighters to die.
A small man entered the arena and then entered a very big one.
"Ha aint that sh#ty luck" he said as the small man was clobbered by a club.
"well i guess i should get back to business"

He paid the waitress and left her a tip. he then got off his chair and started to walk threw the crowd. The crowd roars ferociously as another man meets his doom.
Dont these people got a life. Jacob thot to himself while walking thrue.
His gaze went over to the arena as he was walking. This time there was a human girl and a twilek girl fighting it out.

ooc:lol i allmost did not remember that she placed herself as hana

The main tavern area of the palace was packed with all sorts of humanoids from all over, having come to Kessel for spice and fights. A wonderful combination. Security was bumped up around the arena and the tavern especially, as it was not uncommon for someone to get all pumped up watching the gladiators, get some liquid courage in them, maybe some spice too, then think they're invincible and attempt to take over the bar. Heh, happened all too often. Most times though, a smack with the broad side of a Gamorrean war axe did the trick; typically knocking the idiot out cold as the crowd applauded and cheered!

Moving to the bar first, Deacon picked up a Galaxy Rush, a new favorite drink of his that he first had at the Outlander's Club back on Coruscant. Taking note of the security within the main tavern area, it was really quite impressive. While Gamorreans weren't exactly known for their intelligence, their heavily-muscled bodies and weighty, broad-bladed war axes were certainly a deterrent. Those stupid enough to get lippy with them or even appear to be defying them, would too often feel that brutal cold steel slap up against them. Most times, the Gamorreans didn't have to use the bladed edge of the weapon. Most times.

Deacon too a large drink from his mug and swished it around inside his mouth. Krath, did it burn!! It was necessary though if he were to get stopped during his little wandering session. Couldn't be much of a drunk if you didn't have an unhealthy amount of alcohol on your breath. The question they should be asking themselves if they stopped you was, "How much blood does this guy have in his alcohol stream?" Heh... As he walked along towards where the refreshers were, Deke dabbed his hand into his mug and sloshed/splashed some drink on his attire, slowly adding a drunken swagger to his step as he continued. Had to play the part.

Undoing his fly, he moved down the corridor, PAST the refreshers, towards what appeared to be a maintenance hallway. According to the layout they had, this could lead them towards the Marquis' bedchamber. Too bad they didn't have a seductress with them. Someone had mentioned earlier how he was known to be quite the lady's man... or shall we say, ladies' man. Point being, if it had two legs (or sometimes even more) and the female parts, along with decent enough looks, it could end up in his bed. Besides, what Lady didn't want a little royalty in them? So far so good down the hallway.

A scuffing sound like heavy, dragging footsteps could be heard just past a corner. Deacon quickly turned about, looking for a place to hide. He'd passed a utility closet about fifteen feet back. Scurrying, he did his best to quietly enter and secure the door... mostly. He wasn't able to latch it due to the tightness of space, but hopefully it would work. Just in case, he pulled his junk out in case they opened the door. If they did, he'd let loose with a golden flow of... well... you get the picture. Thankfully though, the Gamorrean passed right on by. Krath was that close!

Easing out, Deke began to make his way towards where he had figured the bedchamber to be. Coming up to an intersection, it was a four-way. To the left and down some is where he figured the bedchamber. Stumbling out into the open area, Deacon kind of fell into the wall, keeping on his feet. Sure enough, there were a couple of Nikto guards keeping watch at their master's door. One of them called out while the other simply drew his blaster. "Stop right there maggot!!" His basic was only slightly accented. "Get down on your knees!!"

Muttering and fumbling, Deacon responded as he held his hand up which was holding his mug, "Refresher!! I need'a wind like the piss!!" His other hand fondled his junk as he kept up the act, stumbling now down towards the two Nikto. The one with the blaster out was not amused, advancing quickly upon Deke. The other called out on his comm, "Gorgo... get over here. We've a drunk tha' needs t'be thrown out... mebbe into the Arena." Deke didn't care to hear that last part. Right now, he would -not- be playing belligerent, but rather the compliant, wasted drunk. The other Nikto was upon him and had his blaster in his face, barking, "The feck on yer knees 'uman!!" And with that, he swept Deacon's feet clean out from under him, causing him to drop his mug, crashing to the floor as it broke and Deke hit the ground hard.

Right about now, he wished he -was- a little more wasted, so that his body would've been more loose for that fall, rather than tensing up the way it did, only causing more injury. Deke continued to play the drunk, raising his hands as he struggled up from the ground to get to his knees, the blaster still held to his face. The two Nikto seemed set on not leaving their post, rather calling in the Gamorrean from only moments ago to come haul his ass out of there. Well, at least they were committed. Wouldn't be able to distract them from their post. Krath.

The Gamorrean arrived a moment later, snorting and spitting. The Nikto and Gamorrean spoke together in an alien language that Deke couldn't understand. After some shared words though, the Gamorrean barked something at Deacon, gesturing. With a confused look on his face, Deacon tried to ask what he wanted, but was soon rewarded with a hefty kick to the mid-section, nearly knocking the wind out of him as it drove him back against the far wall, smacking his head HARD!! Now was an opportunity to further sell his role. Gritting his teeth as he focused, he wet his pants. Nothing spelled a drunk man than one who had peed himself, and Deke had just let loose.

The Nikto swore and backed off, gesturing towards the human on the floor with a dismissive hand as he told the Gamorrean it was his problem now. The Gamorrean laughed at the bladder-spilling drunk and instead of trying to carry him out, simply grabbed up one of Deacon's legs, securing a hold on his heel with one meaty hand as he commenced to drag him out of the area, and actually through a different path that led outside of the palace... Interesting. Deke tried to remember the way as the Gamorrean seemed to cut through a kitchen area, then a long stretch of corridor, some painful steps up what seemed to be three levels, then tossed him over by a refuse pile where there seemed to be a few other humanoids who had been drunk and disorderly.

The moans and groans from them all was like a sick welcoming to the area that wreaked of refuse, vomit, filth and sweat. If Deacon wasn't sick before, he soon would be if he didn't get out of there soon. The stench was -that- overwhelming. Once the Gamorrean was out of site, Deacon continued to stumble up to his feet, keeping the part going just in case, and began to find his way towards the ship. Once there, he would sit down right away at the schematics for the palace, and try to plot the route the Gamorrean had just drug him. It seemed like there were less guards on that route... hardly any, though the kitchen area might be tricky. Those Nikto guardsmen would prove fun as well.

After a few minutes, Izumi had grown tired of waiting for Lex to show up, and the idea that he may have simply gone off without her also crossed her mind. She didn't mind that too much, never really having been the type that liked partnering up, but this particular situation would have been easier to get through with an accomplice. Going to plan B, she spotted Jacob wandering around not too far away and moved to intercept him. He was a lot less subtle than Lex; much easier to pick out in a crowd. Hooking her arm around his, Izumi abruptly dragged him over towards one of the entrances that led away from the arena and towards the Marquis' residence.

"Time to go see what's up. Just follow me, don't do or say anything unless I tell you to," she ordered firmly. With that, she headed off down the first hallway, checking around the corner as she got to the end. One Gamorrean patrolling. Moving across the hall while his back was turned was just about the easiest task ever. Hoping that the less direct paths towards the Marquis' chambers would be less heavily defended, Izumi's plan was for herself and Jacob to take a slight detour on their way there and either confirm or disprove her assumption.

They moved through a couple of guest rooms and more hallways, avoiding the few guards that they crossed without too much of a hassle. At one point, they even saw Deacon being dragged across the floor by a Gamorrean. Izumi held Jacob back, anticipating that his first instinct would be to rush to his employer's rescue. "He's fine," she reassured him. "He did his part, now we need to finish ours." She wasn't lying, of course, as Deacon was obviously playing the same game that they were. Other than seeming to be rather filthy to go along with his drunken hooligan act, there was nothing wrong with him. He'd simply get thrown out like the others that had taken a few too many drinks and gotten too rowdy. Maybe get beaten up a little, but he looked like a tough enough guy to handle it.

Izumi and Jacob finally made it to the massive study area that she'd identified on the blueprints as being a useful stepping stone towards their ultimate goal. It doubled as a massive library, with heavy bookshelves lining the walls, and there was also a second floor that followed the room's walls, leaving the center area empty. It was that second floor that interested her, as it gave almost direct access to the Marquis' suite. It would have put them right in front of the Nkto guards that Deacon had run into. Looking for a way up, Izumi noticed that there was only a staircase which would have to be lowered from above. She'd have to climb, which would take a bit longer, and there wasn't any time for that since one of the patrols would be making his rounds through the study at any second.

She quickly grabbed Jacob's hand and dragged him over to the huge and presumably very expensive desk in the middle of the room before ripping open the straps on the front of her armor. She pulled the suit down below her shoulders, exposing most of her upper body which was only covered by a black push-up bra at that point, and then proceeded to jump up on Jacob, wrapping her legs around his waist and arms around his neck. From her position, she could see the door beginning to open behind him.

"Throw me on the desk. Make it convincing!" she whispered with a substantial amount of urgency in her voice so that Jacob would understand that time was of the essence. The door was almost completely open. Making sure to sell the act, Izumi started kissing Jacob on the neck passionately while panting and moaning softly as she waited for him to do as instructed. She wasn't entirely sure exactly how the Gamorrean was going to react, but he probably wouldn't be any harsher on them than the other one had been on Deacon. Maybe seeing some skin would even make him more lenient.

This first rule of reconnaissance, by Caelus' standard, was that you've already failed if anyone's seen you move, ally or enemy. Never take anything to chance, and blend in plain sight... for a moment, at least. While at the bar, Caelus didn't take too much to feigning taking a drink. He'd drunk before, and found little tolerance toward it, not to mention taste. Psychic powers and all the elite training in the world was nothing in place of a coherent and competent mind. He'd never sacrifice anything for that.

Caelus ordered an alcoholic drink like the rest, bringing the glass to his lips and forcibly gesturing his laryngeal prominence to make the motion he was drinking. All he needed was an opening. And as luck had it, Deacon made the distraction even a Jedi couldn't miss. As the 'drunk' Deacon wavered about, attracting the attention of the bouncers, Caelus pulled his hood down slightly further, shrouding his face in shadows and darkness. Caelus bent down behind the back side of the bar counter and used his psionic powers to conceal himself. He had to be especially careful in using his powers here. Being seen randomly becoming visible out of nowhere would arouse suspicion, to say the least.

Caelus swiftly moved his way toward the back entrance of the bar, leaving his heavy blaster rifle behind. If all went well, he wouldn't need it anyway. As he slowly moved the back door open, he quickly closed it, and ceased the use of his powers, only to see a young Zabrak kitchen boy carrying a cart of dirty dishes staring directly at him. Although the words "Oh Kark!" came to his mind, Caelus kept his composure and put his index finger over his mouth, motioning the young Zabrak to keep quiet.

He then saw the young Zabrak's face light up with interest and excitement, and Caelus again motioned the young Zabrak to keep quite, all the while, entering his mind and planting a psychic suggestion within; You will forget what you have seen here - everything. Caelus watched the young Zabrak's face become almost disoriented, as his lips began to silently motion the words Caelus planted into his mind. As he left the young Zabrak to slowly become coherent again, most likely confused over the gap in his memory, Caelus exited the kitchen area and found himself in a long corridor. Running into a kid was lucky - he couldn't take a chance like that again.

Caelus moved quickly down the corridor and into the other hallways, making periodic stops to observe his surroundings and watch for any patrols. After several minutes, Caelus came across an armored door. At first, he assumed it was an armory of sorts. As he prepared to peer through to see what was inside, Caelus quickly hid himself in a mantainence closet after hearing faint, rythmic hissing. From the crack of the door he left open, Caelus could see two Trandoshans, likely patrols, walk past him.

As they approached the door, one of them pulled a key card from a belt pocket, and slid it against a panel near the door. The heavy armored door then opened, revealing a bright room filled with electronic monitoring systems and security cameras. It was the control room, the center of security. Caelus saw an oppertunity he could not ignore; as the Trandoshan opened his belt pouch and dropped the card, Caelus discretely telekinetically jerked the card just before it fell into the pouch, pulling it in through the small crack on the closet door.

Caelus now had the means to access the security control room unhindered... at least practically speaking.

Jacob followed izumi. He was quite and curious of what she was up to. When he saw deeke Jacob was ready to fight. But izumi held him back and reasured him. Jacob trusted she was right and calmed down And continued to follow her. Jacob followed her down the halls of the base and into a huge library. Jacob smirks a bit. A library ha i never thot id have any reason to be in one. He thot to himself. Then all of a sudden izumi quickly grabbed Jacob's hand and dragged him over to the huge and presumably very expensive desk. She ripped open her armor and said to make it look convincing. A bit confused Jacob looks over to the door."oh i get it" he said as she started to kiss his neck and moen. Jacob held her from the waist as he picked her up and put her on the desk.He then began to make out with izumi. Not fully understanding the situation but totally swept away by the moment. The gamorian was a bit shocked catching the two of us getting intimate. He snorted and shouts a few times. Gesturing his hand for us to get out. Still a bit confused he pauses. And returns to his snorting.

With his previous actions within the 'palace' having drawn a good bit of attention, Deacon's reconnaissance was done for the night. He'd have to wait until mid-day tomorrow before he could show his face in there again. That was fine enough by him as he had a good bit of data to take into account and plot on their hologram. He'd be able to plug in the location of the Nikto guardsmen, as well as the route that was used to throw him out of the place. Still sore and filthy from the roughing up, pissing himself, and drag through the refuse, Deke ignored it as best as he could while he plugged in what he could remember of the route while it was fresh in his mind.

Once that was entered, he shed his attire, making his way for the refresher. Krath would it feel good. He had a few sore spots where being dragged across the ground and up those stairs had scraped him up pretty good, but nothing too serious like broken bones or deep, piercing wounds. The soap and water stung quite a bit as he cleaned himself, scrubbing a bit harder than he needed to, though it was not a waste of effort considering just -what- he had been drug through. If he ended up getting an infection, that would be the end of a limb, he was certain, heh. No need in risking that.

Placing his forearm against the shower wall before him, Deacon leaned forward, resting his forehead against his arm as he just let the hot water pour down over his rugged form. Closing his eyes, he went over the events that led up to him being thrown out, especially the route, trying to see if he could remember anything different than what he had recorded. Hopefully the others had collected something useful for the mission, be that data, insight, access, or whatever. He'd have to check on making sure that the heavy repeater was ready for Jacob's use. That piece could prove critical. Hearing a noise, it sounded as if someone else had boarded the ship. Deke ran a hand through his hair as he erected his posture, deciding to just stay in there for a few more minutes at least. Krath did that warm water feel good...
