Serenno, Sith Space, 1124 Hours

It had been some time since he had last spent time with Malou but that would cease to be the case now as he had arrived on Serenno. Waiting where he was told to meet the Miralukan he'd pull out his phone and text here real quick.

<<You're laaaaate
<<Wait..
<<How can you read these?..

After his questions he would set his backpack on the ground and pull out a bottle of water from it and begin to take a drink to keep himself hydrated while out in the sun and moving. His outfit being fitted for when they make it to the higher and colder regions of the mountains of Serenno. Once he had drink finished he place it back in the bag and put it back on his back and begin to clean his sunglasses with his shirt before putting them back on.

Once she arrived he would be ready to start their hike.

Malou heard her datapad buzz from across the room. The screen lit up, and the holographic display flickered to life to display the notification.

"How do I read these?" Malou chuckled as she pulled the knot on her blindfold tight behind her head. "Hey Hiri, text Draugr: Spite. I'm on my way."

« Send message: Spite. I'm on my way. ? »

Malou arrived at the chosen spot about fifteen minutes later, dressed in a sensible hiking outfit that also kept in mind the cooler temperatures of the mountain air. She wasn't too worried about the weather though. Malou liked the cold.

"You look like a hipster."

She texted back but he didn't care as long as she was coming. Once she finally arrived he took notice of what she wore. Simple colors, they work. Then she called him a hipster.

"You're blind, you don't know what you're talking about. Besides we both know I'm the king of fashion now."

He said it with clear sarcasm and hint of humor, and he would nod over to the left towards the path.

"Now let's get walking yea? I wanna get the full view at the top."

He began walking but at a slower pace to keep stride with Malou. Also allowing for conversation to accumulate between them. Otherwise it would be a very boring hike.

"So if you could choose one to ride into battle would you ride a dragon or a chirodactyl? And why?"

Malou exhaled sharply out her nose when he declared himself the king of fashion, amused more by the absurdity of the statement rather than the sarcasm of it. "King of fashion?" She'd be surprised if Bonheur could dress him.

When he declared his desire to get moving, the Miralukan nodded and headed up the path. The woman hadn't stepped foot into the Serennian wilderness since she and Veles had wandered drunk out of Castle Wessex. But the weather was a nice cool breeze, the sun was out, and she was happily not drunk.

It was shaping up to be a nice, relaxing walk with someone she'd shared a mutual desire to kill about a year ago!

"Dragons? Chirodatyls?" What sort of question? "Uh, a dragon I guess. They look cooler." A mount seemed a bit archaic to the Serennian. Why take a mount when a ship didn't cry out in pain when a blaster would hit it?

"You?" Malou figured if he'd asked the question, he had an answer of his own already prepared.

A dragon. Of course she would think a flying reptile is cooler. Simpleton. Draugr chuckled at the reason she had given, it was straight to the point and honest. Something he liked about her was that she wouldn't beat around the bush. If she thought it she said it.

"I suppose my reasoning is close to the same reason as you, but I prefer the Chirodactyl. It's a beautiful and strong creature that can resist the pain of a lightsaber. It's durable, reliable and relentless. If enemy are left standing in front of it, they won't be for long."

Draugr was proud of the creature. It was a native to Dathomir. He grew hearing the stories of the beast and when he finally seen one in person it was massive and strong and fierce. He saw a lot of himself within the beast. It instantly became his favorite beast to ride.

Making way up the trail he would look out and see the scenery. It was glorious. So many other mountains, so much green vegetation. It was definitely worth the hike to get to the view, though he wanted the top and there was still a long way to go. Luckily for him he came with someone he can actually stand being around which was shocking.. he wanted her dead some time ago, and now he considers her a friend, if not then a very good acquaintance.

"Look at that view.."

He chose the Chirodactyl. "Are those not native to Dathomir?" She was pretty sure, now, that they were, and that offered up a better explanation as to why he'd choose it over a dragon. Malou still felt that riding into combat on a living creature was a liability. If they could fight seperate on their own, that'd be different.

Draugr would find that despite the casual gait of her step, the Champion would easily match his pace no matter the steepness or roughness of the terrain. Her concern, visually at least, was less with the vastness of the view and more of the little details around them. She could see the irregular shape of the pebbles, the rough bark of the trees, and the little hairs that sprouted from the stems of certain plants. But when he spoke up, asking her to look at the view, she figured, why not?

The aura of the Force in the area would thicken as Malou's Sight burst outward, trading tiny details for the overall forms of trees and the mountainside. With concentration, she could see out for miles.

"There are a lot of trees," she would comment plainly as she diminished her point of view back down to what she would consider normal. "There is a pretty large lake on the other side of the mountain. You would probably find the view nice as well."

As he looked out he assumed she used her extra sight to see it all. It was truly magnificent how the force allowed for that type of enhanced vision. There was truly no end with the abilities of the force. He knew there was so much to offer with it and knew he wanted to become the most powerful one to ever do it.

"I'm sure there is a beautiful lake on the other side. I admire that sight of yours. It has a lot of pros."

He would take another drink of water before closing the cap and moving again to make progress once more. It was nice to have her around once more, even if she wasn't the most enthusiastic person. Draugr himself wasn't very enthusiastic either. It comes naturally after years of war. It hardens you, changes the way you see life, and the galaxy.

"Have given teaching an apprentice any thought?"

He had this conversation on Ploo with her before. He was curious as to know if she had thought that teachings would be a good idea after all.

"He admires my Sight?" It was a funny thing then, that the next thing to pop into her mind was the memory of her, Tiamat, and the then-Xeno out on the balcony of Castle Wessex. Specifically, it was the memory of him complimenting the view and asking if she agreed. "That's a change of heart." From what she understood, he'd meant to be rude then, even if she'd initially found his comment amusing.

She agreed that her Sight had its advantages, though it was not without its downsides. Being unable to discern color was often a bit of an issue, and reading proved difficult if the letters weren't raised or projected in some way. She would accept the compliment - the declaration of admiration - anyways. "Thank you."

They began to move again at about the same pace. He soon asked another question, and it was a familiar one at that. Still, she found herself moving to respond with the same answer as before: "I don't think I'm ready for that." And why was that? "I don't feel...up to par." Up to par with what? "Artorgias." He'd seemed so...put together when he'd first started training her. He was invaluable to her. She knew that she couldn't provide that same level to another.

"How's Senin?" She hadn't heard from him in a while.
