Gett'se tried to focus on his flying as he winced at Tommy's screaming echoing loudly in the small cabin. He could understand her terror, knew why she wanted him to fly as fast as possible away from this situation, but he also knew that wasn't an option. Thankfully she managed to get ahold of herself after missing the first opportunity for a shot. Continuing his loop, he lined her up with another shot and she took it, screeching jubilantly as the I-Beam fighter behind them exploded into flame.
"Great Job. Now hang on." He said as the deflector shields bled with laser fire, the ship rocking with each hit. Pulling back on the throttle, the Y-wing suddenly lost momentum, shuddering to almost a halt as the I-Beam fighter behind them rocketed past, it's lower cannon barely missing the cockpit.
Pushing forwards on the throttle and lining the Y-wing's nose up on the I-BEAM, Gett'se squeezed the trigger. A trio of twin beams lanced out to take the fighter in the engine. It bloomed into an explosion. Scrap peppered the Y-wing, pinging off its hull and flames washed over the cockpit briefly obscuring their view. And then they were through. The scanner read no more contacts.
"Good shot gamer." He said as he steered the ship towards the planet. They broke through the atmosphere and approached the scrap fields, a sprawling landfill that covered most of the planet. A graveyard of ships and junk from far and wide. Bringing the ship in to land about ten kilometer's out from the bunker like he said, he was fairly certain that they were as close as he could get without drawing the attention of the anti-air cannon.
Popping the hatch as soon as the ship settled on its landing struts, he stood up and surveyed the area, stepping onto the hull of the Y-wing before hopping down. The paint was more scorched than it had been before, definitely getting to be time for a fresh coat.
"Welcome to Attahox." He said as he offered a hand up for Tommy if she needed help getting down. "You ready for a hike?"
