In the hyperspace...

In the background, the jukebox was playing a catchy song...

Marco slid through his restaurant, cleaning the tables before they would arrive on Naboo... Tapping with his 3rd pair of arms around the diner, while holding with his other 2 pair of arms: 2 rags and 2 spray bottles filled with lavender-cleaner... To the rhythm of the music he sprayed the cleaner on the table and cleaned it with smooth movement... with finishing the tables he made an elegant spin and danced his way to the bar where he again would spray the cleaner to the rhythm...

After a few spins and turns, the music got suddenly quiet... *BEEP BEEP BEEP* which was the signal for Marco, that they would soon leave hyperspace...

The blue rays of the hyperspace stopped, and in front of him was the beauty... as blue and green as in the stories he had been told...

He took a few minutes to look at the planet, completely stunned by this beauty... But he would soon have to make a move, or otherwise the grand opening would be on the next day... So he fired up the engines and headed for theed...

Theed...

The Satiety slowly but elegantly descended onto the planets surface... one passing through some thick clouds he could see the beauty in the light of the sunrise... The galaxy wide known city of Theed... Immediately visible, the royal palace with the courtyard... But little time had Marco, since the target was a very busy spaceport, where many ships would fly in and out... "Theed flightcontrol, this is The Satiety, I would like to request a long-term landing bay...", he said while waiting for an answer... "This is Theed flightcontrol... go ahead and land in Landingbay 4-1."

Descending a bit faster, he made his way to the landingbay... and at the very bottom of the cliffs, he looked for his landingbay and was quite satisfied with the placement of it... it had no roof, but this was not something what the Satiety would have needed... it was located close to one of the main dockyard roads which meant, that it was pretty easy to get to The Satiety. Slowly decreasing the repulsorlift's power and landing softly on the landing bay...

Excited he turned around and made his way to the droid-recharging bay. He then switched the droids on quickly and said:

"Ok, Ella, Susy, Bessy it's time to make the dream work. Ella make the kitchen ready... Susy and Bessy just look after the entrance and the tables, that everything is in order."

"Ok, Marco.", they said all 3 at the same time and made their way to the kitchen and the restaurant area...

Marco made himself ready, put on his bartender clothing and made his way to the restaurant area and started to decrease the boarding ramp in the restaurant area. As soon as the ramp touched upon the floor, he went out and looked around the spaceport... and standing there looking up to the palace was quite majestic... hopefully the amount of customers would be as majestic...

Awaiting the first customers, Marco started the jukebox and made the last preparations...

Aden was very intrigued with the idea of a space diner inside of a freighter. It combines some of the things he likes into one page: Both starships and drinks. Naboo was also lovely this time of day, and he just happened to be on it. It was a 'Grand Openning' to.

Very much interested, a stomach that's feeling a bit light, and wanting a drink, He would go up the boarding ramp. Aden was pretty familiar with the Corellian style freighter, once he goes up the ramp instead of seeing what would be a cargo hold, he would see a bunch of seating and some droid staffing, and a bar over yonder.

Aden was wearing a casual outfit for his stroll on Theed and it's spaceport. As he would pass by who appeared to be the bartender (@TM98) he would smile and nod "Hello there Nice stablishment." in a friendly manner.

After taking a seat at the table, and after getting a menu, he would then look to see what suits his fancy for today. His eyes immediately looked towards drinks. Some of the cocktails were pretty interesting he wondered what the "Jedi Mind Trick" was. The "3 Layered Death" was also tempting.

The spacer would mull over what he wants. Decisions, decisions.

Marco was behind the bar, cleaning the glasses, when he heard footsteps coming up the ramp... Very much excited he would look who it was... It was actually a human... He made his way up the ramp and said, that it was a nice establishment... Marco smiled because he knew then, that somehow his work payed of... He sat down at a table which was located in the middle of the ship... He grabbed a menu from the middle of the table and looked into it...

Marco wanted to serve the customer himself... it was his first one on this ship... So with a datapad he made his way over the bar quickly... stopping Suzy saying: "No I will serve him, go and look if you can help Ella in the kitchen..."

Suzy turned around, making her way to the kitchen...

He made his way to the table and stood on his bottom pair of arms and said: "Hello Sir, first I want to congratulate you, you are the first customer in this establishment... Which means, that your first drink and food would be for free... I see that you got stuck in the cocktail-section... Well if you want my recommendation for a strong one to get nearly instantly wasted, I would recommend the 3 layered death, but be careful, if you want to consume it, then you would have to do it the right way: You will not stir the drink, you would drink it as it is... and you dont drink it all at once, otherwise you can say goodbye to your intestines... If you would like to have a safe option, then i could recommend any other drink of course... the Hoth Long Icetea or the "Jedi Mind Trick" was a classic back on Ardennia... So what can i bring for you?"

With a smiling face he would wait for the answer...

Oh! Nice, a free drink and food on the house. Feels like an honor. Now Aden has options. He listened to what the bartender had in store. He was already tempted on the 3 Layered Death, but now that he thought of hit more, the more he wanted to do it. His callsign was 'Bravebird' afterall. Not 'Safebird'

"You know what? Lets do it. I'll take the three layered death" the spacer would confidently smile as he would put the menu down.

He just has to try it. Aden is a frequent drinker so it's not like he has a weak stomach for alcohol.

Marco waiting for the young man to make up his mind, suddenly got carried away little bit, thinking about the things he would have to do, but got interrupted quickly when Aden said, that he would like the 3-layered death...

"Well, a interesting choice, I hope you know what you are doing there...", he said and swung himself back to the bar...

Back at the bar, he got to perform his art. His arm swung around, taking one of the shaker, tossing it into the air, so it was swirling around... with an other arm he placed a glass at the working space... The other arm grabbed the brown looking liquid alcohol and tossing some of it into the glass, while the other arm pulled a white bottle (butter milk) from the shelf, placed it next to the shaker... he now got a little bit of crushed ice and started to fill up the shaker with it, then adding the butter milk... he closed it and started to shake it... in the mean time an other arm grabbed a orange looking bottle from the shelf and placing it right next to the glass.

He shook the shaker pretty hard, suddenly stopped, added a bit of thickener, closed it, and kept on shaking it... Then he quickly poured the white liquid into the glass and added the orange fruity juice on top... He quickly picked up the drink, made his way to Aden and said: "Here you go, the 3-layered death... enjoy!" ...

[Edin Frost]

Edin was in what he called ‘soft retirement’. After killing multiple high profile diplomats, he had made enough money to live an easy life without working again. However, he missed the thrill of the hunt. The assassin still kept up with his training, ensuring he wasn’t losing his touch. With the collapse of the Alliance and the New Republic, the galaxy was going to get cutthroat. He couldn’t help but get back out in the field.

Being in ISC space was risky, but he was good at keeping his professional persona separate from his civilian one. The Firrerreo strode into the diner, drawn in by the nice grand opening deals on drinks and food. Despite the vast amount of earnings he had accumulated, Edin was always frugal.

He popped his shades over his head as he walked in, giving a jut of his chin at the other man there. He sat at the bar and gave a fanged grin to the owner, “Rancor’s reward, please.”

[Arla]

Arla had heard about a flying restaurant and her curiosity got the better of her. Perhaps it was that it was the same spirit as the Galactica: a wandering service center. She'd come to Naboo to look at some of the local real estate, but things in the market were competitive and she had her own hesitations about settling down on a planet that was so critical to the ISC.

She ascended the ramp of the shipstraunt and was immediately greeted by an upbeat but fun song carrying over the overhead speakers. A couple of other patrons were already perusing through the area, and she slid into a seat at the bar near to one of them, picking up a menu and silently looking through it.

I'll have one of those, too, she said as she heard Edin order a Rancor's Reward. Fruity and related to rancors (even if in name only) what was not to like about it?

She kept perusing the menu for a few moments as her stomach rumbled. Yes, it seemed she might be hungry for some real food as well.

Do either of you know what is good here? she asked the two men near her.

Marco was happy how his diner developed so far, his first customer seemed happy with his drink and soon we should see, if he was able to withstand the amount of alcohol this drink had to offer...

Marco was cleaning the bar, when a young gentleman (@Edin Frost ) entered the diner... The Man in the shades, just went past the table of @Aden Archer and made his way to the bar... Marco stopped cleaning and immediately got one of his shakers ready... Before Marco could say hello, the man would order a Rancor's reward...

Marco grinning, took a glas, and started mixing the drink while saying to Edin: "Ahh A man who knows what he wants, I like that... Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Marco Torano, I'm the owner of this establishment... The first drink today is on the house, due to the grand opening... if you have any other wishes just let me know..."

He swirled around the shaker, playing it onto the counter... while one of his arms grabbed a dark pink bottle behind him. The other arm, opened a drawer which was an icebox, took the shovel and filled the glass with ice. The other arm would then, immediately afterwards pour the dark pink liquid into the shaker.

Quickly he would place a cutting board in front of him and slicing up some fruits, placing one slice of it directly over the ice... he then would put the rest of the fruit into a blender along with some berries and mix it up, till it got a very liquid consistence... Marco puts away the foam and now pours some of the fruit juice into the shaker. Adding a bit of crushed ice, he then would start shaking the drink in the shaker... and after 30 seconds, he would place the glass carefully in front of Edin, while pouring the drink slowly over the fruit slice he had just placed... "One Rancor's Reward... Enjoy!", he would say grinning to him.



Shortly after some cleaning of the bar, Marco saw a lady coming through the blastdoor (@Arla )... The lady who looked quite happy, went to the bar looking around... after she took a seat, Marco said: "Welcome to Torano's Space Diner, my name is Marco Torano, Due to the grand opening, the first drink would be on the house... what can I bring you today?", he said, while looking excited at the young lady, which sat quite close to Edin... When she said, that she wanted one of those too, looking at Edins beverage, Marco would say: "One Rancor's Reward... coming right up...".

After swirling and throwing the shaker around a bit, he would start again with making the Rancor's Reward... The glas would be carefully placed on the counter, with the ice and fruit slice in it and Marco would slowly pour in the drink for presentation... "Enjoy my dear.", he said with a big smile and turning around to clean up the working space...

"Thank you kindly" Aden said when presented with the three layered death. Aden thought he shouldn't, there was hesitation in his arms, but he powered through it, picked up the glass, and started slowly sipping it, not being careless with it as forewarned by the bartender. Even with just a sip, it was... very potent would be the words he could describe.

More people came into the bar. One of them has a face that seems to somewhat recognize (@Sreeya). although he can't seem to place it at the moment, having difficulty recalling. He would reply a gesture raising his hand in greeting with a nod back with a grin on his face, still feeling the potency of the drink. "Hello there." he said to him, after he would order his drink from the bartender. "You seem familiar."

Next was the head of the Apex Contractors (@Phoenix)? This place is already attracting a bunch of top clientele in it's grand opening. And for suggestions. "You should probably try out the Torano Burger, medium-rare. Shaak meat is usually good." he said. Usually these kinds of places have their 'flagship burgers' that they pride themselves on, which tend to be really good. Aden thinks he might go for one himself.

[Kotii Solus]

Naboo used to be what Tatooine was today, though perhaps always a bit more lush and pleasant. But as hyperlanes were explored and progress was made to connect distant systems Naboo became a halfway point between the outer rim and the core respectively. In all of Kotii’s years, this was the first time he was visiting Theed for longer than a few minutes for a refueling and resupply.

Today the man was hungry, thirsty, and a bit curious to say the least. The booted legs of Black Hand carried him up the starboard loading ramp which served as the Satiety’s primary entrance for patrons. The man lost sight of the paint job on the outside as he entered the ship but it was no less interesting inside.

Kotii looked across the establishment from behind his personal Mandalorian visor. Even through the helmet he could smell the faint scent of lavender that was not outside. He took in a deep breath and already felt his body relax slightly.

The Mandalorian garbed in armor and weapons, licensed of course, approached the bar and rested his wrists on the counter top a few feet to the side of a few other patrons. From there he looked at the menu and around to see where the best seat was. He did not want to spend his whole time at the bar but would order from there.

Silently for a moment he regarded the menu. His eyes scanned past the spirits, not interested in getting drunk and opted for a non-alcoholic drink. “I’d like a cassius tea, iced, with a straw, please.” He spoke in galactic standard basic when it came time to order. His voice had a faint Corellian accent that leaned more Mandalorian than anything these days. The hints of his ancestry and influences never changed even when his armor was different than it used to be.

Kotii debated ordering the shaak hot-stew. He did not want to make himself vulnerable and take off his helmet in front of strangers. But the man was hungry and he had been eating the same packaged food for literally the past month. He needed to eat something good, something hearty and maybe even remind him of home. “Is the hot-stew just temperature hot or is it spicy hot?” He would still order it either way. But he wanted to know before possibly ordering anything else if his taste buds were going to be fried for the rest of the night.

[Edin Frost]

Edin flashed the bartender (@TM98 )a fanged grin as he took the drink, “Cheers, Captain Torano,” He said with a wink before taking a sip. He looked over at the woman (@Phoenix )who asked what was good, “It’s the grand opening, doll, I think today’s the day to find out,” He said cheerfully, deciding that he quite liked the drink. He dropped a few extra crowns (ISC currency) for the bartender.

He looked over when a guy (@The Good Doctor )mentioned he looked familiar, “Is that supposed to be a pick up line?” He asked with a chuckle. In truth, he recognized the man from a bar years ago when he lost a drinking game and passed out on the floor. Edin seldom forgot faces - it was critical to remember details in his line of work. However, he wasn’t going to do anything to help jog the man’s memory if it wasn't necessary.

His eyes took in sight of the Mandalorian (@Darasuum )that strode in. The sigil looked familiar, and it matched that of one that commanded a high price, “Where are you badgers holed up these days, anyhow?” He called out cheerfully, “Put his tea and stew on my tab,” Edin called out to the bartender while referring to Kotii.

Thank you, she said as the multi-armed bartender passed her drink across to her and she took a sip of its fruity deliciousness. It did seem to hit the spot, and Arla couldn't complain, nodding to show her approval.

Arla shrugged at Aden's suggestion and decided it sounded good enough for her.

What's better, the Torano burger or the Panna cakes? she asked, deciding that she would let the man who actually owned the place tell her what was best.

Food, drinks and acquaintances...​

Armed from head to toe a Mandalorian (@Darasuum) entered the diner... Marco Torano heard stories about the Mandalorians... a battle-hardened folk, where fighting is considered a tradition or a way of life... A lot of clans are spread all over the known Mandalorian-settlements throughout the galaxy each having their own way of doing things... Marco couldn't resist to ask some question about their kind... He heard stories, that some don't take their helmet off and calling this "The Way"... and he certainly wanted to know if that would be the case... yet the question got quickly answered...

The Mandalorian chose to stand at the bar, looking at the menu silently... Marco swung over to him and said: "Hello and Welcome to Torano's Space Diner, my name is Marco, today is our grand opening so the first drink is on the house... so what can I get this dangerous man?" after Kotii answered he said: "Right away sir."
He got right to work, and got a prepared cassius tea from the fridge. While his other arm grabbed a glass and shoved some ice in it... touched off with a bit of cassius syrup, which made the ice look a bit brownish, yet still with the clarity of the ice intact... slowly he poured the cassius tea into the glass, topped it of with a leaf of mint and a straw...
"There you go, a Mando-Tea 2.0" he said, while he placed the glass on the counter with a grin...
After being asked by the Mandalorian, if the stew was spicy hot or temperature hot he just said: "We can do both if you want... but its normally temperature hot and a bit spicy hot...", while carefully listening to the others debating about what to order, and what would taste good...

Marco didn't get involved in the talks between @Sreeya and @The Good Doctor, yet said to Edin after saying cheers: "You got it boss!" and cleaned up the bar... Edin also dropped some crowns, which Marco thankfully accepted...
After hearing that Edin wanted to put the Mandalorians drinks and food on his tab he simply replied: "Yes sir."
Marco was a bit confused though, because he didn't order the food yet but Marco decided to just order one anyways and went back into the kitchen for a second...

Marco smiled after seeing that Arla (@Phoenix) liked the drink, even if it was just a nod... after they have discussed what to pick, Arla decided to ask Marco what would be better, the Panna Cakes or the Torano Burger... Marco smiled leaned over to Arla with a big smile and simply said in a soothing voice: "Depends... I personally think, that Panna Cakes would be a great choice if you want it sweet and satisfying or you can have it the Ardennian way... spicy, exotic and succulent... which would guarantee an unforgettable experience..." he leaned onto the counter, excitingly awaiting her answer...

[Kotii Solus]

Kotii watched the proprietor and multi-limbed bartender expertly craft his beverage of choice. "Thanks." His gloved hand wrapped around the glass. Before the badger took a sip though, he decided to finish placing his order. "I'll try your usual and I'll take it in the booth." He pointed towards one of the alcove like tables off to the port side of the ship (14 left) but would not walk to it yet. The stew would set the standard and if Kotii wanted it spicier then he could always order it again. But the man was happy to just have a flavorful meal. He was not living on Krownest anymore, afterall.

The Mandalorian's Marked red and black helmet turned to his side so off duty assassin both knew he was looking at him and for Black Hand to get a better view of him. Something about the individual seemed familiar to the Hunter. The Solus returned to looking forward silently as he tried to place the man but as he looked at the tea in his hands he remembered the Big Gulp that another hired gun had been using. Byblos had been years ago but Kotii was confident it was him with each sentence. Small galaxy.

Once again his helmet cooly turned to regard Edin but only after he threw a question his way and offered to pay for his food and drink. Beneath his helmet Kotii's eyebrow twitched up momentarily. Perhaps the man had recognized Kotii as Black Hand. Whatever the case he was privy to Solus's appearance which was more than what most citizens knew. To most, all Mandalorians were alike but instead he had called him by his tribe's iconic representation. It was different than just the usual 'mando' he got from the everyday scoundrel.

"Is that supposed to be a pickup line?" The Mandalorian raised his straw under his helmet and took a sip through the straw as he looked sideways at the man with what was a cheeky grin underneath. Edin seemed like the type of man to be after something and it could very well be his beskar clad badger behind, but either it was just as likely hired help, Hauron's head, or something else. Regardless, Kotii was not about to seriously share such details with an outsider.

As news about Ploo IV replayed on one of the viewscreens Kotii let out a pleasantly-surprised murmur and stirred his drink slightly, forgetting what he was going to say next. The cassius tea was delicious. He would make a note to leave some credits as a tip regardless if he paid for any of his own food or drinks tonight.
