Arador remained sitting on the ground. They could travel to the more traditional locations to search for crystals. But with the Republic, the Hutt and the Sith placing a target on the backs of jedi it is too risky.

The boy stood up, "As much as it would be adviseable to go to Illum or one of the other planets to search for crystals. It is far too risky even if we went disguised as civilians. I say we search here. Since there is a small temple here. There must be crystals here as well." The teenager looked to Alek knowing that the jedi will leave Arador to search for crystals on his own while telepathically remaining in communication with the boy.

“Yes there are, I know of a few caves we can look into, but these haven’t been used in some time. So we have to be carful when exploring.” Alek then paused then continued “when you think your ready we can go to a few spots, but where done with training for today you did enough.”

Arador listened to Alek. It was obvious that the man has been here before since he knows so much about the planet. And possibly knew that no one will come looking for any jedi here. Plus if anyone did they can hide in the dense jungle or the caves Alek is talking about.

The boy was honestly relieved that training for the day is finished. After realizing how long and hard the two have been training the teenager now feels how exhausted he is. But the boy is still energetic as always. So recovering from the day's training didn't take long at all, "I am ready to start looking." He turned to his crystal wolf pup and patted his thigh, "Come on girl. We're heading elsewhere." He watched the pup get up and trot over to the two jedi. He then looked to his big brother, ready to get going.

About an hour later Alek is cutting through the lush jungle only using his blue saber not the yellow one to clear a path. With his somewhat younger brother close behind then a clearing came he stopped the group and began to talk. “Ok this is the spot.” A deep virtical hole was in front of them “Now it’s not too deep for us to jump although it is dark, do you want to jump yourself or hitch a ride on my back?” Thinking that his Arador may need help, but was fine if he didn’t.

Arador was closely following Alek as the older jedi cut through the dense jungle with his blue lightsaber. The teenager's pet staying close as well.

He came to a stop when a clearing was reached with a massive hole that was a vertical drop to the bottom. The problem was that he couldn't tell where the bottom was and so it made the blind teenager a bit uncomfortable with jumping in. As much as hitching a ride would be fun, the boy was eager to show that he had no fear of the dark hole in front of them. He face a couple or Acklay and a Kryat Dragon for crying out loud, so this shouldn't be that much scarier.

The boy looked to Alek, "I can jump in on my own. Since it is not too deep." The boy looked from his older brother to the hole in front of them. His pet went to hide in some bushes as the teenager stepped to the ledge of the hole.

Swallowing his fear of the cavern opening he took a deep breath then jumped in. In no time he reached the bottom of the hole. Greatful that there was soft dirt and moss to land on since his landing was not so graceful. In fact he landed right on his bottom with a quiet, "Oof!"

Alek watched as his young brother told him not to worry, as he stepped to the edge of the hole. Alek watched him jump then moments later let out a small complain of landing, Alek rolls his eyes and smiles, then steps to the ledge himself now jumping down Alek could feel the bottom was nearing he sticks the landing next to Arador “See not so bad, now let’s get moving the main cave should be ahead a little ways from here.” Helping him up and igniting his blue saber again leading the way. Alek was exited that Arador was doing this, a real trial of a Jedi knight, as they traveled Alek spoke “If you try, I bet you could feel the suddle vibration in the force givin off by the crystals even from here. I mean there are thousands apon thousands here but only one or a select few will be right for you. It would be wise to keep in mind that you don’t choose them, they choose you.” Alek knew this well he had spent hours himself trying to find his crystals, he was really frustrated at that point in his training. But once you take the time to not fight against the force it is less difficult, though still quite a task at that. As they walked Alek asked “Before we get there now would be a good time to ask any questions, as for when we arrive I will only observe you and cannot help. As we cannot leave without you completing the task.”

Arador watched his brother land next to him after hearing and feeling his approach. Okay perhaps.he could have had a better landing than the one he had. The teenager stood up with his brother's help, dusting himself off after he stood up, "Great. Can't wait to get started." He said with a hint of excitement as Alek ignited his.blade and started to lead the way.

The teenager listened to Alek, he knew that the crystals are special. But he didn't know that the crystals chose the person. Now how exactly will he know when a crystal has chosen him? Arador guessed that he would feel it through the force, "How exactly will I know that a crystal has chosen me?" He asked curiously as he followed Alek, his eyes narrowing a bit as he felt the vibrations from the crystals up ahead.

Arador asked how crystals chose their wielder “Crystals live through the force, so they use it as a tool to guid is to them. The crystals respond to our place in the force, how we act, talk, fight, feel, etc. and they decide if you are to wield them in your saber, does that make sense?” He asked wanting to give him clear information. They came closer to the main cave as they talked, Arador was close to the task at hand.

Arador listened to Alek as he explained how the crystals choose the person who will wield them. It was interesting to the teenager as he listened. The boy nodded, "Yes it makes sense." He told his brother as they got closer to the main cave, and his task.

The boy was starting to feel some anxiety as well as excitement as they got closer. With it the vibrations he was picking up from the crystals intensified as though they were pleased with his excitement.

Now they had entered the main chamber of the tunnles crystal formations everywhere could be seen. “Alright remember what I said, connect with the force let it flow and you’ll find the what is right for you, just as I have.” He watched Arador wonder around just trying to get his bearings on the area. But he was ready Alek knew this as he sat down crossed legged and floated slightly in meditation waiting for Arador to find his way. The crystals have a warm glow off them as they lit the chamber, Alek was calmed by it feeling everything through the force. His own crystals became more active with the environment, so this was a unique time for the two of them.

Arador followed Alek into the main chamber, looking around at all the crystal formations. He imagined the chamber to be a cold place, but now diacovered that it is infact the opposite. The chamber was a bit warm and the crystals glowed a bit.

"Yes, Ori'vod." He said before wondering off. The slight glow of the crystals caused the boy to have to try to get his bearings as he walked around. The steady dripping of water tapping shallow water pools was calming, almost tempting to make the twenager go to sleep. He could feel the individual vibrations of the crystals, but none so far were calling to him. Without looking back to his brother and mentor, Arador wondered deeper into the cavern.

As he got deeper he started to feel that one was reaching out to him. It felt like sweet, excited vibrations. A crystal that was vibrating with eagerness, and wanting. It was a bit tough to stay on the 'path' to find the crystal since he had to wind his way around larger crystals. But what confused him was that the crystal was not in view when he got to the spot where the vibrations felt the strongest at. The boy looked around as it felt like now the crystal was singing to him with it's vibrations. He looked up, no it is not up on the ceiling of the cavern.

Looking down the boy heard and felt the singing became stronger. He couldn't see that one of the crystals in the somewhat shallow pool in front of him was glowing a bit brighter than the rest. With his force sight all the crystals had the same brightness. But he knew the crystal calling for him is in the pool since as he kneeled the vibrations picked up dramatically. Looking into the pool of water as he firmly placed a hand on a rock jutting out of the cave floor next to him, he slipped his hand into the pool. Reaching all the way down until he felt the crystals with the tip of his fingers, his chin was touching the water now as he felt around. He kept feeling around until one 'zapped' him. He jlhas found the first crystal, but the boy couldn't get his hand around it. Closing his eyes the boy connected himself to the crystal then used a gentle pull with the force. It almost seemed that the crystal was eager to go with him because it floated straight into the palm of his hand.

Now grasping it gently, as though the crystal is a delicate creature he was rewarded for it as he got a glimpse of what the crystal looks like with normal vision, "Wow.. So gorgeous.. And warm." He commented as he saw what the crystal looks like, the soft glow it gave off that was slightly brighter than the others. And it was as warm as though it was bathing in the planet's sunlight. Then the image in his head faded to how he sees now, but the warmth is still there, and the connection to the crystal still established. Standing up the teenager looked at the crystal in his hand then started to walk in another direction since he didn't feel any of the other crystals calling to him. The one in his hand still felt like it was calmly singing. Like it was matching some of his emotions, his eagerness, and ability to stay calm to name a couple.

Alek could sense Arador had found what he was after, he set himself down and stood, then walking in his direction. “Have you found what you were looking for.” He called to his young brother now smiling, he finally finds him and puts a hand on his shoulder as all the crystals surrounded them. “Well done Arador, now all that’s left is to construct your saber with this.” He waited for anything he may have had to say or ask as they stood in the cave. He was happy and proud of this moment as he had been waiting for it for quite some time. Knowing Arador was becoming one tough Jedi and this filled Alek with pride and was glad the boy had taken the training so well.

It was not long after finding the first crystal that he found the second one up on the cavern wall. The secind was a bit more difficult as he had to jump and climb for it. Almost like the crystal was testing him. The third attempt and the boy had it in the palm of his hand.

Jumping down to the cavern floor, the blind teenager looked to Alek as his older brother approached him, "Yeah I got them." He showed the man the two crystals that are now resting in the palm of his hand. The two living objects vibrating with with a variety of emotions. Almost tuning out the rest of the crystals in the tavern as though they were trying to get the boy to be in tune with them and only them.

The boy was beaming with excitement and pride having completed the task on his own. Yes it was a bit difficult but he got it done. Proving he can get anything done he sets his mind to. And soon he will he as strong of a jedi as his brother, "Thank you.. Though..All I have to say Ori'vod is that I noticed that they seemed to have been testing me. One was hidden in a pool of water deep enough that I had a hard time detecting it. Then the other was an obstical of it's own that was just as difficult.. It was interesting." He told Alek as he put the crystals where he will not accidentally drop them.
