Her technical writing ability isn't actually that bad. She's no worse than the vast majority of other Star Wars writers, and quite a good deal better than more than a few. It's her take on clones, Mandos, etc. that I don't like. I already didn't like the Clone Wars era, and Mandos were kind of cool, but to me, she played a large role in ruining them.

That being said, I have no problem with her other books in different settings. Thing is, GoW is wright (lolniner) up her alley, and this isn't going to detract me from the game.

This doesn't matter, the majority of GoW fans don't play the game for the compelling story, they play for the brutal violence and combat, which I don't think Traviss will have anything to do with.

Besides, once she started comparing fans to the Taliban, I couldn't figure out why people still liked her. Oh, and I normally avoid bandwagons - I've even avoided buying MW and ME just because I want to be independent.
