Pretty much, since Raider seems to be very competent with space battles, he will also have control over the space part of this battle. If you want to, you could have control over the land portion if the enemy reaches land.

Of course we will only be able to RP what the space and ground forces are doing. As our characters will not be able to take part in this battle because we are engaged elsewhere.

Not necessarily. I mean, the odds of having an NPC character just as good as your PC character(In regards to tactics and such) are pretty slim. If you play the Head Honcho of a Navy, and have to NPC "Commander Slimtick" then it's only fair to lower the 'effectiveness' of your maneuvers or make them slower. Essentially, purposefully do worse. That's if we wanna be fair and keep the abilities of the Commanders IC rather than OOC.

So in all this time, we've never actually had Coruscant? I thought that was eventually taken care of before I got there. And if it wasn't taken, then how have a hundreds of billions lived without dying of hunger in 4 months?

So why are we feeding them, I thought we trying to control more areas, not have a mere semblance of control? And how come no one really gave me a full progress report of where we were and what we were doing and how much stuff we had when I took over?
