Imani is looking to restore Tython. I need six Jedi, maximum, to join her. Jedi will be paired and sent on their own individual missions (one for each pair). Of these individual missions, one will be in space and two on ground.

The plot will be nine threads in total, for you credit hoes out there.

Also, fair warning, there will be a time limit on all threads involved with the high potential for death if you do time out, because if there's one thing I hate, it's a stalled or stagnating plot.

P.S. this interest check is not first come, first serve. So, no offense.

Just name or link character below if interested. Or hmu on discord. Thanks.

I'll go, as long as it doesn't involve Fen getting eaten by a leviathan.

Thanks everyone for signing up! Just keep in mind about the time constraints.

The first thread, which is just a quick gathering, has been set up. All those tagged, or who voiced their interest to me, are welcome to post. Those that were not selected for the missions above are under the "optional" tag.

But just because you weren't picked doesn't mean you can't be part of this plot. Details about that will come tomorrow, along with the mission threads I'll be posting myself. Thanks.

All threads and missions now posted! Sorry for the delay.

Everyone is recommend to dice-roll or self-DM, of course. And participants are expected to post every 24 hours. But as default, you will have 48 hours before timing out. Which, I'll add, will result in me stepping in to throw a dice on your character's life. For instance, if @Malon times out with Wyck:

(D10) Rolling to see if Wyck is killed by the opponent he now faces:
[dice]d10[/dice]

If the character isn't currently facing an enemy, one will be introduced. Time out again, another roll be made over that new enemy. However, if you are facing an enemy, then the roll will kill if successful. So:

EDIT: Wyck you lucky motherf...

EDIT 2: If you think these guidelines are too harsh, hmu. I'm sure we can work something out. Thanks.

The guidelines are way too harsh. I demand that every time someone times out a die roll be made, but to decide if Wyck dies. He lives to 900 years, that's equivalent to having 9 lives. He can take a few deaths.

If this is still open or available, Venatus is quite good at killing abominations and other maleficent entities. And I know I'm not in the thread, but you SHOULD ALWAYS have death saving throws, and the players should roll for their characters deaths. There's a reason most if not all tabletop RPGs have that system in place, otherwise the DM will very quickly become disliked, no matter how amazing they are.

If you want to incorporate a D10 Rolling system, consider adding health as well, or at least the three death saving throws like is most common. Wyck gets a critical fail and it then knocked unconscious, he had three saves to roll. If he gets above (# you set) three times, he returns to battle with a second wind. If he fails to get all three, he remains unconcious but is stabilized. If he fails all three, he passes into the Living Force.

That's my two cents :)

Opinion noted.

If you want to join in the plot, you are welcome to post in the final battle thread that will come up soon, or during the open reclamation thread at the very end. The latter would be preferred, however.

Thanks.

So...not that I don't enjoy a good just in time story...but if Imani just went up against one of the most powerful abominations in the galaxy and survived a collapsing great hall wouldn't she be just as exhausted as Wyck and everyone else fighting? She needed even the help of Force Spirits to defeat the not!Balrog and now she's just waltzing out into this battle like NBD.

Not that there is no reason for Imani can join, just rather how seems convenient.

Wyck only reached that level of exhaustion after fighting the abomination (and its army), taking a direct hit (which knocked him out for a bit), and fighting for several rounds in this recent fight >.> I don't think her coming in and saving us is at all out of the question, especially given her level.

I get why Wyck is exhausted, but if Imani was fighting a beast that was one of the strongest in the galaxy, that would mean it would be a level 4, and at the time she was a level 2. I just didn't realize leveling up to 3 mid-RP is an HP reboot.

If it makes any kind of difference, I've got a draft of the DM post that has the effectiveness of Imani's attack limited to being a distraction for some of the Abominations. It's effectiveness is varied across the battlefield and if people are surviving/winning their little fights it's because of their own actions in the previous post with Imani's attack providing a bit more of an opening but not actually killing anything itself - again, not sure if that makes any difference to the discussion

Cut the sass. It's not required.

One of the spirits in the last thread revitalized her. Afterward, all she did was punch down a final pillar. That, and her attack was not meant to kill anyone, but rather attempt to distract them— as @Nefieslab put it.

But I've made edits. If you have anymore issues, clarify in a separate OoC thread or PM. This is an interest check.

Thanks.
