How about I just remove all of my posts?

I'll restore them.

You entered into this RP. You can continue RPing in it and legit fight the battle that you're now in, or you can basically have your character roll over and die. These are the consequences of a war-based settings. Most of the time you live, sometimes you die.

Per Brandon.

I can also vouch I know what it is like to lose a character I put work into. It sucks, sure, but sometimes it just happens. As a friend told me, if you are going to die in the thread, then make it a real good post of them going out. If possible that is.

So if you must, just salvage what you can from the character and put it into another character without them being an exact duplicate of the original.

Or I could erase him from the boards and pretend he never existed. Either option is sound to say the least. Take the Alistair route. "not listening! La la lala la!"

Sure, if you want to act like a child, be my guest. We'll just rule your character dead, and all other characters can react to that accordingly.

Your call. I suggest you take the mature route, because if you intend to remain on this website then everyone involved with this thread is going to remember what you did the next time they RP with you.

Dude, don't be that guy when it comes down to these sort of things. I can assure you, as Brandon said, people in the thread and those watching the thread will remember how you acted, and will have possibly second thoughts when it comes to RPing with you.

No one wants to play with the kid at school who always complains when he does not get his way in the game.

... With what you said, he's dead either way. Either he dies away from his clan, face-down on the floor from a broken windpipe, or he's executed by A'den as a coward.

Honestly, I cannot think of how to redeem him. He could survive, but should swallow a bullet instead. Better that than Death by Admin.

Besides: I moved on with my RP. I'm using my BA nameless gungan gunslinger. Do not get me wrong: I lived Drrel. I screwed him up, and thus his death will be fitting. That is, unless Admin has a better way for him.

I really don't see why you need to rule him dead. The worst you're facing is having him tumble to the ground, get up and have to fight Xeno's character. I don't get where all this concern about character death is coming from...

And FYI, the reason I overreacted is because this brings back painful memories for me.

From August of last year through January, I lost 6 people in my life: my great uncle (he was like my grandfather), my grandfather (who was my dad for 18 years of my life), and 4 guys I was supposed to deploy with. I could do nothing to save them, and honestly, that hurts. Since then, I have had deep-seated depression, insomnia, and violent mood swings. Hence why I'm escaping my pain.

Sorry to air my dirty laundry for God and everyone to see, but I had hoped I could escape my pain, and I felt I needed to explain my actions recently.

Dude, he's not going to die from a single neckblow. A blow like that would at best incapacitate, not never kill. At best he'd be knocked out and wake up with a killer headache and a bit of trouble breathing for a short while, but he'd prob just be down on the ground.

While you didn't ask for my advice, I'll say this. I get why someone would want escapism when it comes to losses like those. However, this is a war-based setting, for the most part. There are other things you can do in the RP where you don't have to worry about situations like these, but not if you're intent on RPing a Mandalorian soldier. Perhaps you may want to think of something less dangerous for a character.

I'm sorry. It's just being powerless scares me to death. It isn't that Drrel is likely going to die. It's that he is the culmination of the people I lost and everything I want to be. He turned into what I am: a weak, sniviling child, crying in the corner, begging for the nightmares to end... I may be a soldier, and my soldier side is brave, but me as a civillian, I'm weak and a coward.

EDIT: It has been brought to my attention that my previous post was uncalled for. My apologies.

Edit: It's cool, Loco. It's just a tad personal and kind of a tender area for me. Sorry I lost my temper.

And to everyone: If anyone has an issue with my actions, I apologize. It's nearly been half a year, and I still have issues. Forgive me, for I am human. Drrel will be erased and a new Mando will replace him, if that's okay with everyone. He reminds me too much of what I've lost.

Five pages into that RP thread, with chaos galore, and I'm just now remembering that I'm in this thread. Lol.

Evidently TD warheads are a no go, so I'll be changing that to a standard warhead and really delving into that Force-sensitivity of Apollo's so that I can toss that power from my fingers as opposed to from my armor.
