Mid could feel the conflict building in her. The emotion welling up inside. Before he could even say anything, it all came flooding out. He was surprised. So the Jedi could feel after all? And here he thought they were all just drones.

But he could feel the sincerity of it all. She craved whatever this was, but at the same time she worried about her commitment as a Jedi. Just like he worried as a Sith. Without even realizing, he gave her a gentle hug against him. "Well...who says anyone needs to know?" he said simply. "Come on. Who will know of it here? The raiders? The insects?" he joked with a smile. His hand came up and cupped her cheek, ushering her to look up at him. "It can be our little secret here...who's to say it can't be our little secret elsewhere?" he asked her with a soft, gentle voice.

Of course the one thing going through his mind was WHAT ON KORRIBAN HE WAS THINKING!? She was the enemy! A heretic! A Jedi!

But on the flipside, wasn't the Sith way about passion? This was what it was. Passion, with the potential to become something so much stronger. Certainly freeing in a sense. They were playing a dangerous game, but who says they can't play it right? There were ways to keep it secret.

"Of course, if the Force deems it so, can this not become something more?" he asked her, his face slowly drifting closer to hers. "We will never know what the Force has planned for us. So why bother asking questions?" he asked her with a mutter.

Keep it a secret. Could she keep something that would affect her so deeply a secret? She couldn't fool the Force. She couldn't ward herself against the temptations of the Dark side, her hidden craving for love. She feared it. She feared her passion, she feared that it would consume her. That she would eventually ask for more and more, until she'd fall. And she couldn't allow that to happen. After all, the Jedi code was clear. "There is no passion, there is serenity."

When Mid mentioned the Force, however, Sakadi wasn't sure what to do anymore. He was right. She considered it cruel, but from a different perspective, this second meeting may have been fate.

In a last ditch effort to stay true to her morals and beliefs, Sakadi responded. "I can't commit.. I'm afraid to be left behind.." she conveyed, with a soft mental voice. She had never been as honest as she was now; if she would accept him, accept this... she wouldn't be able to continue without it. This entire situation made her angry at herself. Here it was, exactly what she desired, presented to her. And even as she faced it, she had her doubts.

A single sentence, with heavy implications would echo through the Pureblood's mind, the Sephi staring at him with sadness and hope alike. "Promise me you won't leave me behind Midwan Samekh..."

She was lost and confused. She wanted to give in, but she was afraid of what could happen. He was too. While he kept it hidden from her, he was afraid as well for both their parts. If this grew into something and someone found out...the results could be horrific.

The words that came next made him focus on her. His jaw clenched as his eyes focused on hers. The answer from this question held countless dangers and more questions. For a few seconds his gaze was hard and focused on her. He didn't blink. Then, without warning, he leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on her lips. If that wasn't an answer, his next word most certainly were. "Never. I promise." he whispered to her and gave another kiss. He pulled her onto his lap as his eyes closed, savouring the very special moment between them. This could potentially be the first and last time they would have something like this.

So keeping up with the thought of this being their last time for something like this, Mid intended to make the best of it. His hands shifted and he picked Sakadi up, not breaking the kiss as he carried her effortlessly into the tent...

******

The rays of the early morning sun crept up and into the tent, stirring Mid awake. In his arms was the Sephi Jedi, the both of them in various states of undressing. The blanket and bedroll kept them warm enough...though their activities made sure they didn't freeze through the night. He pulled her closer into his chest to try and shelter her from the rays.

She gave in. The usually composed and proud Jedi Knight gave in to her emotions, as she passionately kissed the Sith back. It was wrong in so many ways, but it felt right. It really did. For once, she let go of the rules she so strictly followed and allowed her heart to take over. Not just because she wanted it, but because the Sith Lord made her a promise. A promise she wouldn't forget anytime soon.

The morning after was a strange one. She woke up in the arms of the Sith Lord, almost completely naked. Again. She had a lot to explain to her fellow Jedi if any ever found out. She had slept with a Nightsister and a Sith Lord, yeah that wasn't going to be easy to explain. Still a bit sleepy and actually quite comfortable laying on Mid's chest, Sakadi closed her eyes again. What had she gotten herself into? She wanted this relationship, but how could she possibly stay with a Sith Lord? It was the most extreme possible variant of a long distance relationship.

Half asleep, Sakadi would reach out to Mid again, her voice soft and gentle. "How are we ever going to make this work? Meet once a month on a desolated moon?" she joked, as she reached to hold his hand.

Sakadi stirred in his arms, bringing a smile to his face. By this time he was keeping his mind open to her for easy access. It was dangerous. It wouldn't take much to get into his thoughts or feel what was going through his mind, but he trusted her. It was very strange to think about it like that, but he trusted her not to pry.

She asked him how this was going to work, something he had been thinking about himself. As she reached for his hand, he beat her to it. He took her hand gently and brought it up to kiss the palm of her hand before planting a kiss on her lips. He looked her in the eye, bringing the blanket up to cover them some more. "I was actually thinking along those lines." he admitted with a chuckle. "Only just a little more...livable." he continued. "Rishi, Naboo, Scarif, maybe even Dantooine if you can manage to convince me to go there" he explained gently to her, caressing her back with his free hand.

His warm and lighthearted attitude shifted as he looked at her with intensity. "Sakadi..." he started, wrapping his arms around her to hold her close to him. To make sure she was listening to him. "Just promise me you'll stay away from any more battlefields. Me and you can still fake a fight easily enough, but I won't be able to help you if you run into someone else. Not without bringing both of us under scrutiny." he said to her with a serious and stern voice. He wanted to make sure she was listening to him. He doubted she would listen, though. He was a soldier, hard and tough and stubborn...and she was no different. All he could do was pray she would use that brain of hers to think for herself...and to be a good actress when it came to live weaponry and real fights.

He sighed as he relaxed again, running a hand along her back. His fingers brushed over the imperfect skin where his lightsaber plunged through her, feeling the spot before he glanced down at her again. "What will it take to get you to listen?" he joked with a light laugh. He was actually feeling bad about the wound. He didn't say anything, though. It was a fight and they knew the risks. She also got him pretty good, clearly audible by the rasp in his breaths.

The sun was steadily creeping up and heating the sand. He glanced around and gave a slight click of his tongue. "We better get dressed and get moving." he said to her, giving her a light poke in the side to make her squirm as a joke.

"You find yourself in a lucky position talking to me, unlike some of my more bloodthirsty compatriots I don't think torture would help... Instead I want to help you. Your life as you know it may be over, but you can begin again. Tell me you got family? A wife? A girlfriend? A sick father? Or a kid that's scared wondering where daddy is? I can help them but you need to help me in order to do that..." Amur was busy interrogating some nameless prisoner who fought for the Rebels. The information wasn't critical though she had heard that getting anything from had been difficult. Rather it was just a way of keeping her persuasive muscles toned. She brought the man tea and was drinking some through a straw under her helmet something that was quite common amongst Mandalorians she head. Everything was just simple and routine.

"And please understand that if I can't get anything from you they will start torturing you, they will track down everyone you remotely hold dear to break. I don't want that, I don't want to see another person's life so senselessly... The Sith was about to continue when something odd happened to her. She felt her knees get weak and a strong desire to be wanted, to give in, to resist any and all things that said no and say yes. But to what? She wanted to be held and coddled and embraced but it was so out of nowhere it terrified her. Then she felt herself give in to this feeling and suddenly a wave of embrace and pleasure was overcoming and she let out a small moan. She had to get away, to retreat into privacy and find out what was happening to her.

"I... ahh.... will continue this later-ooh." She said moans of satisfaction and passion escaping likely confusing the crap out of the poor soul. Amur was now blushing profusely under her mask as she ran out of the interrogation room. An Imperial officier was now following her asking her what in the name of the force caused to stop. Amur's response was to shove the man against the wall with the Force centering it around the man's neck to choke him a bit as well as she walked away. He didn't dare follow.

The confused Sith retreated to the apartment she was allotted electing to stay the night to try and understand these new sensations. Before eventually drifting off to sleep...

chami-collado-pantallazo.jpg

Waking up to the morning sun her silhouette highlight by the window she rose up feeling more relaxed than ever she could feel a warm embrace the type she never felt in years. The embrace of a lover. The sensation triggering memories of her old life, her old love... A man who turned out to only be a snake. This feeling quickly turned from sensuous to suffocating as her mind knew that this was just lies. It was all a trick, an act. Feel comforted, feel needed, feel desired so you'll give up everything to maintain. Enslave yourself to an addiction that turned you into a predator's play thing. She started to breath heavily as her body entered an almost fight or flight like state.

Then... She found herself not looking at the Apartment she slept in but the morning desert. She was now looking at a Sephi... one she recognized but never having her seen in such a exposed... state. Amur wondered if she could look back at her see her as she was for herself in a similar state, wearing nothing but a light grey tank top and underwear. But really the truth was that Amur was paralyzed with shock. She could tell there was someone else there as well but not one she could tell. That other person as all but a light fuzzy haze. Like a camera out of focus.

"This can't be real." Where the only words out of her mouth.

Her joke turned out to be an actual option for them, as Mid listed a few examples. Was that something she wanted though? Meet him once a few months, in a place so far away from home? Dantooine was always an option, but if he were to be discovered on that planet... No, that would be terrible. Couldn't they just buy a secluded moisture farm on Tatooine or something? She liked that idea. A secluded farm, away from society where they could spend their time together, just the two of them. Perhaps they could build a farm on Naboo, and invite friends over for the Festival of Light. But who would she invite? Vash maybe? Or Eithni? Come to think about it, she had very few friends who would understand how she felt about this. Her old 'friends' would understand, but was she ready to return to a life like that? No.. Perhaps someone more disconnected from the conflict, like Funani? Yeah, that sounded like a better option.

Sakadi snapped back to reality as Mid continued, wrapping his arms around her. What he said next though, rubbed her the wrong way. Did he restrict her from entering battle? That had to be a joke, right? He couldn't expect her to stay safe, while he would keep on fighting for his empire. No, she would absolutely not accept that. She was a pacifist, so she wasn't even supposed to engage the Sith as much as she had done the last few months. As she was about to protest against his statement, he seemed to have caught on, as he immediately followed up with some lighthearted humor. His rasping breaths made her realize he was right though. He was just as injured as her, and they were equals. She knew there were stronger Sith out there and definitely stronger Jedi. If either of them were to meet one...

A poke in her side pulled her out of her thoughts again. As she was about to ask him why that was necessary, however, she felt a dark and cold presence looming over her. It was different from Mid's, she was used to his presence by now. Like his though, this one was familiar. And it seemed to afflict her in more ways than one, as she felt the sudden urge to fight or run from whatever was upon her. Sakadi shot up from her comfortable position, as she sat upright to face the uninvited observer. She covered her still bare breast with her left arm, as her eyes narrowed to look at the dark side presence. And it was not what she had expected

She looked at a woman, in her underwear, sitting on a bed beside a large window. A lot of thoughts shot through her head, as she tried to determine what in the name of the Force was going on. Slowly, Sakadi started to realize who the woman in front of her was, thanks to her scarred face. Amur..

She had met the Sith Acolyte a few times prior. They had clashed on the remains of Mandalore and worked together on Zeltron. So... what was this? And where exactly was she? The Knightess was delighted to see that Amur was just as confused as her. It mean that this was no some ancient Sith Alchemy she had inflicted upon her. No, this was a twist of the Force itself. As Amur voiced her opinion, Sakadi's ears twitched. Why in the universe was she able to hear her? This wasn't a dream, no, this was real. So... could she communicate? Did she want to communicate? What if she accidentally summoned the Sith here? After seeing this strange bond, nothing seemed impossible.

Quickly glancing at Mid, Sakadi came to the conclusion that he couldn't see the Acolyte. But could he sense her presence? Judging from his surprise due to Sakadi's sudden movement, he wasn't able to sense Amur. And yet, she was looking at the Sith.

She bit her lip for a moment, as she made the decision to reach out. Unlike the Acolyte, she couldn't just utter words. She relied on telepathy; but would it work? It felt like she was already inside Amur's mind, without even trying to probe it. In fact, it felt like the Acolyte was in her mind as well.

"Can you either turn around, or go away? I don't know what kind of Sith magic this is, but I suggest you end it right now." she conveyed with a harsh and authoritative tone. Of course, she knew that Amur wasn't behind this. But perhaps the Acolyte had an idea of how to break this strange connection.

The arrival of her telepathic message, her sudden fight or flight instinct and the image of Amur suddenly made her realize something. Were they connected through more than just images of their positions? Slowly, Sakadi moved her right hand to her left arm and pinched herself hard. A sharp pain jolted through her body, but she kept her gaze tightly on Amur. Did she flinch or react? She was by no means a masochist or a sadist, but she had to test it. Would the acolyte feel this? If so, she had quite a lot of questions to ask about what she felt last night.

Sakadi turned to Mid again. She had to come up with a conceivable lie for her strange behavior. "I thought I sensed something, but it appears to be nothing." she stated with confidence. Once again she had to rely upon her talent as an actor. With a shrug, Sakadi gathered her clothes, while she kept her gaze on Amur's image in front of her. If the Acolyte made any unexpected moves, she would be aware of it.

Sakadi suddenly shot up, surprising Mid. He sat up as well. Partly because he thought she sensed something he didn't, partly because she pinched a rather important organ between his legs. He gave her an annoyed look as he tried to soothe the pain.

She looked off into the distance. Her emotions were all over the place, distressed, angry, afraid. Mid looked at her in confusion. She glanced at her then back to the spot. He followed her gaze, but there was nothing there. He did feel a presence, though, but he couldn't identify it clearly enough to recognize it. "Sakadi? What's wrong?" he asked her as he looked at the spot.

After a bit she looked at him and tried to reassure him it was nothing. He gave her a look that told her very clearly he wasn't buying it. But before he had a chance to ask her she ran off with her clothing to start the next stretch of their journey. He sighed and followed suit, getting his gear back on and packing up the camp. Soon enough they were in the car with Mid filling it up with fuel. When he was done he gave the can a shake to confirm how much they still had and put it away. He climbed into the car and waited for Sakadi to join. He glanced at her before starting the car and continuing on with their journey.

"What did you see?" he asked her as he looked at her. "Your emotions are all over the place, Sakadi. And don't think I didn't notice the determined pinch you gave yourself. What's wrong?" he continued, looking on the road again.

He didn't buy it. The Sith Pureblood saw right through her and asked her again what she had seen. The image of Amur had faded away as she had left the tent, but that didn't make it all the more disturbing. How could she bond with.. a Sith? Well, she had to admit, her view of the Sith had changed over the past few months. She wouldn't make the mistake, however, to call the Sith 'good'. No, despite what Mid, Eithni and even Amur had shown her, they were still murderers and practitioners of the Dark side. But considering where she was right now, and how she viewed Mid as a person, Sakadi decided to trust him. To her, he wasn't the Sith Lord known as Darth Kados. But simply Midwan Samekh.

"Fine. I don't know if you know her name.. but I saw a Sith Acolyte named Amur. And I think she saw me..." It was hard to explain to someone who didn't witness it. She didn't want to tell him how they had shared their senses and even their moods, so she kept quiet about that part. But there had to be a better way to explain what she saw... Sakadi shifted in her chair. "Stop the car and sit still for a moment." she exclaimed. If Mid would stop the car, Sakadi would place her hand against his temple. "Don't resist please."

The Knightess closed her eyes, as she tried to recall the exact picture as vividly as possible, before transferring that exact vision, the memory she had, over to Mid. It was an easy task to transfer her accept memory, but getting someone to actually accept and see the memory for a brief moment? That was a lot harder. She just hoped that Mid wouldn't resist, conscious or unconsciously.

"This, is what I saw." she added, as the memory of Amur's appearance and her single uttered sentence would be visible to him.

Sakadi didn't even need to ask Mid to stop the car. When she told him her name his eyes went wide and he slammed the breaks of the car, bringing it to a very quick and jarring halt. He slightly turned in his seat to look at her with wide eyes and a mouth slightly open. "Amur?!" he asked her a bit louder than he intended. "What do you mean you think she saw you?" he continued with eyes boring into Sakadi.

She reached out to him and placed a hand on his temple. He did as she asked and cleared his mind. His eyes closed as he focused on their connection. He saw the picture in his head. Amur, sitting in her room and looking right at him -or Sakadi in this case- and him staring back at her. He pulled back and stared at her with wide and confused eyes. "Why on Korriban would Amur be appearing to you?" he asked her. He looked ahead again and sat back, running a hand through his long black hair. He didn't say anything as a number of things ran through his mind. "Do you think she saw me too?" he asked her, looking back to Sakadi.

He had a theory over what this was, but he couldn't be sure. Why would it happen between them? He placed a hand on Sakadi's shoulder as he looked her in the eye. "Sakadi...how do you know Amur and where did you meet?" he asked her seriously.

This was not good at all...

His reaction wasn't much different from hers. How could Amur have possibly seen her? It made her feel a little at ease that Mid didn't directly know what it was either; as a Darth he was a master of the Dark side. Now she could rule out the possibility that it was some sort of Sith magic. She doubted that this was something a nightsister such as Eithni was capable of either. No, this was a twist by the Force itself. It led her straight to the next question; had Amur been able to see the Darth? If she had seen him, they were undoubtedly in trouble. In very, very deep trouble. She would probably be exiled and him... She didn't know how the Sith handled these kind of situations. And she didn't want to know either.

Rubbing her chin with her hand, Sakadi thought of what she saw and felt. The image of Amur had been sharp and so were her surroundings, but she had only sensed Amur and no one else. Neither had she seen anyone else. That was logical of course, for it was the private bedroom of the Acolyte, but still. Not a single presence had stood out to her, except that of Amur.

"Judging by what I felt," the Sephi conveyed thoughtfully, "I don't think she sensed your presence, I even doubt she saw you at all.."

Just as she voiced her opinion, Mid's next question followed. It felt a little like an interrogation and she didn't like it, but she understood why. They were both well versed in their respective sides of the Force, so it was better to share her knowledge than to try and figure it out on her own.

"I first met Amur during the heist on Zeltron, I don't know if you've heard about it." she conveyed as she waved it away with her hand. "But in the time since I first met her, this was the first time this vision appeared. I think it has to do with our more recent meeting." She paused as she remembered what had happened on Mandalore. The massacre, the Dark councillor.. Amur...

"If I somehow got connected to Amur, it happened a few months ago, during the fall of Mandalore. I fought her there, in the presence of a Darth Inheris and some red-skinned rogue Dark side practitioner. He eventually attacked both Amur and I, so we worked together to defeat him. Afterwards, we had quite the ideological discussion..." she explained to Mid. She didn't want to tell him all the details; since it had been quite a battle, both mentally and physically. And battle was not something she enjoyed. She just hoped that this would be enough for Mid to share whatever theory he had.

Mid couldn't deny that he felt a little relaxed when Sakadi said she didn't think Amur saw him. If it got out that he was sleeping with the enemy, things would go very south for the both of them. He listened carefully as Sakadi explained how they met. The first encounter didn't seem too significant...but the second was an entirely different story.

He looked at her as she explained herself, going over the options. When she finally finished, he sat back and brushed the tendrils on his chin like a beard. "I...I have an idea of what it is. But I can't be certain as of yet." he admitted, glancing back at her. He started up the car again and drove off. "There is a slight chance that what you two have is a 'force bond'." he explained to her, getting up to speed once again. "Like I said, I'm not certain. They are extremely rare to occur and it's usually not between opposites. But if that is the case...well, you have a new friend." he continued, ending with a slight chuckle.

If the map was accurate, they would reach the town on the map by nightfall...if all went well.

Mid once more made himself comfortable and sat back with one arm on the doorframe. He occasionally gave a glance to Sakadi, making sure she was alright.

A Force bond... that would make sense.. she knew of the phenomenon, but considering its extreme rarity, not had once had she considered it to be a possibility. That, and she knew no one would had a Force Bond like this. One that transferred senses, emotions, images, sounds... she knew of no examples at all. Not even the likes of master Breaux had a Force bond like this, so why her? What was the reason behind their bond? Why was it so strong? Especially the last questions she asked herself kept her occupied. Even if they had a bond, it was strange that it would be this strong. Amur was nowhere near the Light side and she was nowhere near the Dark side, apart from Mid, that was. So was one of them falling? Was she? Or did opposites simply attract? No, the answer had to be more simple..

Sakadi folded her hands on her lap as she leaned back, thinking about the possibilities. There had to be a breaking point somewhere, apart from their encounter. Her eyes suddenly widened as she came across a factor she hadn't taken into account yet. Or rather, the absence of it. Her former kyber crystal had always been loyal to her, as a catalyst to the Light side. It had empowered her, made her feel stronger and was more in tune with her than the weapon she currently wielded. A weapon with a Dark side core, that tried to spite her at any attempt it was given. Even now she could feel its energy looming beside her, like a hungry predator circling its prey. The blade formerly belonged to Mid, but it was hers now. And she was intent on wielding it. If it obeyed.

"Sorry for this again, but please stop the car. There is something I absolutely have to do." her voice echoed with determination and confidence. If Mid would stop the car, Sakadi would open her door and step out immediately. She could do this. She knew what had to be done, was well-rested and in tune with the Light side.

The Knightess reached for her lightsaber as she moved away a short distance from their vehicle. She did not know if what she was about to do would cause a backlash.

"Please stay at a distance and try to tame your presence. I need to be able to fully draw upon the Living Force for this." Atrer was already dark enough for a planet, Mid's presence would only amplify the power of the obstacle she had to overcome. With a quick call upon the Force, Sakadi seperated the various parts of her lightsaber, until she removed the crystal from it's case. Placing the tiny, blood red stone in the palm of her hand. The Sephi sat down in a meditative position, legs crossed and eyes closed. May the Force be with me... she thought, as she steadily opened up to the Light side and poured the Living Force into the Dark nexus that was the stone resting in her open palms.

Mid gave Sakadi an annoyed look when she asked him to stop again. With a low growl he slowed the car to a halt once more. If she wanted to go do some business she needed to do that earlier. She seemed to have something else in mind, though, and walked away from the car. Mid fished a packet of meat out from the backpack and watched curiously as she sat down on the ground. What was she doing?

It became quite apparent when he felt the ripple in the force. She was attempting to purify her crystal. She asked him to keep his distance and to not interfere, earning a huff from him. He sat back and munched away as she worked on purifying the crystal. It annoyed him to hell and back but he kept to himself. He did as she asked and kept his presence low to not interfere with her. Theoretically it wouldn't take too long to pull that off...unless there was something he didn't know about.

When she finally returned to the car, Mid handed her the half-eaten packet as well as a canteen of water. "You feeling better?" he asked her. With how serious it seemed for her, he hoped she would be more relaxed now. "Let's get to that town." he commented and drove off again. Hopefully they won't have to stop again.

The crimson red kyber crystal resisted heavily as the Sephi called upon the Light side of the Force. It was either the bond she had to the original owner and the crystal itself, or her mastery of psychometry that almost made her recoil. Not because of the physical pain, no it was the emotional damage the crystal tried to inflict upon her that forced her to clench both her teeth and fists. The pain, loss, anger and all of the emotions the crystal had absorbed from both its master and its victims over the years came pouring out now, in an attempt to overwhelm the Knightess. Even in her moment of weakness that was this entire endeavor, she found herself steadfast and determined to see this through. She met the crystal's anger with her pacifism, its grief with compassion and its loss with a lesson in acceptance. She could do this.

Sakadi slowly felt the crystal convert, taking it over bit by bit as she slowly but steadily gained the upper hand, careful not to accidentally crack the fragile crystal with the steady stream of energy she kept on guiding into it. Just as she thought she was about to be finished, however, the crystal suddenly lashed out in one last attempt to throw her off. It imitated a voice from the past, a voice she did not want to hear right now. The voice of the Acolyte named Amur.

"Keep in mind that even if you can see and feel that something your doing is wrong, that your making a mistake that sometimes it doesn't stop you from making it or maybe you find yourself trapped into that mistake, it being the only choice you can take.

As the voice faded away, so did the last Dark side energy that still remained in its core. It felt warmer now, accepting her presence while not forgetting the pain that had been inflicted upon it. Still a bit uneasy from the mental strain, Sakadi stood up and slentered back to their car, faltering every now and then. The words her now redeemed, bright white crystal had imitated were still stuck in her head. Was there some sort of meaning behind it? Was this a warning? An attempt to deceive her? Or was there perhaps some truth in those words, a vision from her crystal that had yet to take place?

Lost in thought, she absently accepted the food that Mid offered her. For the remainder of the journey, she would stay a little absent. Pondering over the meaning behind her newly obtained ally's words in its moment of darkness.

Mid could tell something was bothering her. He placed his hand on her shoulder and gave a slight shake. "Hey. You alright?" he asked her gently. He knew bleeding a crystal was tiring. He could only guess that purifying one wasn't all that different.

The rest of the drive was pretty quiet between the two of them. Though Mid did try to break that silence with every chance he got. Unlike other Sith, Mid actually enjoyed intelligent conversation and Sakadi provided just that. Very surprising for a Jedi. By nightfall they were nearing the town. It was nothing to write home about but they didn't seem to want to kill Mid and Sakadi as soon as they got there. Of course they were weary of the two strangers but after carefully explaining the situation the town was very relieved. Mid's hunch paid off and they were welcomed in with open arms.

They were lead to a shack of their own with some proper food as well. In the shack Mid dropped his gear on his bunk and sat down with a heavy sigh. "Well, at least we made it." he quipped as he flashed a grin at Sakadi.

She trusted Mid to handle the contact with the village. She had been mostly quiet during the rest of the drive, only giving simple 'yes' and 'no' answers through nodding and shaking her head. All while she still clenched the crystal, now warm to her touch, in her fist. She was a little surprised that the village actually accepted the two strangers. The area they were in seemed unfriendly to outsiders, as it was a hiding place for criminals and pirates, carrying primitive technology.

Once they were guided to an empty shack that would serve as their base for a while. Sitting down on her own bunk opposite of Mid, Sakadi stared at the Sith Lord for a moment. "Did we? Our comms are down, weapons malfunctioned, you still have some injuries and I'm not sure we can handle the remaining pirates if they do find us." The Knightess took a deep breath. "All we can depend on right now, is the Force. As it should be." she stated. Trust in the Force, that was the first and foremost thing a Jedi should do in any situation. It was exactly what she would do now.

Mid strolled over towards her as she spoke, sitting down next to her and wrapping an arm around her to pull her into a hug. "We'll be able to rest and recover while we're here. Plus I don't think those raiders will be coming here any time soon." he said calmly. When she mentioned trusting in the force he gave a smile and shook her a little bit. "That...and each other." he added.

He gave her a kiss on the forehead then moved back to his bunk. "Eat up and rest, Sakadi. After this we'll need to figure out how to get off this rock." he said as he picked up his plate of food. They still had a hell of a way to go before they were free from this planet...but Mid felt confident they wouldn't have much issue if they kept working together.
