Rothana was a planet nearby Mustafar that was an important hub and unaligned to any of the galactic powers. Though planetary control would be a great boon to the order Trael was here for something else. Rothana was home to Rothana Heavy Engineering. It's a subsidiary company of Kuat Drive yards and produced a large chunk of ships and vehicles that were used by the Republic during the war with the C.I.S.

Deciding he needed to make some contributions that mostly benefitted the order he settled on bringing in a major vehicle manufacturer. He could've easily went for a planet or bringing in money, but he wanted to be somewhat unique in his usefulness. As a warrior it made perfect sense to expand the potential of the Sith war machine. Though he knew the Order needed to stay hidden, it still needed to be able to defend itself better. This was made especially clear by the attack on Thule not long ago.

Normally he would chose an acolyte who wasn't busy or being used. This time though he decided to use an individual that had no choice even though he would've gave one. Nevizkas, the former Sith Master Cyutadakyr, he knew directly helping her in anyway was a death sentence. So he planned to use her in his attempts at furthering the Order so that he may have a potential future ally that has the capability to be a strong Sith.

The transport landed near the HQ of R.H.E and they were embarked. Luckily Trael had enough pull in the Order to get a pass as a representative for Thule. The idea was to convince the company to sign an exclusivity deal with the planet and by extension the Order. He looked over to Nevizkas, "We are here to try and get an exclusivity deal. So we shouldn't have to fight or anything. If you can't fight just stay with me and I'll get us both out of this alive." He would turn and give her a warm smile. As someone who has utilized the force most of his life he couldn't begin to imagine how it would be to have it forcefully taken and to be left alone.

The month or so since the events of Thule had left the pureblood in indescribable chaos, emptiness and despair. Like an echo that refused to return, for the first time in her life the force refused to hear her call. Each fibre of her being, long intertwined and bathed in all its power, suddenly vanished. It was like a day without a star, a night without a moon, a life without purpose.

Hers was now to serve, adrift like a lifeboat in the middle of the ocean, and her face said as much. Cyutadakyr had been torn away, leaving Nevizkas in her stead to fill the void which could not be filled. Perhaps in time she would find a greater purpose, a path of enlightenment out of this exile, but such thoughts were like a vagrant dream. The harsh reality of her station hung like a chain around her neck, the price she would pay for failure, as ever glance into a mirror would.

Wearing a slightly worn brown overcoat that rose to sit just under each ear, she arrived quietly to meet someone she had not spoken to very much in her past life. Nodding as he laid out the plan, she nervously toyed with the cast around her left wrist, slipping it back under the coat with a grimace.

She wasn't even sure how she could help, given the circumstances, but perhaps her just being there would be enough. Or at least he'd offer her something to do towards the mission.

Naturally, she would let him take the lead, and she'd follow.

He could see the difference between her during the duel and now. It was night and day or more like darkness to light. It seemed she hadn’t filled healed which meant she didn’t go to a proper medical facility but more likely one that was rudimentarily put together.

He wondered if she sustained permanent injuries to her voice as she simply nodded to his plan. She had lost all of the confidence and bravado that she contained before the duel. It was a sad sight to see for Trael, she was one of the first Sith he'd ever encountered as a Champion and yet she had fallen. Just like Zorya did and the others from Arkania that had gone missing. Come to think of it he was the only one from that mission not a Master. He wasn't bothered by it though as he was one of the few still mostly in good standing.

Trael lead them into the building and walked to the desk. "Artemis Nero here to see the chairman. I believe he should be expecting me." The lady looked at him then to Nevizkas and began typing on her computer. "Yes, I see your appointment. Please wait till the chairman is ready to see ya." He gave the woman a slight bow as he went to the seats motioning for Nevizkas to sit as well.

If she did he would ask her quietly, "Are there any skills you have without the force? I can't plan accordingly without knowing." Though planning never seemed to work out for him fully as intended he still liked to have a plan. He hoped she had some form of skill that would be useful. Though the more he dwelled on it being simply a pity card might be the best use for her here.

Nevi followed along and took a seat wondering what her part in this play would be just as Trael asked her the very same thing. His question caused her to pause for a moment to consider its answer, in reality with so much of her identity and skill set being around the force, she would seemingly be forced to reinvent herself. But reaching the confidence that he was probably used to seeing in her by now, would take far too much time than they had today.

"I am resourceful, Champion Osso." If nothing else, she was a survivor. Endured pain and suffering, to come out stronger because of it. It would hardly do to go on a mission entirely unprepared, and although she had little to call on but what she came across, the pureblood hoped to still be useful.

Taking a small linen napkin from her pocket and placing it within his hand subtly, her cautious eyes watched for his reaction. A hushed tone kept the confidential information between them, but given they were alone, she was willing to reveal a little. "One scratch." Was all she said, hoping that he'd piece together the rest. The small, sharp thorn on the inside wasn't only there for decoration or intimidation.

A simple break of the skin would infuse the target with a powerful paralytic, not enough to completely stun them, but enough to cause a local freeze as the muscles reacted to the natural mixture. Of course, such an overt measure might not have been what he had in mind, and thus she would wait to see if he had any other requests in case she could help before they continued.

Her overt formality caught him off guard. In both experience and power she was at one point his superior. Now she was just like any other civilian in the galaxy besides the wealth of force knowledge she had. "No need to be so formal away from other Sith. Also at the moment we are mister and misses Nero." Her lack of a clear answer cemented his plan internally.

He was going to use her condition to their advantage and introduce her as his clingy pregnant wife. This was supposed to be a solo meeting after all but he wanted the back up just in case. If his intel was correct the man they were meeting was a family man himself and may have a soft spot for a future family.

He watched as she took out the napkin and put it in his hand. He discreetly opened it up as she made her comment on what it was. She failed to mention its effects but he had a feeling it was something unpleasant. He carefully folded the napkin back up and handed to her.
“Let’s hope we don’t need to go that route.” He said with a smile.

The secretary called out from behind the desk, “Mr Chaplain is ready to see you know please enter.” Trael would offer his hand to help Nevizkas up to try and sell the illusion of a happy couple.

Her face didn't reveal her innate displeasure at the suggestion, but he'd most definitely sense her internal emotional state shift. But such as her new station in life, to accept and serve as demanded by her betters. Filing away the feelings on the matter, she would do her duty, but that didn't mean she would soon forget who and how those above treated her.

Slipping the napkin back in her pocket, she simply shrugged, content to keep its contents for another time. Taking his arm, they'd walk together into the room, although it was a risky endeavour trying to sell what Trael hoped to sell.

With a free hand, Nevi lay a palm on her barely showing belly, as any expecting mother might as they entered. The only problem was trying to convince Mr Chaplain that they were a happy couple was that the pureblood was not entirely recovered from the injuries. Worse, if Trael had none himself, it could almost be seen as a potentially domestic issue that he'd inflicted upon her rather than a complex string of events that he could hardly explain.

She'd leave that for the Champion to navigate, for now.

As they walked into the room together they were immediately stopped by an old Togrutan behind the desk. "What the hell kind of man beats his wife. A pregnant one at that. Step away from her you scum." Trael barely could process what had happened but immediately stepped to the side of Nevizkas. "I believe you have it wrong sir. I promise you I didn't do this to her."

Due to the yelling in the room the guards would rush in and surround Trael. "What do you want us to do with him sir?" The Chairman looked between the two guests before his fiery gaze set on Trael. "Throw the bastard in the security holding area. We will contact Rothana police to come and take him later." The guards put hand cuffs on Trael and dragged him from the room.

After they had left Mr. Chaplain poured himself a glass of scotch and motioned for Nevi to take a seat. "You can wait in here with me till the police show up and deal with that scum. To think he would beat someone so close to him and while she was bringing his child into the world." On his desk was a photo of him and a large family that belonged to him.

The situation in the boardroom escalated far faster than she could have anticipated and within seconds, Trael had been forced out of the room, leaving her alone with Mr Chaplain.

"You will be alright, miss, don't worry about him any more. His kind don't do well in prison." The Chairman said, looking at the poor woman in front of him compassionately. "I don't know that he ever loved me." She said quietly, rather truthfully. "But suppose when I spend so much time around violence, it becomes second nature." Her sad, but calm voice cut through any tension that might have lingered from Trael's expulsion.

The pureblood woman traced her fingers across her belly, as if in deep thought, while the man looked on. "Sorry, I didn't mean to drag you into this." She paused, looking like she wished to shift the subject. "Artemis said you made vehicles, I've never seen such a thing in action, would you show me? I think it would make my day."

Mr Chaplain broke a sorry smile, glancing at his watch for a moment before nodding. "I would love to, please come this way." He said, standing up slowly and grabbing his coat.

Trael was hauled off like some criminal, which he was, but not in this particular instance. He was brought into the holding cells of the building for if clients decided to get rowdy. He sat in the cell simply relaxing and fiddling with his hands. The guards were watching him like hawks.

"You seem oddly calm for someone about to be in prison a long time." One of the guards said smirking. Trael looked over and game him a smile. "Well it's hard not to be when your being assaulted and accused over a crime with no proof. Thule was recently attacked by a fleet of Mandalorian pirates. How do you know that's not how she was injured?" He challenged back at the guards. The guard seemed to be thinking much too hard for his own good when he waved him off. "The cops will be here in 20 minutes they said so you can talk to them about this."

Meanwhile, Mr. Chaplain would lead Nevi to a large building in the complex. Inside was an incomplete AT-TE from the clone wars era that was being built. "Our company manufactures military vehicles for both space and ground warfare. Currently we mostly provide for planetary defense forces but are open to expanding our list of customers for projects we are working on." He then turned his attention to the vehicle being built. "This model was utilized by the Republic as their main assault vehicle. It acts as a troop transport and mainline fighting vehicle. It was later replaced by the Empires AT-AT."

The next room housed a Tx-130 repulsortank. It also had a few being built at the various stages. "This was the used to quickly punch through enemy lines by both the Republic and Empire until it was replaced as well. It may seem we only provide older model vehicles but if we were provided plans and payment to develop or make something than we would happily do so."

Nevi walked along the complex with keen interest in the production as he explained what was being completed. After the recent incident, it would be an easy to justify beefing up the still formidable ground forces, but the difficulty was always going to be finding a proper balance between ground and space.

The opportunity to strike a deal was still on the table, figuratively speaking, even as Mr Nero was likely somewhat engaged elsewhere. "That is quite alright, Mr Chaplain. I find the older models to be quite compelling, actually, as my mother used to say. If it ain't broke..." She paused for a second, smiling. "..don't fix it." He added humorously. "Quite right. Although, I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't at least offer all the models we have available."

"We are quite interested in striking a deal for space borne vessels as well, which I have heard many good things about your yard. Can you tell me more about that?" She said confidently, as they climbed into a speeder to drive to another part of the complex.

Mr. Chaplain began beaming at her request for the information on the shipyard. “Why of course I can it is the pride and joy of our company after all. Our yard is one of the few in the quadrant that is capable of building star destroyer sized ships. Right now it is still tooled for Venators and the Imperial Star destroyers on that front as well as a few other older generation vessels.” He offered a hand to help her into the speeder before they were off.

“Before we take a shuttle to the shipyard so I can show you that first we’ll visit the research area as there are some projects I believe you will want to see.”
Ever the business man he didn’t want to pass up on the potential of the deal that was planned. The speeder took them to another building this one smaller than the others. As they walked in there were projectors with Venators and the various other Clone Wars vehicles they produced in segments and pieces. Some were obviously modified from a glance to be more modernized.

Trael was still in the jail cell when the cops finally arrived. “Is this the person who beat his wife?” He inquired to the guards. “Yes officer she was in a cast and everything we called you as soon as we got him in here.” The officer gave him a curious look, “So he didn’t do it in front of you. You just saw the battered woman and called us?” The guard looked at him bewildered. “Well how else did she get hurt like that?”

The officer rubbed his nose as he listened to the man continue talking. “How about you take me to the woman to ask her why she is hurt?” Motioning his hands to let the guard lead him. “Why of course she should be in the office with the boss man.” When they got to the office there was no one in there and the cop looked even more annoyed as he stared at the guard. “I’ll go hunt them down for ya so you can ask them questions.” He stated running off calling on his holodevice to have the guards locate and inform the two they were needed by the police.

The opportunity continued to prove profitable as the chairman directed her to view their research department. "Impressive." She spoke, eyes glancing around the various projects on display. Modernized equipment meant fewer crew requirements, which for the Sith was far more ideal. It would be quite some time before they could openly wield power like the days of old, but that didn't mean they couldn't prepare for such a time.

"I think I've seen enough, Mr Chaplain. You've convinced me that your company would be an excellent partner and we'd be most happy to invest with you." Her eyes were bespoke and excited. The ever prepared Chairman had come prepared, offering her a pad out of thin air to sign a prospective contract of services.

"Are you going to be alright Mrs Nero?" He plainly asked, still concerned about the incident from earlier. Her smile faltered just a little. "That depends, what is going to happen to him?" She asked quietly.

"Well, we don't exactly have jurisdiction to punish him for crimes he may have committed of world I'm afraid." The prospect of letting the wild animal go clearly bothered the family man. "I'm afraid my injuries occurred on Thule, in ways I could never describe." Her eyes crushed under the weight, pulling him in.

Until a moment of clarity appeared to surface. "What if you gave him to me, in custody, to take back to Thule myself?" Her idea was great in theory, but the idea still worried him enough she could see it on his face. "He won't bother me chained up, I can promise you. But if it helps you feel better about it, stun him and he'll wake up after I've dumped his sorry ass."

That part at least, drew a chuckle out of the Chairman. "And the possessions he surrendered?" He asked. "I'll take them, call it alimony." She grinned.

After a few calls it was sorted, before he knew it, Trael would find himself inhaling a knock out gas only to wake up on a strange ship.

A strangely corporate styled ship.

Trael had been patiently sitting in the security area when he saw the guards begin moving around. Good they must've found them and now I'm being released. He had a complete misunderstanding of what was happening. He quickly realized he was wrong as they pinned him down with a mask to his face. Everything started to blur around him as he fell asleep.

He woke up in the brig of an unknown ship, in chains and foggy from the gas. He desperately began looking around trying to see any symbol or way to determine what this was. He spotted the CSA logo on all the cargo, his heart dropped, it seems you can never escape the past.

He felt the ship lull as it began to land somewhere. His heart raced, it was a different type of fear he was experiencing. He felt the ship jolt as it made planetfall and commotion around him. Suddenly the door to the brig flung open and he was hit with a stun baton. He awoke on the floor of a cell all alone, betrayed, Trael will remember this.
