DESCRIPTION​

Before the droid world M4-78 was taken over by Blackwell Technologies, the droid world only had droid starfighters patrolling it's space. Under new management, Blackwell Technologies tasked the droid world with building capital ships. Same as the UXC-5412, UXF-221 Pattern Frigate is a newer designed model, aimed to start phasing out the Cybot model Auto-Command Frigates in Blackwell's droid security fleets.

The droid frigate heavily resembles the larger cruiser, taking the similar shape, structure and aesthetic. Like the crusier, the frigate is made out of the same robust materials, giving it good durability. It's weapon systems are potent. With an array of heavy turbolasers, ion cannons, and laser cannons, the Frigate is well-rounded and well equiped to handle a variety of threats, although it fares better in battling other capital ships. All of it's weapons systems are focused forward, except for 2 light laser cannon turrets towards the aft.

Same as the cruiser, this ship has no life-support systems, making the interior inhospitable to organics. Thus it is operated with an all droid crew including integrated droid brains that command the ship. The ship itself can also store many droids inside of it, and can drop them off planet-side rapidly via escape/drop pods.

These ships are found exclusively in possession and ownership of Blackwell Technologies, although some can be freely sold by the organization to other factions if Blackwell sees fit.

LEGALITY​

Restricted. these are classified as droid capital ships under Galactic law, and are subject to numerous and strict laws regarding their capabilities and use. As such, civilian owners will require extra licensing to operate one legally, and will receive increased scrutiny by authorities.

INTENT​

Although the Auto-Command frigate is a nice design as a droid ship, but this ship would suit Blackwell's purposes more being a stronger ship more comparable to other models of the same class. Also to expand on M4-78's unique technology.

RESTRICTIONS​

These ships are droid capital ships, and cannot be owned or operated by individual characters.
