1. What is going to happen in your plot?

- Initial contact with members of the surviving Jedi Order, introduction to different types of members from the sects of what remains of the Jedi structure.
- Build trust in personal relationships through combat environments.
- Informant of political and economic information of the Jedi Exiles’ status.
- Brought before a Jedi Master(s) to be decided if worthy of joining the Jedi.

4. Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.

1st Thread: Shroud of Shadows, Unveiled
The Force calls individuals to an unlikely introduction, including my character and multiple Jedi from different sects at separate instances on Nar Shaddah in the Outer Rim.

- Scared by an immediately violent Crusader, Valen must defend himself and retreat.
- Tracked down by a Jedi Shadow after initial contact in the area is reported, Valen must outrun the trained Shadow with cat-and-mouse survival techniques.
- Contact with a Jedi Guardian, with an open mindset of diplomacy and negotiation with Valen’s self-detachment from the Jedi Exiles, he is taken into voluntary custody for further discussion and possible interrogation.

2nd Thread: An Unlikely Alliance
After coming to a peaceful agreement of going with the Jedi without resistance, Independent Bounty Hunters intervene, attempting to collect rewards on the heads of all Force Sensitive parties involved. A common goal of survival amongst unlikely companions.

- Evalyn Dan’ela's and Valen’s exchange is witnessed by street urchins that have reported sightings of a lightsaber. Local Hutts place bounties and the two must survive through the chaos in the streets to rendezvous with nearby Jedi.
- Regrouping with BN’s Crusader, Evalyn Dan’ela is separated and lost in the crowd, leaving Valen without protection from the overzealous Crusader’s decision to end the Exile right then and there. Valen must survive aggressions from bounty hunters and BN’s character.
- GABA’s Jedi Shadow intervenes and rescues Valen from BN successfully overpowering attacks, convincing the Crusader to trust Evalyn Dan’ela’s judgement and make the decision after making it through the current situation. The three combat the bounty hunters until Evalyn Dan’ela rescues them with a quick pick-up in his ship.

3rd Thread: The Lines We've Crossed
In the voluntary custody of members from the surviving Jedi Order, Valen is pressed for information, given an opportunity to demonstrate his willingness and authenticity.
(Players: Black Noise, GABA, Valen Pelora, open to others)

Spoiler

- Some extremists use the opportunity to excessively interrogate Valen Rektor about his knowledge of the weaponized giant kybur crystal on Ilum that the former Grand Master betrayed the order over.
- Others not so zealous, use it as an opportunity to learn more about the internal structure of the Jedi Exiles as a people, their technological advancements, and tactical strategies.
- Decision to turn Valen over to a Jedi Master(s) for further questioning and to gauge Valen’s character as an individual to decide what to do with him.

4th Thread: By Chance of Circumstance
En route to Jedha to present Valen to a Jedi Master for judgement, the Jedi ship is intercepted in between jumps through hyperspace by pirates and mercenaries monitoring the more common traffic lanes from the Outer Rim territories. The ship has been damaged and disabled, and the group must learn to trust in one another's skills and abilities to accomplish what must be done to survive.
(Players: Black Noise, GABA, Valen Pelora, Pirate/Mercenary NPCer or possible PCs)

Spoiler

- Pirates disable the ship and attempt to board. Physically proficient fighters of the group must hold off the initial boarding party while Valen is supervised while repairing the engines.
- With thrusters back online, the crew engages in an open-space dogfight, continuing to fight off the remaining boarding party. Needing to trust Valen to continue repairs while the rest of the crew holds off the enemy, the only way to fix the external damage is by space-walking on the side of the ship during the dogfight.
- Once defeating the pirates, Valen has the opportunity to betray the Jedi and space them, or prove his intentions and rejoin the crew after successfully stabilizing the ship to continue their journey.

5th Thread: Truth, Justice, and the Will of the Force
Valen is brought before the Jedi’s superiors to pass judgement of what should be done with the former Jedi Exile.
(Players: Black Noise, GABA, Valen Pelora, NPC Jedi Master / Councillor)

- Witnessing Jedi provide testimony to their personal experience with Valen, the information he provided, and personal opinion of what action should be taken.
- Valen gives his defending statements and presents what he has to offer, what he wants, and why he decided to turn himself over.
- NPC questioning and the verdict after passing judgement.

5. What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?

- Provide intelligence of the aftermath that happened within the Jedi Exiles after Ilum.
- Create individual relationships with members from different sects of the surviving Jedi.
- Admission to the ranks of the Jedi Order.



6. Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.

- Bounty Hunters / Mercenaries on Nar Shaddah (VOLUNTEER NPCer: Jinan B)
- Any other Jedi on Evalyn Dan’ela’s ship participating in the interrogation.
- Jedi Master(s) to pass judgement over Valen’s case.

Hey there @Zach! Great character name choice! I do have a couple of things to address before approval. Overall, I really like this as a plot idea.

• Information: Without actually RPing as an Exile I am hesitant to permit this as major part of the plot since the information is part of his CP, not information gained through RPing. If the information is information that is OOC known (so things contained in the write-ups but some Jedi might still not know) that could be permissible. Of course, it could be an interesting element if he doesn't know anything the Jedi don't already know.
• Switching Sides: As posted in previous announcements this is taken incredibly seriously. What you have outlined is certainly sufficient. However, each thread will be carefully scrutinized. Any attempt for a "fall" plot in the future to go back to the Exiles will be effected.
• DMing: Level 1 characters can interact with Level 2 NPCs at most. A plot mod will DM the Jedi Master or Masters. Just reach out to us when you're ready.

Please let me know if you have questions about anything above. Otherwise, the plot will be approved.

- Information: I had exactly the same thoughts, as far any information able to be provided, it would include only two things. One, is public OOC info about the general state of the Exiles being just as scattered as the Jedi in their different sects, which is probably already common knowledge and any interrogators would not put a lot of value in it. Second, is in the character's bio, I included participation in a science team working on the giant Kaibur crystal from the Ilum incident, and my character would share his perspective of the process of weaponizing it - also public info (not necessarily common, for characters that don't have a scientific background), but specifically admitting his role and recognizing that he'd been on the wrong side all along. (*He's also been out of touch since that incident, so all his info might be outdated too)

- Switching Sides: You say carefully scrutinized, but I hear "more attention to my story," ;)
Really though, I can respect and abide by the standards for faction alignment. I imagine it was something that could have gotten out of hand in the past, and needs to be realistically set up so players can't just do it willy-nilly as they please. Should any future situation arise, I realize that it would be vastly different than this situation as more of an origin story to get started. My character profile pending approval is currently tagged as an independent, with his Bio story ending with being on his own as opposed to starting with Exile affiliation.

- DMing: Ok, thanks for the clarification. I'll edit the Plot Submission to definitively identify the necessary NPCing for Jedi Masters instead of Council members. Once things get approved and the first thread gets rolling, I'll post an update here with the relevant links and reach out once we're ready.

I don’t think I’ll ever reject additional story elements that make sense!

We’re slow-going at the moment. BN has some family situations going on. Personally I’m not in a huge rush though, and it’s all death-disabled so others don’t have to worry about their characters getting tied up while we inch along. Will definitely let you know though.

*I remember you and I performing interrogations together after terrorist attacks and locking people up for a LONG time lol
