Look, Dei, I've told you like 8 million times to find a new master but you REFUSED. You continued to bug and harass me about it after I've made it clear that I didn't want to continue with the training 'cause?:

A) You like training way too freakin' much and everything was too specific. I'm sorry, but that's just not what I do.

B) I'd have to pump out a bunch of replies a day, and I can't do that if the rp simply doesn't interest me. I tried to tell you nicely, but after you drove me to a certain point, I just literally said "Screw it, do whatever you want". However, I'm NOT going to take it seriously and have it be a huge part of Val's bio and yadda yadda simply because this is all ridiculous. Even Lucid stopped posting so absolutely nothing happened to Dmitri.

It's not my fault if you wanna make up some huge dramatic scenario, when in reality, he's just standing there picking his nose. Now, you can continue griping and moaning about this on my profile, or you can let it go and move on with your new and hopefully much better training.

Meh. Dmitri's dead, and I actually don't care. I only made him at the request of someone else to begin with. I'm not going to train a dead character.

You agreed to the outcome before I posted it as a way of cutting both of our losses, since I obviously had about the same interest level as you did. You whine that I pestered you three zillion times a day, yet I did not so much as inquire for weeks before I came to the conclusion I must cut my losses. Also, your claim that you told me off "very nicely" is, as we both know, a complete lie. And no, I couldn't just have Dmitri standing there picking his nose, as it takes more than one person to do an RP. Doing anything else with him while that RP was left open would've opened up a huge continuity can o'worms that I just didn't want to deal with.

Now, the natural and probable consequences of the outcome we both agreed to (Dmitri's abandonment in the middle of the mission) would have been some level of reflection on the part of Val at the very least. I really don't care enough to press the issue as I never had much attachment to Dmitri in the first place (let alone enough to bother finding another master when the only active people in the Jedi that I knew of at the time were disinterested in training). If you are so disinterested in the development of your own character from a failed mission (hey, you were bored, right, and you're turning down a half-decent storyline?), that is no longer my problem. I admit I found the Jedi Order's lack of interest in a failed mission/dead padawan a bit more concerning, and concluded it reflected badly upon the Jedi organization.
