Tython.

Another world, another temple to sack and its riches to plunder for the surging Sith Empire should they succeed in the assault. Many Jedi and Sith likewise joined to battle over the sacred Jedi temple and although the Sith were backed by a vastly superior fleet, it would come down to individual skill as to the outcome of the mission. While the battle raged on in the background and took the significant attention of the defenders, two Kaleesh warriors descended toward their own target of the day.

The fabled Tython Holocron Vault.

Dressed in his usual Sith battle armor and weapons, Xornoth held his crimson lightsaber in his right hand and ignited it as they came to the entrance while signaling a small section of 6 Imperial troopers to move forward and begin cracking the lock on the vault door.

These troopers would stand guard outside once the door was unlocked, allowing the Kaleesh to enter and secure it in case Jedi were hiding within. Xornoth's Sith Sword was held in it's scabbard on his back while the 4-C Blaster Pistol was holstered to his right hip.

Inside they would place a small beacon that Xornoth held securely on his person.

"Warden Taes, we will avenge the death of Lord Evandrus with this victory, do not fail him now."

OOC:Using all of my gear except one lightsaber and the sith sword.

There were few things that the Kaleesh abomination valued, strength and prowess in fight was one of them, the other one, however, was knowledge, because that's what differences a strong warrior from a good warrior, because that's the only real legacy someone leaves when he dies, knowledge to their sons and daughters to be better, knowledge for the next generation to improve. So, what knowledge did the jedi deserve? It's not like they used it, the jedi were meant to die because they were too stubborn, too stuck to their old ways, fearing going a bit further because they didn't understanding, so...why give them knowledge, when they would barely use it? Meanwhile, the sith empire could always use the years of experience that were stored inside the holocrons, it would make them improve, help them achieve the greatness they were destined to reach.

Kano was walking behind Xornoth, his cloak covering him like always and hiding everything but two arms that were already carrying two lightsabers, his face revealing none of his feelings, the death of Cregan did sadden him a little, but not enough to trouble him and certainly not enough to affect his combat capacity "I don't intend to fail here Xornoth, do not worry about me, focus on the enemies we will face" Kano said, looking at his partner "Today the jedi will recieve their punishment and face retribution, we'll make sure of that" The Kaleesh abomination added, whiteknuckling his lightsabers while looking for jedi, it was unlikely no one was defending the holocron vault and, if the jedi knew their priorities, they would have sent some of their best fighters to keep it safe, because if the Sith managed to take the holocrons, they would be used against them, that's for sure.

"Just... don't look at anything while you're down here," Fennex admonished the young Knight standing next to him, realizing the irony of being tasked to defend a place you weren't even allowed to enter, "Or I'll have to exile you after we beat these hutt-sons back."

Fennex and Leto had drawn the cosmic short straw. Stuck in one of the lower spires when the Sith attack commenced, there were few options. Fennex, being the most senior Master in the temple when their enemies arrived, had a clear task- preserve the knowledge of the Order. Unlike Telos, someone else would have to rescue the younglings this time. As much as it pained him not to be fighting above, his place was here. Gathering what support he could- which wasn't much- Fen made his way to the Holocron vaults and sealed the entrances, closing himself, Leto, and the few warriors the Master of the Guard could spare inside. It was a dire and dangerous situation, to be sure, but not without hope. While the Temple Guard secured the precious knowledge contained within and prepared for evacuation, Leto and Fennex awaited their enemy in the entry chamber.

Luckily for the Jedi, the Holocron Vault was just that- a vault. It would not be easily penetrated or assaulted, and the Sith could not have possibly been prepared for it. It was buried in the deepest Temple spire, hundreds of meters below water, necessitating all the Jedi be equipped with rebreathers and water survival gear. The vault door that Fennex could eve now hear the Sith trying to breach was heavy, thick, and phrik lined. It was guarded with the most advanced electronic locking systems- only Fen's iris-scan had gained the Jedi access. The Sith would have been subjected to the determined resistance of numerous layers of defense- the Temples outer shields, scores of Temple Guard, and finally the Vault Door itself. It would take them some time to breach it, and if they weren't careful they would drown them all. It was a long corridor between the outer doors and the vault itself, at least 30 meters- the entire way lined with etchings and murals in the transparisteel, a kaleidoscope of Jedi history. The entire way was also barricaded with discarded pedestals and shelving that used to hold Holocrons that the Sith would have to navigate before they reached the Jedi resistance huddling inside the medium sized chamber within.

Fennex stood ready and waiting around the corner of the corridor, waiting for the Sith to breach the door so he could act. If they thought this would be easy, they were wrong.

"Ready?"
the Master looked at Leto in inquiry.

Leto didn't much care for what was stored in the vault he was supposed to protect, just more mumbo-jumbo that he didn't particularly care for. The reason he hadn't protested when he was assigned the task was that most Jedi, and by extension the Sith, saw the holocron vault as something important. So he expected some Sith hotshots to be here to claim the price. Well, if he beat the hotshots then he would be the hotshot. It was tough being a hero after all, and taking on shitty gigs like this was one of the many pains costs of getting there.

But while his reasons for being here might not be looked upon in the best light by most member of the Order, his preparedness for it would most definitely not be. Armed not just with his standard arms, armor, rebreather and water survival gear, he had also brought along a cool little carbine that he had acquired on one of his more flashy assignments, courtesy of the pirates he had helped wipe out. It might be an uncivilized weapon, but these were uncivilized times, and they were most definitely dealing with uncivilized company. So he wasn't going to let some wrinkled noses force him to discard practical solutions.

Standing besides Fennex, half a dozen feet to his left, he held the carbine in his right hand and his lit lightsaber in the other, more than ready for a fight.

"I was born ready." Leto replied with his eyes on the corner from which the Sith would appear and a wide grin on his face, almost able to see the eye-roll the response was sure to draw from the tiny Jedi Master.

The lack of any presence to guard the exterior of the vault itself struck Xornoth as strange, considering its importance and value to the order itself. While it was entirely possible that the Jedi were simply short staffed so to speak, if the defenders were not outside the vault then they had to be inside it already.

The process of breaking into the vault was a daunting one and certainly not something that Xornoth could do alone which was why he had brought the six Imperial troopers with them to handle the task. While the Empire would not have known ahead of time what lies in wait for them deep down below the waters of Tython, it would be foolish to consider that the strike team would not have come prepared to break into these most complex systems, owing to the known importance that the Jedi placed on Holocrons. The situation was highly complex and required delicate care to be taken to avoid triggering the defensive measures that may have been in place.

The sophisticated IRIS scanner was a complication that was most easily solved by acquiring the eye of someone who had access which would require first finding one such victim and then killing them before returning. While they didn't have all the time in the world, the fleet above could reasonably understand the task set couldn't be completed easily. One of the troopers came back toward Xornoth to report on their progress.

"Warden Sk'ar, the IRIS scanner is protected by military-grade encryption, but we've got just the toy for it." The trooper started his salute in preparation to return back where he had come from when Xornoth interrupted him sharply while pointing to his kit.

"Trooper, open and then hold the door with your squad and await further orders."

Kano was itching for a fight but the Kaleesh abomination would probably understand the strategy behind what he had proposed.

"Warden Taes, the Jedi are tricky beasts but we must remain prepared to fight them. Let us find out what they have in store for us."

Xornoth unclipped the blaster pistol from his hip taking it into his left hand while holding the lightsaber in the right. When the door was breached wide enough for the pair to enter, Xornoth entered ready to fire.

Opening the door into the main corridor revealed the 30-meter distance that had to be closed before their melee could begin. While moving forward on the left-hand side of the corridor (Sith perspective) Xornoth would use his lightsaber to intercept any returned fire.

Should either or both Jedi expose themselves more than just showing a head or be pulled from their hiding space, Xornoth would open fire three times with his blaster pistol aiming for their torso.

Xornoth would remain aware of the loose objects that could turn into violent projectiles at a moments notice. The main threat he sensed, was the short little Jedi Master who was now directly opposing him.

Kano did expect the jedi to wait them inside the vault, a place like that was meant to be hard to break in and hard to assault it was an easy place to defend if you set it up appropietaly, the Kaleesh abomination would not waste any time and enter alongside his fellow sith inside the vault once it was opened, activating his two lightsabers while looking at the corridor the sith would be forced to go through, walking forward on the right side of the corridor, focusing in order to call upon the force once the battle really began

If one of the jedi dared to peek out of their corners, Kano would waste no time and start his offense and pull said jedi towards them while Xornoth did the shooting, aiming to make them unable to get back into cover and difficult any attempt of returning Xornoth's fire.

As the two Jedi waited for the Sith to breach the door, Leto leaned out of the corner with his carbine aimed at the door. With his head, right arm, and shoulder and upper right torso peaking out, he aimed his weapon and waited as the door finally began opening. As soon as a figure appeared in the opening doorway, he fired off six shots at their torso, wasting but a fraction of a second to properly take aim. Standing as he was behind the left corner, he would fire at the Sith entering from the diametrically opposite side of the entrance, the one on his right and on the left with regards to the Sith. Already ready and aware of where his target would be, he would be much faster on the release than either Sith, who would first identify where and who their enemies were.

If the Sith managed to fire any shots at him he would immediately duck behind the corner, stopping whatever he was doing to prioritize defense. Having visibility on the Sith form the moment they became visible would give him enough time to track a weapon being aimed at him and duck back where he would be safe from any blaster fire. Similarly, if Kano tried to use the Force to pull him down the corridor, with most of his body hidden behind the corner, the wall itself would provide an obstacle that he would use to stop his motion towards the Sith and slam the blade in his left hand into the wall to stop getting pulled away. As much of the his body and specifically his left hand that held his lit blade was still behind the corner, the blade would anchor him behind the safety of the wall. Regardless of which attack would come first, his response would be to immediately slip back around the corner and take cover behind the wall.

At the same time he would begin sucking in the Force, gathering it in preparation for using as required in the future.

Leto was a bit faster on the draw than Fennex, but in this case it was just as well. The boys shots would come right as the Sith appeared in the opening- "wide enough for the pair to enter"- and with their signature aggression they were both prepared to attack the first threat that presented itself, neither of them paying much attention to the little furry nose poking around the opposite corner, close to the ground. They hadn't been given enough time to separate to the sides of the corridor, so they would still be standing practically shoulder to shoulder when they both reacted instantly to Leto's attack.

Just as the two Sith began to initiate their hasty reactionary attacks (and just before Leto's attacks would land) Fennex tightly balled his free paw, hitting both warriors with a powerful blast of Force energy from opposite sides that would slam them together and twist them around in a mess of their own ignited lightsabers and put them both directly in the path of Leto's blaster fire. Xornoth's own snap fire would become dangerous to Kano as well, while preventing it from hitting Leto or Fennex either one. For his part, Kano's pull on Leto would be disrupted before the young Jedi could be pulled completely out of his cover.

Interrupted as soon as they began to enter and attack, the Sith would have gained no ground, and had multiple dangers to defend against- it would be practically impossible to both avoid each others blades and defend against the blaster fire (from both sides, for Kano), and they'd have to detangle themselves and recover before advancing beyond the entryway. Fennex was prepared though, conserving his energy for the moment and keeping a watchful eye, nose, and other senses on his opponents, ready to respond for however his enemies tried to get out of this. His saber, lit, was held firmly and calmly in his left hand in case he needed to defend against anything, and his other ally- the Force- was ready to be manipulated at will by the Jedi Masters open paw, giving him increased control in this situation.

Before firing upon Leto twice (the first being the best aimed) the Sith Master being a powerful force user in his own right would be capable of sensing Fennex's use of the force to attempt to grapple the pair and push them together. He utilized his ability to track and engage multiple opponents at once, Xornoth counteracted Fennex's force attack with his own body, using of force to push back against it which reduced the effect upon him sufficiently to allow Xornoth to continue moving left and away from Kano.

Given the defensive position of Xornoth's lightsaber, he would easily deflect the first shot that Leto fired his way, likely returning it toward its origin and either striking Leto's torso or the weapon itself.

Xornoth would maintain his lightsaber posture to strike back the second and any further shots that Leto made beyond the first one, as the human Jedi ducked back behind the wall to avoid the Sith shots.

As Fennex was only showing his face and did not have a lightsaber in view to stop an attack, Xornoth immediately conjured a short one half second burst of force lightning directed toward the Jedi Masters face which would hit if he did not move back into cover or block it with his lightsaber. This attack was accompanied by Xornoth moving deeper into the corridor, while reholstering his pistol to free his hand, seeking to close the distance between himself and the Jedi but not entering the exit side of the corridor if the Jedi did not immediately counter-attack.

Xornoth pooled the force within himself, prepared to lash out and attack at a moments notice.

The Kaleesh abomination unfortunately wouldn't have time to pull Leto out of cover, it, however, didn't mean his concentration was going to be wasted, Kano wouldn't let the small jedi just go and push him like a mere ragdoll, he could feel the force gathering around him and therefore, tried to defend himself the best way possible by countering the force pull with his own use of the force, just like his partner, using his two free arms hidden under his cloak to further improve his defense. While the small jedi was stronger in the force than Kano, he was trying to pull two powerful sith at the same time, his focus was divided and the Kaleesh abomination could use that in his favor in order to hold his ground and not faceplant his partner like Fennex wanted, thus saving himself the trouble of dodging those blaster bolts Leto was shooting at Xornoth (Leto being too focused on shooting as many times as possible at Xornoth to interrupt Kano's focus) the Kaleesh would still have held his two lightsabers on his hands to defend himself against said blaster fire if he wanted to switch targets.

Would Fennex stop his hold on him, be it because he had other things to focus on or because he got roasted by Xornoth's lightning, the Kaleesh would advance alongside his partner, going a bit slower in order to have one meter of distance between them and allow themselves to have more reaction time if they ever tried something similar. He wouldn't have done anything against the jedi yet, but he was now closer to them, soon he would have them in melee range, soon he would be on his element and have some real fun.

The Sith assault was determined and they had fought their way through the door, but the Jedi would not make advancing easy. Fen could feel Xor gathering strength for the attack, and raised his left paw. Xornoth must not have seen the white glow of the lit saber held in it as Fennex peeked around the corner, or he may not have tried such a move. The little Jedi had a plan of his own though. Instead of using his saber to simply block the lightning, Fennex raised a few furry fingers from the hilt and focused on absorbing the quick burst of electricity with tutaminis, and then immediately redirected the energy through his free right paw, sending it back at the Sith Master in a powerful telekinetic blast. The attack would strike almost immediately after Xors lightning reached Fen, as the Kaleesh was moving forward and holstering his blaster. With the boost from the lightning and the singular concentration on Xornoth, this attack wouldn't be so easy to shrug off.

This would also leave Fens saber free to defend against any retaliatory strikes from either Sith. His body was still only partially exposed as he leaned around the corner as well, making him a hard target for both blaster fire and Force based attacks. Xornoth wouldn't have had a chance to advance more than a few meters into the hall, between defending against the Jedi attack and dealing with the obstructions the Jedi had emplaced to slow them down. With Kano seeming content to let Xornoth take the lead from the opposite side of the hall, the entire Sith advance would likely be momentarily halted- especially if Xornoth was smashed back into the door as intended.

Leto saw Xornoth get hit by his blaster fire, even the one shot that landed was more than the Sith managed as deflected and fired shots alike from the Sith missed Leto, who had ducked behind the wall. Already presenting a small target for the Sith to hit, Leto's own blasterfire provided enough of a distraction to throw off the Sith's aim and none of the shots sent his way landed true.

Still holding onto the Force, Leto stuck his head around the corner once more when the blasterfire coming his way stopped and was about to think of the best way to proceed forward, but opportunity presented itself as Xornoth fired off lightning at Fennex. With the Sith's attention on the Jedi Master, Leto fired again, aiming once more for the Sith's chest where one of his earlier shots had already landed. And so, as Xornoth was firing his lightning at Fennex and holstering his weapon, Leto fired four more shots at him. With the Sith caught between using one hand to attack the Jedi Master and the other to put away his weapon, Leto hoped to catch him off guard and unable to defend himself. With Fennex's telekinetic blast hitting the Sith soon after, there was a good chance that they had taken one Sith out of the fight. Leto would take this opening to pull free his lightsaber from the wall as he turned his attention towards the other Sith. Seeing him moving towards the Jedi, he would fire a couple of testing shots towards his chest, more to make him pause and not really expecting them to land of do any damage. As before, if shots came his way he would duck behind cover to avoid them.

And through it all he continued gathering the Force, building up a formidable amount.

The combination of Fennex not retreating and shortly later Leto returning to fire, gave vital and urgent information to the Sith Master that required his full immediate attention. Before his pistol could holster, Xornoth discarded it suddenly, letting it fall to his feet and being lost and hidden within the trash that the Jedi had strewn about.

The Jedi had been careless in their preparation and awarded the Sith many obstacles to overcome but also gave them both shields and weapons to exploit.

Before the lightning infused force attack could impact him, Xornoth used his now empty hand and most of his concentration to lift and hold a large piece of the shelving, big enough for the short Sith to hide behind in front of him and held it there with the force, dropping it in front of him once the force blast dissipated.

This shelving would ideally block the lions share of the force attack and absorb it as the attack headed his way.

Defending against new blaster shots, Xornoth would remain alert enough to use his lightsaber again to intercept the incoming shots although due to the concentration required for defeating Fennex's attack, the deflected shots would likely simply head randomly forward and impact the walls or floor.

Despite the defense, Fennex's singular concentration meant that Xornoth would be driven backward with the Sith Master pacing backward several feet and giving ground while under assault.

Xornoth maintained his preparedness to react to either Jedi launching another attack as it seemed they had strength parity in the force.

The jedi seemed to be focusing on Xornoth to try and take him out quickly, while that was not a good thing, it gave Kano freedom to be more offensive, his opportunity came when Leto started shooting at Xornoth, the Kaleesh abomination would start using the force on Leto before the fourth blaster bolt was shot shortly after Xornoth used his lightning, the force would gather around the jedi's blaster arm, pulling it down just before the fourth shot that would simply hit the ground, Leto would find it hard to do anything about it, seeing how he was focusing on shooting at Xornoth and not keeping watch of what Kano was doing. Inmediately after the push, the Kaleesh abomination would start adding pressure, tightening the grip and making sure to not let go, inmovilizing that arm and then aiming to break it. Kano would be using his free hands to gesture and help him make the grip stronger, and with Leto having one arm inmovilized and the other one holding a lightsaber, he would find it very difficult to break free from the grip on his own.

Kano would do nothing else except watch out for any attacks coming at him, being prepared to defend himself and then exploit any openings he saw in their attacks or defenses.

Leto felt the pressure on his hand, and seeing as the first Sith was already occupied with their attacks, knew immediately that the other Sith had finally decided to enter the fray. Well, better late than never. Unfortunately the Sith did nothing to defend against the two shots Leto had planned to fire at him and despite his interrupt Leto managed to pull off the shots and the Sith took them squarely in the chest. (Autohit as no defense was mentioned). A simple twist of the hand, a well placed pair of shots, and the shots landed just as Leto had intended.

If the shots did not stop the Sith's attack, unlikely as a pair of shots would break anyone's attention, then Leto would let the initial pull lead his arm, but while his arm went down he twisted his wrist towards the second Sith, who was on the same side of the corridor as him and thus straight down the corridor from where Leto was peeking out. And so even though his arm was pointed down, he was able to twist his wrist to aim the carbine at Kano and began firing, firing two shots at the Sith's chest in an attempt to break his concentration. And if the two shots did break the Sith's concentration then Leto would simply follow up with two more shots to his chest, much easier now without any obstruction.

At the same time, as he became aware of the Sith's attack on him and the nature of the attack, Leto finally let loose the Force that he had been gather for some time now (past two rounds) and reached for the Sith, catching his armor in a tight grip and crushing down on his chest. With the amount of power he had already gathered, his own attack on the Sith would be much more potent than what he had tried on the Jedi's arm. If Leto's earlier attacks did not break the Sith's attention then the two would be in a game of chicken and with Leto bringing more power to bear on the Sith, he stood a better chance of winning as while he could afford a broken hand, the Sith most definitely risk losing his chest.

Through this all, the bolts that Xornoth had blindly deflected away impacted well away from Leto, not bothering the Jedi in any way.

As soon as he released his hastily redirected attack and the Sith began lifting the shelving unit to block it, Fennex took a half step out from cover, exposing himself but giving him a much cleaner shot at his opponent. At the same time he drove his free paw forward to meet his saber paw (still held at arms length in front of him from his previous defense), conjuring and unleashing a devastating blast. Without the need to defensively redirect or respond to any new attacks against him, this singular and focused usage of the Force would be much more powerful than the last. It would strike Xornoth as he stumbled backwards and deflected Leto's blaster bolts harmlessly into the ground away from the two Jedi. With Xor's concentration split by his defenses and with Fen hidden from view by the makeshift shield, the Sith would have no way to see the attack coming before it hit him. The ball of telekinetic energy would slam into and through the shelving unit, sending both it and the Sith crashing backwards into the now even closer vault door in a destructive explosion of Force energy.

Even as Fennex released his attack he could feel Kano targeting Leto, but he trusted the Knight to be able to handle himself for a few moments while the Master took care of Xor. Fen's saber was still in a good defensive position to catch any stray bolts redirected at the pair from Leto's new firing, and he was once again free to defend or press the attack as needed, depending on the Sith reactions.

With previous force attack from Fennex dissipated against the makeshift shield, the object collapsed as Xornoth dropped it to the ground which revealed the Jedi Master entering the corridor properly now and preparing to make another attack. As Xornoth had maintained the majority of his concentration against Fennex, it would be foolish to consider a follow-up attack against the powerful Sith Master would go unnoticed.

Fennex's force blast smashed into the shelving unit but continued no further as Xornoth erected a force barrier to absorb the attack in time to prevent the concentrated blast from striking him or hitting Kano while finding his footing to stabilize himself.

With Leto completely focused on Kano, Xornoth dropped the barrier with the imminent danger over and moved forward with both his lightsaber held in a defensive manner and his free hand ready to defend against anything that might be sent his way. Xornoth remained aware of both Fennex's movements and that of the lesser Jedi knight and would be able to react if either tried anything during this careful movements.

Anything Fennex tried, Xornoth countered and anything Xornoth would try, Fennex would counter. A saber battle was therefore inevitable but the Sith Master would not overextend and leave Kano behind entirely nor would he move aggressively and stupidly into melee distance straight away. At most, if nothing new happened and both Jedi did nothing, Xornoth would meet Fennex halfway.

Kano seemed to have underestimated his opponent, who managed to land two shots and break his chest armor, thus obviously breaking his concentration and stopping him from holding a grip on his arm for too long, the Kaleesh would obviously deflect the next shots, the two first going accurately back at him, aiming to hit him in the chest, the other two, however, the Kaleesh wouldn't bother aiming with, as he would start concentrating once more, preparing himself for when it came to force powers, not even the powerful attack that came from Fennex and his partner flying distracting him from his current focus.

Kano could feel the force wrapping him, pressuring him, he knew that if he let Leto do his force trick he would be seriously damaged, but using the force to try and fight against an attack that his enemy had prepared when Kano had just a moment to gather strength would be foolish and futile, instead, the Kaleesh used the force to quickly pull the jedi back into cover in a quick horizontal movement, this move would be almost instantaneous, seeing how Leto was just peeking out of cover, the man would find himself looking at the wall, losing sight of Kano and therefore, finding himself unable to keep up his offense and, most importantly, losing the focus in the force that he gathered around him. The time it would take Leto to poke his head out Kano would use to lift his lower right arm above the upper one and grab Vin's blaster, which he had hidden in his robotic arm, this would take almost no time, but even if, Fennex, for example, tried to stop him from taking the gun, it would have to be before Kano even pulled it out, seeing how he would practically grab the blaster the moment it came up. After that, Kano would watch out, preparing himself to defend himself and retaliate, calling on the force once more to assist him on what would be his next attack.

Leto, having already begun crushing the Sith's chest as he fired the two shots at the Sith, was paying close attention to the Sith, and when he deflected the shots back towards him, Leto quickly ducked behind the corner to once more be in cover. But he did not let go of his hold on the Force nor did he stop crushing the Sith. With enough time between the bolts reaching the Sith and him deflecting them back towards Leto, he had ample time to get behind cover so that none of the shots hit him, even the ones aimed specifically for him or just deflected blindly. All slammed harmlessly into the corridor walls, so he simply continued crushing the Sith's chest while hiding behind the corner as all the returned shots missed him.

Ducked behind cover as he was, Kano's subsequent attempt to move him behind the cover failed as Leto was already behind cover when the Sith would attempt his attack, and as such would be left with no line of sight on Leto and thus was unable to initiate his attack. Regardless, even if he had managed to jerk the Jedi back into cover, Leto was a seasoned Jedi with the strength and focus to match a Master, and such a feeble attempt would not have broken his concentration. Either way, the Sith's attempt to move the Jedi with the Force and break his concentration failed and Leto continued crushing the Sith, with enough time and focus spent on the undefended attack that by now it would have broken bones and begun crushing internal organs. In all probability the Sith would be knocked unconscious even as he would attempt to draw his blaster.

Only when he felt the Sith pass out and collapse unconscious to the ground would Leto let go of his hold on the Sith's chest. He would then pull his lightsaber out of the wall, having left it buried in the wall all this while as an anchor against any pushes and shoves by the Sith, and poke his head out of the corner once more. Assuming Kano was out of the fight, he would focus on Xornoth and if not forced to defend himself in any way he would reach out with the Force, grab a shelving unit from behind the Sith and pull on it to slam into the Sith from behind with enough force to break his focus on whatever action he might be taking.

Through all this Leto would be alert to sense any attacks coming his way and if Kano had somehow managed to pull off some sort of defense against Leto's attack and tried attacking him then he would take actions accordingly. Not blindly dedicating himself to an all out attack while also committing to it as long as viable.

Fennex and Leto's attacks were making the Sith pay for every inch of corridor they gained. Xornoths barrier would save him from the worst effects of the blast, but it clearly looked like it hurt- especially since the Sith had already taken a blaster bolt to the chest in the last few moments- and would keep him stumbling back and unsteady. Kano, meanwhile, had been shot twice and was being mercilessly crushed by Leto- he would likely be crippled after his hasty and ineffective defense. Fen was beginning to tire- he'd used a lot of energy holding the Sith back, but Xor had used a lot defending himself. If this was a stalemate, the Jedi Master certainly thought he and his partner had the upper hand for a moment, but he needed a breather.

Feeling Leto's intent to take Kano out of the fight, Fennex saw an opportunity to help him along and further delay Xor at the same time. The fox Jedi once again tightened his free paw, grabbing Kano with the Force and then with one motion flung the four armed abomination sideways into his partner as the Jedi side stepped back into cover. This was much the same maneuver he'd tried when the Sith entered, throwing one into the other in a mess of limbs and lightsabers- except now Kano was wounded, under attack from Leto, and in no position to defend himself from the singular attention of a Jedi Master at the same time. The abomination would fly directly into Xornoth, who would again have to defend himself from his own partner. If the Kaleesh somehow managed to avoid slicing each other apart, Kano would still slam into the wall, further adding to his growing list of ailments.

Fennex, meanwhile, would be back in cover once more. His lightsaber was still held before him in case one of the Sith got off a blaster bolt or arc of lightning, but their chance would be fleeting and then Fennex would be safe. Once hidden around the corner the Jedi would retreat a few steps away from the wall and knelt on his right knee, breathing deeply, re-centering himself and replenishing his energy. He rested his saber arm on his left knee, loose but ready to defend as he kept his eyes on the corridor opening and on Leto, who would also be in cover again. He wiped his sweaty right paw on his cloth sash belt, near his lightsaber clip. This battle was proving tiresome.
