Kano let out an eldritch scream after the armor began crushing him, parts of it puncturing his skin, badly damaging his organs and greatly hurting him, the Kaleesh's first reaction was to deactivate his lightsabers and put all of his four hands on his armor under the cloak, trying to pull before it went too deep, this would only.delay the inevitable, Kano would cough a couple times before passing out shortly after hitting the wall, Xornoth or whatever his fate would be after being thrown by Fennex, Xornoth at least wouldn't have to defend himself against his partner's lightsabers but he was now on his own...

The guttural screams of a fellow Kaleesh pierced Xornoths ears drawing his immediate attention to his ally beside him. Their journey into the vault had barely begun down its short path and yet Kano was succumbing to the pathetic Jedi attacks already.

Kano scrambled to try and relieve the pressure spiking upon his chest in vain before being thrown against his will toward Xornoth himself, who deactivated his lightsaber and reached out to grab the limp Sith as the pair hit the wall together.

Kano's body sequentially hit the flooooor after being only momentarily braced for impact as Xornoth attempted to slow the hurtling Kaleesh down with his own strength but could only do so much.

Fennex dashed for cover and regaining his stamina from the force pull while Leto came back out he would find Xornoth staring at him once more, bruised and in a fury. With his outstretched hand, the Sith Master reached out with the force to instantly grip Leto's face with the intent to twist his head more than 120 degrees to his right. If the Jedi did not apply his full focus and then some, he would find his neck completely broken and it would be likely fatal.

This force attack would prevent Leto from lifting the shelving unit to attack Xornoth if he valued his life, to continue it would mean death for the Jedi Knight as he split his concentration.

Leto heard Kano's scream as the Sith passed out and on poking his head out of the corner noticed the two Sith near each other. Feeling the Sith's attack on his neck, he dropped his attempt to attack him with the shelving unit and instead used the Force to hold his neck in place, pouring everything he had into the defense.

He knew that he Sith was stronger than him, he could sense that easily enough. But somehow, over the course of the short encounter, he had stumbled upon something else. The simple fact that he wasn't going to win because of how strong he was, they were going to win because they were Jedi. Trust the Force, his masters had always told him. And deep down he had always ignored that as religious mumbo-jumbo. But now he understood a little of what they meant. On his own he would have stood no chance, but with Fennex there he was going to win. He had to trust the Force, he had to trust Fennex, he had to trust someone other than himself. That's what it meant to be a Jedi, do your best and trust that others will do the same. That is what Kit had always told him, and he had died because Leto hadn't done his best. Well, today he was going to do his best and trust in another.

So with little concern for himself, the Force burning through him to hold his neck in place, he raised his carbine, took aim at the remaining Sith's chest (already damaged by the shot that had landed at the begining of the fight) and began firing, not stopping till the remaining six shots were all spent. He probably could not hold on against the Sith's attack for more than a few seconds, but that was all the time they needed. With his lightsaber deactivated, and Fennex doing something to help out, the Sith would hopefully not last for long enough to actually take out the young Jedi.

The Sith had died because they had fought alone. Leto was hoping he would live because he fought with Fennex, fought as a team. Fought as a Jedi.

No rest for the weary, Fennex thought as he watched Xornoths attack take hold of Leto and heard the boy begin gasping for breath. It had been a good couple of seconds, at least. Fennex quickly rose from his knee and rushed forward, bringing the Sith back into view as Leto raised his blaster. Fennex drove both his hands forward and poured all of his focus into a powerful stasis field, instantly freezing Xor in place as Leto took aim and emptied his carbine.

With Xornoth stuck in place, defenseless, focused on Leto, and already having taken damage from Letos blaster, Fens Force Blast, and getting sideswiped by Kano, there would be little the Sith could do, even if he did try to shift focus and resist Fennex' power- There just wasn't enough time to react to save him before the scarlet energy bolts landed.

These Jedi were nothing if not predictable with first Leto popping out again to shoot only this time the youthful Jedi found his face near twisted off if not for how he strained to resist the inevitable death that sought him. As if by cue Leto returned to his old favorite one trick pony act and raised his blaster to fire upon Xornoth while simultaneously Fennex rounded the corner to try and surprise him. This hadn't worked the last two times for the Jedi and it wouldn't again.

As Leto abandoned his force attack to defend himself, Xornoth felt confident to go on the offensive by utilizing the already established force grip that he held on Leto and throwing him headfirst toward where Fennex would be standing, sending the knight toward the Master's deadly blade. By using the previously mentioned twist already applied to the man in the attack, Leto would be propelled toward his ally with his body rotating away from Xornoth and thus preventing the Jedi from accurately shooting toward the Sith.

This attack would likely have one of two outcomes, either Leto would fly into Fennex and risk dying to the Jedi Masters still ignited lightsaber, or the Jedi Master would move out of the way and let the Knight fly face first into the ground with enough force to cause trauma or death. This also would likely interrupt Fennex's concentration on locking Xornoth down with a stasis force attack.

Having ignited the lightsaber in his hand, he would use the brief distraction and interruption to collect a second lightsaber from Kano and ignite it while maintaining a defensive posture.

Leto understood what the Sith was trying to do, somewhere in the back of his mind he understood. But he also saw the flaw in the Sith's approach. He expected Leto to act like him, like a Sith, and prioritize himself over the mission. But unfortunate for him Leto was a Jedi, maybe a bad one, but a Jedi nonetheless. And he had already placed his trust in Fennex and the Sith's attack didn't change that.

The Sith had already tried to turn Leto's face away, but the Jedi had held on, and even when the Sith tried to toss him to the side Leto was pouring every ounce of strength he had in the Force to keep his neck from getting twisted off, as the Sith was relying on that twist to rotate Leto the Jedi resisting that attack also prevented him from getting bodily rotated. Regardless, with the sith attempting to toss him instead of twist his head off, Leto was still using the Force to resist the twist and that would help any bodily twist as the sith was grippong him by the face and the bodily twist would come from there. This Leto resisted any attempts at a bodily twist, as his defense was also focused on his head. So as the Sith tried to toss him, Leto was still looking at the Sith as he began his sideways trajectory, trusting in Fennex to be smart enough to not skewer him on his blade. As the sith had tried to toss him as he was raising his carbine and before he actually started firing, Leto began correcting his aim from the moment he felt himself being flung and when he began firing at the Sith he expected to get every single shot to land. And as the Sith had done nothing to prevent Leto from firing, hoping that his attack would make Leto miss, Leto was able to continue firing at him and seeing his shots hit.

Held in motion as he was, the Sith took one shot after another to his already damaged chest armor which failed after the first hit and let the remaining shots cut right through to skin and bone that lay beneath. With multiple shots hitting him, by the time Leto would crash to the ground the Sith was probably dead. Even if Leto came out of this banged and bruised because of the last attack, if both the Sith were now down then it would all be worth it.

Fennex saw Leto start moving towards him out of the corner of his eye- the Sith appeared to be copying him now. Rather than stand still and let the boy collide with him, Fennex simply crouched and moved forward a bit until he was safely out of the young Knights path. As he did so he swished his tail behind him, using it to channel the Force into an upward and sideways push that would soften Leto's landing, letting him continue flying past Fennex and sending him skidding across the floor instead of faceplanting. It was a quick motion, and it wouldn't save the boy entirely but... well, luckily the kid was wearing a helmet. Fennex maintained his Force Stasis effect on Xornoth throughout. While the quick push with his tail would split his focus some, Xornoth had made no attempt at all to resist him and would continue to be solidly locked in place.

The Siths defense had relied entirely on both Jedi abandoning their efforts completely, and neither had done so. All of six of Leto's blaster bolts zipped past and over Fennex as the boy flew through the air, and most of them slammed unimpeded into the frozen and defenseless Sith. Xornoth had acted too aggressively, leaving no back up plan for his own defense if the Jedi didn't act as he had hoped, and it would prove to be his undoing.
