Which is why I said nope. They're not doing any races that aren't Near-Human. It doesn't work with ''what they're trying to do''.

You'd be right, there's a Wookie Companion character, but apparently that's all your getting.

It doesn't work from a story telling point of view apparently.

This harkens back to what I've said before:

The Space Combat, is the only thing I HATE about the game.

The races are an inconvenience.

And the voice-over dedication they've made is a MASSIVE double edged sword.

I'm all for joining an RP server with you guys - or PVE. I'm not a fan of PvP simply because I play the games for the story. LotRO I hardly ever go fight with the Freeps unless it's reqquired for a mission or something

Also, smuggler seems popular. Smuggler and bounty hunter just look insanely awesome, like they were actually developed, where the Force users are just cookie-cutter good/bad guys and the Trooper and Imperial Agent just make me go, "What?"

PvP servers are more for the hardcore inclined. I'd actually love to join an RP/PvE server with the SWRP folks. Played with a few of you in the Star Wars Galaxies Emulation project and that was a lot of fun.

I like the look of all the classes so it'll be tough to decide, not sure how many characters we be allowed to have. working on the assumption that i'll run 2 characters perhaps -

Republic Trooper

Sith Inquisitor

Quite likely i'll change my mind though :D

I've never played an MMO like this, Eve Online being the extent of my experience. PvE sounds good to get a feel for the game, Not sure how RP works though.
