What Type of Computer Do you Use

I got my alienware for christmas, so I can finaly get a fast moving pc. But the one thing is that it is going to be a pain to get all my music, programs, and games onto it.

a simple ethernet connection can help witht he transfer, just make sure you dont bring a virus over.

Not enough people use Macs for people to bother to program viruses for them.

I would but I live in rural Southern Illinois so I would have to order my parts online.

I have a Gateway, but I don't really like it that much... Not sure exactly why, either. I don't really follow companies that churn out computers, so I can't say.

I want an alienware, but they cost way to much. I use a HP pavilion 775e, heavily upgraded though. Someone who built the computer at the factory probably wouldn't regongize the inside. Imagine a ball of yarn, replace that with wires, and you got the inside of my computer:D

Alienware = Overpriced

Alienware cost like 4-6 grand if I'm not mistaken.

Can go out and buy all the stuff thats in it for easily under $1,500 (Unless you go top notch on everything, then its helluva lot better than a Alienware.)

I used to get the Tiger Direct magazine, but they just stopped coming a couple of months ago.

I have a PC (Dell). I used to play alot of computer games but the main reason I haven't gotten a mac is because my current major is college is Digital Animation using programs like Maya, Z Brush, and Combustion, and they are much better suited on a PC. Programs like Photoshop and the like are better suited for macs.
