Emryc eyed her blankly as she complained about her outfit being ruined, “Probably an improvement,” He stated flatly before focusing back on the Holo. He was moody from seeing that idiot Trady on the screen again. How old was he anyway? Wasn’t it time to retire? Emryc was too focused on the screen to notice Tiamat moving off the couch and onto the floor. He felt her tugging at his pants and tilted his head to stare at her.

“What are you doing?” He asked blankly, blinking a few times as he watched her fiddle around with his perfectly fine sweatpants. She had done the same thing years ago and he had been just as confused back then. Emryc privately hoped this time it wouldn’t end with him thrown through a wall again.

The half Sephi scoffed a bit as she declared she wasn’t a wimp, glancing back at the screen, “Yeah? Like a laundromat?”

He once again watched her continue to fiddle with the pants. Despite being bizarre, there was something oddly tender about it. It wasn’t something some random stranger would ever do, and they would be long tossed from his presence if they tried. It was almost affectionate in nature, but he didn’t quite understand it. Emryc simply watched her in silence, a comical look on his face that was a mix of fascination and utter confusion.

When she heard him ask what she was doing, the redhead froze mid-adjustment; her brow narrowed and her cheeks started to turn several shades crimson. "Fixing these...I don't know how you still have them..." she grumbled to herself as she moved to the next pant leg. Though her mind churned with ideas on how to adjust them, or get him a pair that he could add length without having to buy a new pair. Tia was certain he could just buy a new pair anytime they stopped fitting correctly, but if he was anything like her at times, the risk of buying a pair of pants that would be uncomfortable would be obscene. Gently she rolled the seem into itself, ensuring both sides were even.

She went back to thinking about things that were scarier than their earlier encounter, her gaze catching the smiling Bom Trady waving and signing huttballs for fans, though they seemed to focus beyond the holo. "Not a laundromat, far from it." she corrected him, though laundromats were pretty scary, especially if one starts to think what was washing in the machine before she put her clothes inside. She rested her head against his knee, not moving from the floor as she felt her heart beat a little bit faster, "It was a cave." Tia stated, inhaling quietly and shrugged, pushing away the unease, "I made it out though, obviously."

The woman lifted herself to sit back on the couch, carefully twisting her hair to tuck into a bun, "Trady seems like a great athlete." she said, keeping him from probing more, "That Matrick Pah'omes seems like a good player too."

Emryc watched her as she worked, eyes narrowing slowly. While the practice made no sense to him, he couldn’t help but find it fascinating that she was just as focused on this as she was on her calculations. She worked methodically and meticulously, ensuring that everything was folded and perfectly even, “They’re comfortable,” He stated icily, “And I’m still growing,” He added. He had no idea how long he would keep growing, but even his current height was an inconvenience most of the time. Tiamat had known him since he was only a few inches taller than her and had a lanky build with long hair. That boy was gone entirely except for the silver eyes which remained the same.

The half Sephi’s eyes narrowed even more as she blurted out about a cave. The way she tensed caught his attention. While he normally didn’t care about things if the person didn’t elaborate, he had known her for a long time and she had been his apprentice. Emryc opened his mouth to talk when Tiamat commented on the Huttball players. There was a look of deep distaste on his face, “I question your knowledge about either players beyond how attractive you find them,” He stated flatly.

Emryc looked back at the screen for a moment, sitting in silence for a few seconds before he recalled what she had said earlier. The half Sephi looked back at her, silver gaze piercing into her, “What happened in the cave?”

It nearly worked as he seemed unconvinced that she knew what she was talking about when it came to Huttball. His comment about her knowledge extending to attractiveness brought a wide grin to the redhead. However when he remembered what she had said earlier, internally she cursed, feeling his silver eyes burn against the top of her head. She glanced up at him before her gaze returned to the holo as she tried to decide what would be worth telling him. Her memory had been so clouded regarding anything with him lately, she couldn't remember when he had shown interest in what she had said or did. She wasn't even sure if she were feeling emotions correctly either, everything was entirely conflicted.

Her brow narrowed for a brief moment in thought, "I don't know." she shrugged, "Maybe some bad luck. I haven't decided." she explained, knowing it was indeed cryptic, but he wasn't one she could turn to, at least she thought, it seemed like this whole thing was odd. Regardless, it was clear she was not interested in venturing further into the topic of the cave. Even Renfry had tried and she had been reluctant to even relay her experience to the Empress.

"Who do you think fucks better? Bom Trady or Matrick Pa'homes?" she asked, bouncing back to his statement regarding the attractiveness level of the two players. Not that she actually thought either of them were attractive enough for her to get within a yard of her pants, even if they asked nicely.

Emryc’s eyes narrowed slightly as Tiamat deflected again. Regardless of whether or not Tiamat remembered him, she would once again discover that the half Sephi was not the prying type when someone truly didn’t want to divulge something. As a result, he asked nothing else about it. He simply sat in silence, gazing at her calmly in a way that very clearly projected that he saw right through her. But it would have to come from her if she wanted to share what happened.

The half Sephi looked back at the screen and gave a half grin, “After the spectacular way the Krayts got railed last week, I’d pick Trady,” Emryc tilted his head to look at her, “Maybe I’ll fuck them both and let you know,” He stated dryly.

The half Sephi crossed his arms over his chest as he regarded her, “So what now? Now that you’ve rolled up my pants, would you like some knitting supplies to fix up the rest of my wardrobe?”

The redhead kept her gaze on the holo, realizing she was sitting awfully tense until he accepted her topic change, not pushing further. The woman's grin widened when he mentioned the Huttball game recently and she felt her shoulder's relax as she sunk into the couch, relieved she didn't need to talk about the cave at the moment. Renfry had pushed her much further than Emryc, which only lead to more unease and discomfort about her circumstances. She knew she would eventually have to tell either of them, but she was uncertain is she was ready for the consequences of such a story.

Her eyebrows rose when he suggested he'd fuck both of them. "I would appreciate that, then you can tell me who I shouldn't waste my time with. I don't want a boring fuck." Tia hummed as he crossed his arms, though she knew it was using sarcasm, her brain was churning ideas to see if it were even possible to create a wardrobe that could be adjusted. Her head tilted to the side, blue eyes focused on the puzzle in her mind's eye.

"Knitting...no...actually..." she jumped up from her seat and quickly found her pack and ripped out a piece of paper. She was slow to return to Emryc, focused on creating specific creases in the paper. Silently and quickly she worked, a slow step with each completed layer until she was back to the couch where Emryc was still sitting. Just as slowly she sat back down, resting her cheek against his shoulder. "Folding, watch," she collapsed the paper onto itself and opened it back up, "Solar sails used this type of technique to collapse and expand, may be trickier with fabric, but not impossible." She handed the paper to him, "Which..." she paused, glancing up to catch his gaze with genuine concern.

"We're not gonna stay on this world all night? With that house still out there? Are we?"
