Yep, it's exactly what it says on the tin; however, Vampires aren't the cause of the apocalypse, but are the symptom of it...a genetic mutation if you will that is activated within certain people. As such, while they share certain traits, Vampires are a diverse bunch which vary from region to region and according to how mutated they are. Of course, the player group will consist of both normal humans and Vampires, since the previous will still have a number of advantages over the latter.

So, what say you guys?

P.S. None of them sparkle!

The location is to be voted on by all applicants, since each location has it's own problems. The apocalypse itself was actually caused a meteorite striking the moon, thus raining pieces of it on Earth...the biggest ones caused tsunamis whilst all that smoke from the fires of impact zones had screwed up the climate. Also, all of that lunar dust is pretty radioactive, thus heavy impact zones are dangerous to enter without protection

As for the Vampires, they are actually still biologically alive, just pretty mutated. As a rule, they are stronger, faster and heal faster than humans. As it has been only 30 years since the Moonfall occurred, no one is sure whether or not Vampires are immortal; some say they are because of the existence of Vampires who were terminal cancer patients at the time the event ocurred. They do generally need to feed on blood, though normal food can be eat, it takes a hell of a lot of it to satisfy a VampiredWhen exposed to ultraviolet or silver, they suffer from anaphylaxis which can actually prove fatal if the exposure is a large amount. Due to certain genetics, Vampires are also known to be extremely varied in appearance and other abilities. Indeed, they take on the features and abilities related from the Vampiric myths of wherever they hailed from. A Vampire from Europe (anywhere that's not Scandinavia), known as a Strigoi, exhibits the traits of Classic Vampires, though the most heavily mutated exhibit chiropteran features. A Vampire from China, known as a Jiangshi, would have green skin at the least and very hirsute at the most. Due to a form of arthritis that they suffer from, they often seem very stiff but make up for it with raw jumping power. Also, if you're a Vampire, expect a lot of angry mobs because people think you can infect them (newsflash, you can't :D ).

This looks interesting asf. I'm a Vampire fan at heart (even if the genre has been used to the point of absurdity)

However. Would it be possible for a human to partake in the RP?
If not that's all good. But I certainly wouldn't mind getting my Apocalypse Survivor on.

Always up for some chaos.

I vote Australia as well, but perhaps if there is enough interest we can split into groups and role play different parts of the world.
Eg. An Austraila group, European group, Southern Asia group.

Anyone still feel like trying this?

I've been tempted to write something up for awhile now.
